The bon bons were lovely and light, so presumably not just haggis, if there were only a couple more said the greedy me, but they had a great flavour and the whisky mustard cream sauce was about as good a "british" sauce as I can remember having. It packed a ton of flavour. The venison came served on mash and a gravy, and with a side of buttered veg. Again everything combined beautifully. The mash was creamy, the sauce flavourful and the venison was cooked perfectly medium-rare, it was soft and delicious. The veg was al dente as most cheffie veg is these days, presumably to keep the goodness in. There was almost nothing not to like as far as I was concerned.

The waiting staff were pleasant & helpful but need to be a little more attentive as we were left without cutlery & had trouble ordering more drinks with our mains. That felt awkward and horrible, we thought she was serving us but she was like "Oh yours will be here soon, just using your table for now while I'm serving." "Eh cheers!"
