We decided to have my wife's birthday at this restaurant. The service was very good. Our server came by often to see how we were doing. My favorite dish was the garlic shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, the butter garlic sauce had the right ratio of garlic to butter.... not too garlicky. The sirloin steak was broiled just right as ordered ... medium rare. The steak had flavor of wood our charcoal which gave the flavor of the meat a nice smokey flavor. The grilled salmon was cooked just right. The meat was soft and flaky, not hard or over cooked. The restaurant gave my wife a complimentary dessert for her birthday. This was a great gesture. Overall, we enjoyed our eating experience at Marina Bay restaurant. I would revisit Marina Bay if were ever back visiting Barcelona.

I was a little traumatized looking into his little face knowing that he was about to be cooked... But, that aside, I must say the lobster was tender and delicious! I would order it again...just perhaps without seeing the live one first...lol The restaurant was in walking distance of our hotel and the casino so it was extremely convenient. I docked one star because we went for dinner one night and they had randomly closed early. We were bummed and had to come back the next night.

We ordered the fish and seafood paella for around €28. The menu states a minimum of 2 people to share, but does not list a maximum number of people. Being that we are in a new environment and are unfamiliar with the menu, we inquired about the paella and were told that the three of us could share one paella. At no point were we told that having three people at the table would result in being charged twice. The portion was actually smaller than expected, but we ate it and didn't complain. When the bill arrived, we realized that we had been charged twice for the one paella we ordered. When we questioned the manager, he explained that because the paella is intended for two people and there were three of us, we would be charged twice. That to me makes absolutely no sense. If there is an additional charge for a third person sharing, that should be clearly stated on the menu or explained before the order is placed, especially after we were told the three of us could share it. Had we known this we simply would have just ordered two paellas receive two portions. Instead, we paid the price of two while receiving only one. We chose not to argue further or cause a scene. We are visitors in a foreign country and we are of a different demographic, which made us uncomfortable in escalating the situation. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was good, but the lack of transparency regarding the pricing completely ruined the experience. Charging customers for two meals while serving only one, without clearly explaining that beforehand, is unacceptable.

It's very clearly a bunch of pre cooked rice into which they throw whatever you order. The grilled seafood platters may be your best bet, as a chance to just get a good piece of seafood. That was the only diner at our table who really seemed to enjoy his meal. The place appears to have hundreds of seats and be able to turn tables over really quickly, and their emphasis appears to be strongly on "feed tourists quickly". So why four stars? They do a lot to give you value for money. Just sat down? Free glass of cava. Menu prices, food and drink, emphasize low cost, it's easy to have a ton of food and drink for under 50 Euro. End of the meal? Shot of limoncello-like herbal liqueur. Don't want a whole dessert? Complementary tray of olive oil cake. And a refill on that liqueur. On that basis, it's a pretty good overall dinner experience and we weren't unhappy. Just don't come here if you aren't motivated by alcohol.

They also gave us bread and tomatoes to make our own pan con tomate. Everything tasted very fresh, and it was a nice ambience, in covered open air seating right along the beach. One thing is they also directed a magician to come over at our table to do some tricks, which was very entertaining but not necessarily something we wanted to stay for, but I guess we got the full tourist experience! Overall, a nice spot for a nice dinner.

The feta cheese was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like imitation rubber cheese. - The "Al Ajillo" Style Shrimps (GAMBES AMB ALLADA) had a very strange flavor within it, which overwhelmed the garlic flavors. - The Beef Tenderloin (FILET VEDELLA), she had to spit 1/4 of it out because it was too tough. - Everything was overpriced there for the value. If you are in the area DO NOT waste your time nor money dining here!!!

The foie gras was absolutely unforgettable--rich, delicate, and simply to die for. The sangria was equally exceptional, fresh, balanced, and dangerously delicious. But what makes this place truly special is something that can't be captured on a menu. The atmosphere, the warmth, the way time seems to slow down... words simply can't do it justice. If you're visiting Barcelona, don't just come here for dinner. Come here to fall in love with the food, the city, the moment, or maybe even someone sitting across the table. An experience I'll never forget.

Well, the restaurant was cute and cozy with a great ambiance. With luck on our side, we found two seats at the bar and quickly ordered drinks. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria (because why not?). The sangria was delicious, refreshing, and made to order. It was definitely more authentic than what we're getting in America. We ordered the patatas bravas, tempura asparagus, the octopus, and the steak. It all came out as it became available. We couldn't decide what our favorite was, to be honest. We ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert and quickly requested our bill. We didn't want to hold the staff up as we noticed they were cleaning the establishment and people were finishing up. Overall, what a great experience for our first meal in Barcelona! Cute and hidden gem.

The fried calamari was heavily breaded, the only dish not so excellent unless you like all the breading! The sparkling sangria was very refreshing, if a bit light on the cava. We picked the nice outside that also had shade where we were seated. Our server was a nice older man that was super quick on the drinks and for our offer. Had raw oysters, fried shrimp, tomato bread with anchovies on top, fried oysters, grilled fish, and a seafood plate that was steamed nicely. Maybe one dish I didn't really like was the fried shrimp. My favorite was the grilled fish that had chopped garlic butter on it. I also love the tomato bread with anchovies. Overall I did enjoy this place because everything came out super quick and the food tasted good! I'm surprised at how low the rating is for this place on Yelp. But I would say if you want specific items you should ask the server and that is what we did for our grilled fish and that we were quick on time.
