When we were first looking for videographers, some people told us that the video wasn't important - that we would never watch our wedding video again. I didn't think that would be true because I know there are certain emotions you can only capture on tape and that there would be things we wouldn't get to see or appreciate from our wedding day unless we captured it on video. I started off by looking at some of the "tried and true" Bay Area cinematographers that had been around for a long time. They had some good work out there but somehow it didn't feel fresh or genuine. Sigmund and his photography team did an AMAZING job on our engagement shoot. They were patient and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. There are so many great reviews and so I hope I'm able to add something different and useful: Looking back, I can't recall how we found Reb6, but they certainly left an impression on us as we were searching for videographers for our wedding. They were one of the first vendors we contacted but we wanted to do our due diligence in finding a videographer. From the videographers we looked at, their price range fell in the middle high range of our budget. In the end, we kept comparing all the other videographers to them and decided that our decision had always been made. From the moment of 1st contact, Sigmund was extremely responsive with email. Their responsiveness stood out numerous times, particularly during planning and upon receiving our dvds, despite my own shortcomings in checking & responding to emails/mail. Come wedding day, they arrived during our morning preparations and were non-intrusive and pleasant to have around--yet unnoticeable at the same time. They communicated and worked extremely well with our photographer. At our venue, they were set up and ready to go. They coordinated well with other vendors and had their end organized and flawless. Our videographer was an aspect of our wedding we did not have to worry or even think about. Upon receiving our DVDs, we noticed the music from the ceremony was a bit muffled. We emailed them about our concern, and they promptly responded. We were able to send them the original mp3s and they inserted them and sent us the new version. I thought it would take weeks and forgot about it. I checked my email a few weeks later and realized that they had done it within days of our email exchange! With our short film, they ask if there is a preference to choose the music used or to leave it to them. Considering that everything else had been so great, we left it to them, though the unknown is always a bit worrisome. They delivered. One of our speakers during our ceremony quoted lyrics from Proclaimers/I'm Gonna Be. In our film, they used an amazing rendition of the song I had never heard before. It was perfect! In fact, all the music they chose for our short film and documentary footage were fantastic. Our video captured the day wonderfully and we have gotten nothing but rave reviews on our video from friends, family and strangers. It was very professional and a lot of care and thought was put into it. Thanks for making us look good! =) If you're looking to have a short turnaround for your product, I will advise that they may not be your fit. We were in no rush. Our DVD came roughly 8.5 months after our wedding. However, the product reflects the time. This is advice for wedding planning when having any videographer: One regret we have is that we didn't invest in lighting for our dance floor. Dancing was a bulk of our reception and we didn't have very good dance footage after the lights went out. read more

We had a family event that certain family members could not attend at the last moment, so we decided to film it. Despite the short notice, I was able to hire Reb6 Studios to film the event. The family members hosting the event commented repeatedly that the filmers were incredibly professional throughout the event, and that they didn't get in the way of the event at all. They set everything up timely and completed the editing of the piece promptly. They mailed a DVD of the event in addition to posting it to youtube per my request so that family members abroad could view the event. What they filmed had great audio and gave a true sense of the event in its entirety. The price was reasonable, extremely fair for services received. Extremely positive experience working with Sig! We've hired Reb6studios two times, both for videography & photos for a musical performance. The goal was to generate short clips for a demo reel. Sig was very helpful before the day-of in identifying the types of clips we wanted. He arrived early at the performance location to check in and confirm what shots we wanted to get. During the performance Sig filmed from a variety of angles and used intuition to capture scenes we didn't even know we wanted (of the crowd, for example). He used a gimbal mounted camera with a kind of handheld crane that generated some really impressive and professional looking video clips. We requested no editing on the clips, just the raw files, and delivery time on the files was within a week or so. In summary, Sig exceeded our expectations for documenting this event, and we highly recommend Sig for videography/photography! read more

Sig and his team are amazing! They were recommended by our wedding planner and we're so glad we booked them. They take a really unique and thoughtful approach to videography that really captures the essence of your wedding events. My whole family was super impressed with our highlights video and even the parts of the speeches, ceremony, etc that were included clearly showed that they understood the vibe and mood we were going for. They are also awesome to work with on the day of- ie handing us water bottles in the middle of our photo shoot, checking in on us, etc. My only constructive piece of feedback is that they took much longer than most other videographers to put our videos together (~10 months) whereas many of my friends had theirs within 4-6 months. I can stand by my 5-star rating. I just wish we added a highlight or teaser to our package because I would love to see what Reb6 would come up with but it wasn't in our budget. I honestly didn't know how I felt at first because it was so...personal? It's always awkward hearing and seeing yourself (especially seeing your ugly cry face and voice) lol...but as I kept watching it, it grew on me and I knew that this is how it should be. I just wasn't prepared to witness the intimacy that they captured while viewing it with my parents either (typical non-affectionate Asian culture in the house) However, the level of intimacy and personality they captured is definitely a good thing and what you want out of a wedding film. They do a phenomenal job of capturing the personal and heartfelt moments that you didn't even think about. We had a lot of elements to our busy big day and Reb 6 was able to capture the quiet, reflective moments throughout the chaos. There was a lot of unique and sentimental touches captured in our film that also took me by surprise. Going back to the beginning... when Chris and I got engaged in March 2012 I told him I wanted to hire the best videographer there was -- but with so many wedding vendors out there I didn't know where to start or who to trust. He was personable, kind, and understood our vision as a young couple. OMG!!! Where do I start. Sigmund, his wife and crew were A-mazing!! They were our videographers for our wedding back in July 2014. Communication from the day we booked them was great!
