I had an approximate vision of what I wanted, and was finding it nowhere, not even close, and also I'm smaller than average so the right fit was tricky too. They work was to replace a 15 inch strip on the back of suitcase which was lost on 1 of my trips. On the invoice they quoted a higher amount (almost twice the amount I was quoted at the store). They charged more to ship it back to the store, than I paid to ship it to them. Wouldn't the distance be same both ways and finally, they were charging me Ontario taxes (HST) instead of Alberta GST only. Since, I wanted to pay with my Credit card over the phone, I had to call them 3 times before someone answered the phone, even though I had left 2 voicemails to call me back. When I asked the girl, if it could be shipped to my house instead of the store, I was given a lame excuse that shipping would cost more since they ship in bulk to the store. The sales person at the store was surprised since mine was the only suitcase they received on August 6th. Needless to say, I was not impressed with this place's service. The work seems ok, but only time will tell when I use it on my next trip.

Because I am a member, the shopping bag is free. I do like the clothing here as I find them pretty durable. My rain jacket is still working in repelling rain after 8 years. I still have a light jacket from the 1990s which is still usable though I hardly wear it now. I like the frequent promotions and sales which do help to make things affordable. I wait for those times to buy parkas and jackets which can be in the $300+ range. I love the jeans and guide capris and I hope they never get discontinued. I do find the jeans wear out quickly if you live in them. Maybe because I wash them after 2-3 wears? So I do buy the jeans often. The leggings and tops (t shirts and long sleeved) are great too. The leggings hold up well and don't roll down easily. The carry on suitcase and packables are great for traveling. Sneakers and slippers quality is good. I love the throws too. So comfortable and warm. This store is great for picking up stuff. Service is ok.

I absolutely love the supreme quality of the jackets & vests. On top of it all, Canada Goose is still - Made in Canada! No size fits the same - in some product I wear a size large & others a medium. It all depends on how your mama & papa made your body. Best to always try on a variety of styles first before you buy. For example one of the lines - Hybridge - jackets & vests are slim fit, so you'll definitely want to try on a few items first, even if you think they're going to make you look fabulous - they still gotta fit first. If it doesn't fit, you must ... not buy it! Ah what did you think I was going to say!? Also of note is the PBI line - Polar Bears International - on select jackets. Look for the PBI patch on one arm. CG is a more fashionable line, that will keep you warm in town & by the base at the mountains. However, if you are planning on going to the North Pole, then you'd probably be better off looking at Patagonia etcetera. CG ain't cheap but each item is a keeper & over the last few years the resale value has been consistent - prices remain high even when purchasing second hand items. Be extremely careful when buying Canada Goose product online through non retail sellers - there is a lot of fake items up for sale online. Verify, verify, verify!!! Gone are the days of buying jackets with polyester fill, unless you want to freeze to death. Down fill is an absolute must in any quality jacket you buy. So look at the label for duck or goose down filling, before making a purchase. Canada Goose is located at Pacific Centre Mall, downtown. It's on the upper level across from Harry Rosen (finest menswear). BTW, HR has some exclusive pricey CG items so be sure to pop in.
