Red brick combo

A local pub brewery that brews its own beer! English Pub style menu with a pretty good drink menu as well. The restaurant is sort of a dark decor with lots of wood. Waitstaff is polite and attentive. The restaurant can get crowded and noisy at times. They do have bar seating as we. The fish and chips are good. But the size of the fish will vary with each visit. The Maryland Pasta6is excellent. They even have an app to order food ahead to pick up or delivery.

Been a minute since I been here. Clean and fast service when you sit in the bar area. First I started with the crabby tots. Plenty of crab dip on top of a hefty amount of crispy tater tots. Entree was the shrimp tacos. This could have used an addition sauce for some more flavor. JMO. Came with the shrimp with boom sauce and cabbage. A side of tortilla chips and salsa. Overall decent food.

Red Brick has been a staple for me my entire life living in Perry Hall and I'm so happy that it continues to impress! My husband and I love coming on Mondays for half priced burgers - the Hangover and Mushroom Swiss are our favorites. The wings are also always stellar and the best way to start a meal! We love the cozy vibes of the restaurant and service is always 10/10!

Recently visited here for a working lunch. Red brick offers a nice variety of entrees and apps. While here I noshed on the crabby deviled eggs. Very rich and decadent. They were creamy and deelish. Also on this visit I had the shrimp salad sandwich. Nice size. Shrimp cooked awesomely. Salad was adequately seasoned but, had far too many celery seeds. I washed everything down with a beer flight. My fave was the IPA. Service was good. Our server was fast and attentive. Will definitely consider them for a future visit.

I drove from northern VA to White Marsh to have a reunion with my former coworkers. They recommended this spot and I can tell why. The town center has changed a lot throughout the years and this is one of the OG restaurants. Service was excellent. And the food was amazing. I was feeling seafood since I was in Baltimore and I ordered the shrimp tacos. They were hands down the best shrimp tacos I've had, and I've had a lot. Each shrimp had a very lovely and crispy batter that was spicy, sweet, and tangy. The order came with 3 tacos and each taco had three shrimps. I appreciate that each taco has one flour tortilla (and not two). The tortilla chips that came with the order were also thicker with a nicer texture. Spot on lunch for my reunion.

I decided to get crabcakes from several different places on this trip home. I have to say, out of the four place I went, Redbrick has the best soup and crabcakes. The wait was about an hour to get seated, but that not an issue especially considering we had seven in our party and there are many things to do at the Avenue. The hostesses were sweet and helpful. Our waitress did a phenomenal job taking care of us. She was quick with refills and always stopping by to check on us. Redbrick has their own brewery ( at least I think so ) and they have a Stout that taste very good. Stouts are great when it is cold like this time of year. I'm hoping Redbrick will package soup up to be shipped. If so, I have big ask for my cousins. :)

Oh my gosh I am so full! Traveling once again and thought I only had a piece of toast so I am so hungry This is the place to satisfy that hunger and thirst. Btw I am only the navigator and not the driver. So beverages included the Avenue Ale for my spouse and I had the Red Brick Station Flight followed up by a Pumpkin Spice Ale for dessert. Got to have that! Service was quick and our server Kristi H. was so pleasant and friendly. She actually put up with my humor aka Pumpkin Ale was my dessert. Her smile was so worth the stop. Here is a warning two hungry and thirsty traveling will be stopping again. The brewery/ restaurant is an old Firehouse decor from the area. So worth the stop!

I got the Three Pint Pasta ($20), which they warn you on the menu is supposed to be very spicy. It has a curry sauce, chicken, and shrimp. It was not as spicy as I was expecting. In fact, I think the flavor of the curry really overpowered the entire dish. The Crab Pretzel ($20) was more cheese these crab, so that was a bummer. The Pear Martini and Orange Crush were good. The service was okay. I felt like our server had a bit of an attitude. The ambiance is very casual. I think I would come back for drinks. The food did seem to be lacking.

Really good nachos: thick chips and freshly made salsa!

I'm surprised this (currently) has a 3* rating. Went on Monday night and we were able to walk into a decently buzzing place and get a spot at the bar where people were also cycling in and out. Even for the chips and salsa, alone, I'm a fan of this place. Thick salted chips, and freshly made salsa hit the spot for me! Fish sandwich was a good-sized portion. Cole slaw (subbed for fries) was a good balance of mayo vs vinegar and also fresh. The burger was good, I hear. Also juicy. Mushrooms didn't have much flavor...a little salt/pepper went a long way. Twas nice to sub the fries for broccoli (a little overcooked but not terrible). So, back to this overall rating. Is this a fine dining establishment? No. Is it a solid bar with good food, fair prices and friendly, attentive service? YES! We've been before and sat out on their patio, which was great. They also have a large dining room. With great nightly specials (Monday was 50% off burgers) and an established, family-owned restaurant, what's not to love?!

