It packed a ton of flavour. The venison came served on mash and a gravy, and with a side of buttered veg. Again everything combined beautifully. The mash was creamy, the sauce flavourful and the venison was cooked perfectly medium-rare, it was soft and delicious. The veg was al dente as most cheffie veg is these days, presumably to keep the goodness in. There was almost nothing not to like as far as I was concerned.

Now I've been here many times for meals and always had a really good meal and experience. We were always served last and the waitress used our table to set down some of plates while she was serving. That felt awkward and horrible, we thought she was serving us but she was like "Oh yours will be here soon, just using your table for now while I'm serving." "Eh cheers!"
