I arrived early and had some extra time so I went into the store to look for something special for my upcoming wedding anniversary. Our habit for special occasions is for me to browse some favourite stores, make a small list, then he chooses and surprises me. For me, the Hermes website is difficult to maneuver. They don't list a lot of their bags, and information, including price is often left out. So after browsing I did find a bag I liked. I took it off the shelf to inspect, and wanted to know the price. I took one photo of the bag and intended to photo the tag, but was interrupted by a SA who rudely asked if she could be of assistance, and that taking photos in the store was not allowed. I felt very embarrassed as the store was busy and a group of people were sitting right by us. I asked her how am I supposed to show my husband what I'd like for an anniversary gift? She said I could look on line. I explained that never in my life have I been told this in ANY high end store. I was carrying my Hermes purse and had 2 wide Clic Clac H bracelets on. She said "it's store policy". I replied that I'd been doing this for this years in this location with no issue, and that it's unfortunate I won't have a Hermes bag on my list this year. She told me "that was fine". I went into Prada, Fendi, and Cartier. All were more than happy for me to take a photo, including Cartier where I chose a Love Bracelet. If this in fact store policy, I suggest the store say so on the entrance doors, and a couple signs in the store announcing it. I will never set foot in that store again. I have never been talked down to by a sales associate. Not in New York, not in Milan or Rome, and not in France. Vancouver has attitude. This is the photo I took. I still don't know what the bag is called or how much it. I don't care now.

**Five stars for stellar service at Louis Vuitton Hotel Vancouver!**…read more This was my first visit to the Louis Vuitton boutique at the Hotel Vancouver (I'm usually loyal to the one inside Holt Renfrew), and I was blown away. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed--*huge* thanks to Wilson, the sales associate who assisted me with a seamless exchange. I originally purchased the magnetic phone card holder from the cherry Murakami collection at the Zurich store, but I decided to swap it for something completely different: the LV Sneakerina. Wilson made the entire process feel effortless. What stood out the most? The store itself. It's **larger**, has a **beautiful layout**, and carries **a wider selection** than the Holt Renfrew location. Safe to say I've found my new favorite LV spot in Vancouver. Highly recommend stopping by--especially if you appreciate friendly, professional service and an exceptional shopping environment.

I love this store the most because it has the best view of the mountains of the North Shore within Vancouver as a brick and mortar along Water Street. On top of that their store is just an art piece of its own. I was told it was designed by Omar Arbel, an architecture who is locally from Vancouver. The check out table, the sculptures, and the 4 seating table were all his designs and his inspirations. I love how a brick and mortar can bring such an experience when entering it. The service was fantastic too, as we entered the store we were greeted by the sales staff and then handed off to a proper person who knew the products very well. He kindly helped us and let us have time to look through the product. He wasn't hasty with us at all, but the other sales girls were. They were just so pushy, cuz I was just there to relax while my friends decided to just shop and make their own decisions. Anyways, they still bought the suitcase and we left the store with a fabulous tote at the same time, and a life time warranty on the suitcase for any damages and any defaults. A fantastic time regardless, I love the vibe here, just felt a bit pushed out of the store by the sales people.