I was leary about coming here when I read a few reviews. However, it was a pleasant experience. The two people at the hostess stand was not immediately attentive but was seated once acknowledged. Our server, Dina is a joy! She is great throughout the night. My friend ordered the French Onion soup because it hit and it was so cold inside. She said it was too much cheese. Her entree selection was Chicken & Broccoli Pasta. It was just okay. It was missing seasoning. I ordered both RBS Traditional Wings with sweet & tangy and ranch and the special Chicken Fajita Tacos. The sweet & tangy was a great flavor but the wings themselves needed seasoning. The tacos were tasty and filling. I could've passed on the wings. The restroom was decent. It was super busy by the bar. It

Beer was gross and service was mediocre at best. Bartender had very limited knowledge of drinks and seemed bothered to be asked.

We ended up parking in the neighborhood across the street. There is a busy Happy Hour going on around 5:30 which is great. The Emerald Tavern has a bit of Irish-ness about it with a few Brit food options on the menu like fish and chips and shepherd's pie. We sat at the bar and were pleased to find a beer menu! The beer selection was varied and included some local options. They also have a wide selection of beer on tap and in bottles and cans. I was not expecting that. The food menu was also much larger than I would have expected. They have just about everything here. I had the chicken quesadilla (it came with salsa and sour cream) and my husband had the cheesesteak special which was only $6! All of the prices on the menu were very reasonable. We also had the pretzel bite which were good if not a little greasy. The quesadilla and cheesesteak were really good! Service at the bar was fast and friendly. They have live music here on the weekends but we left long before the band started setting up because we are old.

They have one pool table where APA league members usually play, a shuffle board, and a number of TVs for sports games (although they are not HD). I could tell this was a local go-to for many of the customers at this bar especially since they all seemed to know each other. Our bartender was very friendly with helping us decide what to order. We got the Belly Buster Fried Fish sub ($8.99), with a side of fries (an extra $2) and Italian Cold Cut ($9.50), with a side of chips (free), along with a Loose Cannon ($5.00) & Grapefruit Crush ($6.00). The subs were pretty good. The fried cod (I believe it was) was nice and crispy and the tartar sauce paired perfectly to cut the richness of the grease. The portion was definitely money's worth. The cold cuts in my sub were fresh. There was enough acid to not make the bread soggy. The grapefruit crush was very icy. I noticed the bartender made it by blending a grapefruit fruit cup with ice and some grapefruit-vodka. When I was done with my first drink, she poured the rest of the mixture from the blender into my glass, which I thought was very nice. All in all, dugout tavern is a hidden gem that has great food and service. There is also parking on site and outdoor seating.

The Chicken Parmesan sandwich I had last night was on point and my girlfriend had a very good chicken quesadilla as well. Prices are pretty reasonable. My only beef is with the service. The bar is a little "cliquey" from several observations. The regulars seem to get waited on immediately and a newcomer gets a "I'll be right with you". No placemats, no silverware, no napkins seems to be the norm. Had to ask for ketchup when my fries came out after getting chips by mistake. We will most likely go back though, especially since The Bird River Inn changed their whole menu and did away with most of our favorite menu items. Everything is smoked now and very salty. If you're looking for ambience, you may want to try somewhere else. The Dugout is a hole in the wall dive bar and has been for decades...just the way the regulars like it!

The entire place has been updated and expanded and there is still more work in progress. We arrived around five on a very busy St. Patrick's for dinner. We were meeting very good friends and were excited to spend some time together. The decor was so fun and the place was hopping. Even though all of the staff seemed to be extremely busy, we were allowed to wait for a table that would seat us comfortably while being a bit out of the way of the hubbub. The redone U-shaped bar area is very large with plenty of seating at the bar and around it. There are multiple long, high top tables too. The other side of the restaurant is filled with booths and tables with plenty of room to accommodate any size party. I saw tables that fit at least 10 people there. There is also an outdoor area that is under construction, but looks like it will be a very nice addition to the bar. Now on to the food and the drinks. They had so many specials for St. Patrick's Day and a large variety of them too rather than just the typical corned beef and cabbage or Ruben's. They had lots of other Irish delicacies like shepherds pie, and bangers and mash. They had all kinds of drink specials, including green margaritas, Guinness, and lots of other fancy drinks to choose from. They have plenty of beers on top and basically a full bar where you can get anything to wet your whistle. I had a two guys burger, which was basically a bacon cheeseburger, and it was cooked to perfection (not to mention it was probably close to a half pound of ground beef on that burger) along with some fries and a salad. My friend had a Reuben, which she thought was very good. My husband who loves hot turkey sandwiches ended up getting one of those and a side salad too. It was made with fresh turkey and we all know how that kicks it up a notch. Other friend got the meatloaf, which was good, but there was cheese on top and he wasn't a big fan of that. They have daily specials with lots to choose from. We had the $1 wings and were delighted with the many choices of sauces. There were so many customers coming in constantly for their carry out, too. Everything was fresh. The prices were great. Everything was very tasty and the atmosphere was fun without being too noisy. We can't wait to go back and try it again soon.
