Dom and team went above and beyond!! We went with these guys because it was an awesome balance between price and quality. During the wedding day, they did not get in the way at all. They were super friendly, practically invisible, and collaborated with our photographer so we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was exactly what we wanted to be hands off and trust them with everything. When they created and shared the first highlight video soon after our wedding, it was very dramatic and really captured some of the best moments of our wedding night. Dom and his team were fantastic to work with! He captured everything that my husband and I wanted to be captured! From the beginning, Dom was super communicative and clear. His prices are also more than fair. Our highlight video was perfect. I cried watching it out of happiness (and so did a few others!) The level of care and detail that Dom put into our highlight video was evident and more than I could have asked for. My husband and I said our vows to each other at our first look, privately. I asked Dom to include that in our video and he did. The way that Dom edited our vows to fit the visuals in the video was perfect. Not only did we get the highlight video, but we also got videos of every speech, reception entrance, dancing, cake cutting, and ceremony. On the day of the wedding, Dom and his team were so professional. I highly recommend Dom and his team for your wedding video needs! read more

I rarely give 5-star reviews, but this videographer hits all facets of an amazing business and more importantly he will document your special moment for an unbeatable price! He is very professional and makes the whole process feels special. We were never left in the dark not knowing what was going on--all bases were discussed/covered. When you're planning a wedding, many things can go wrong, but rest assured that if you go with this company, you'll be satisfied with paying whatever he charges! I got married in August 2017 and planning was fun. I had no idea where to start searching for a videographer and Yelp, thankfully, led me to VDO. Dom set up an appointment with us, he invited us into his well-furnished home, and we had a discussion about everything. He was very hospitable providing us with water and making sure we were comfortable. He walked us through how everything will go down and even threw in a bunch of "extras." He was very accommodating and understanding of our desires. My wife and I were in awe while watching the video he produced for our wedding and we look forward to watching it 50 years from now! Where do we begin when we are talking about Dom and the amazing BAY AREA VDO team? Dom's creativity, passion and professionalism made for an overall amazing experience and top notch end product that will last for years to come. OVERALL SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION Overall, the quality of service was above and beyond anything we expected. We booked the team just one month prior to our wedding and they were still available, which told us it was 'meant to be.' From the first email outreach Dom was timely and thorough in his responses, often returning our emails within minutes. When it came to handling payments we did have to do it the old fashion way (via check and snail mail) but Dom does accept CC in person. THE BIG DAY On the day of our wedding, Dom and his team showed up early to get setup at the hotel for the 'getting ready' portion of our day. While we were getting ready (in separate rooms) we hardly noticed they were there. When they did need us to do something they were very polite with their requests. One thing we really loved was their flexibility throughout the day. At one point one of my brides mates came up with the idea of doing the "mannequin challenge" during our photo session, and Dom was all over it and even delivered the finished product the day after the wedding, SO SWEET! A wedding day can be hectic, so you have to be ready to roll with the punches, and have vendors like Dom and his team that are ready and willing to do the same. THE FINAL PACKAGE! We went to pick up the final product in person. Dom was so warm and inviting and calm as we came with our young daughter and toddler nephew. We watched our highlight video with Dom and the kids and cried together. Dom is a true artist with the ability to capture the essence of your big day and more importantly the dynamics of the love between you and your partner. He ended up adding a song to the list we provided because he just "felt it" and again the end result was flawless. We watched all the footage from our wedding (about 5 hours) the day we received it. (Our Highlight Video: https://vimeo.com/216401564) PERKS of choosing BAY ARA VDO over others we searched: -YOU GET TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN MUSIC, which was huge for us since allows a certain level of uniqueness for your video over the millions of others you see online. -They offer 1/2 and 1/2 payment, where you pay 1/2 cost prior to the wedding and the other 1/2 (remaining balance) when your video package is delivered. AND the prices are reasonable for what you receive the day of and in your final package. -Great communication and organization -Knowledge and experience to give you the best end product and really tell your story - A level of kindness and genuineness that you hope for when making such an important investment. Thank you Dom for being so awesome! Love, Mrs + Mrs Easton read more

My now-husband and I kept going back and forth on whether or not to spend the not-inconsiderable amount that a wedding DVD package costs. Finally, we decided that we really wanted that memento of our big day, and hired Bay Area VDO. We couldn't have made a better decision. Dom and his team arrived promptly at both locations where we were getting ready, and followed us to the wedding venue. They captured every moment from our first look to our last dance, and yet never felt intrusive. A couple months later, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a link to the trailer for our video. The 4-minute clip was beautiful and touching; it even moved my boss to tears when she saw it. We ordered the Gold package, and were thrilled when we received it. Every special moment from the day was in there, mixed with music we had selected. Best of all, we were able to take a DVD with us at Thanksgiving so my grandparents (whose health had precluded them from traveling to the wedding) could watch it. A treasured memory of watching treasured memories. Dom and his team are professional, personable, and passionate about their work. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I can't speak enough about Dom and his team! It was like they weren't even there but captured every heartfelt moment! Referred by a friend of mine who spoke highly about their experience with Dom's talents for their wedding, I had to have Dom video my wedding. He definitely exceeded what it was that I was expecting! Literally left my husband, family, friends, & myself speechless! As I sat there watching the films, it brought back incredible memories that I can now forever cherish on video and I am forever grateful for that! Dom was very welcoming, personable, professional, & put our best interest at heart when creating the videos. If my husband and I could do it all over again, we wouldn't even blink before asking Dom to capture these wonderful moments for us. My family loved him, my friends loved him, people I don't even know LOVED the videos, & I'm pretty sure my "highlight film" & "funny film" are going viral on the Internet as we speak as I have heard nothing but amazing comments from friends, family, friends of family, etc on how great the quality of the videos were. If I can ever recommend Dom to anyone, I most certainly will as him and his team were the best to work with! A million thank you's Dom!!!! read more

As we were planning our wedding, we never factored in a wedding videographer into our budget. However, after long debate with our families we decided that it was imperative to get video because truth be told, the day goes by so fast, that we will never have an opportunity to relive those moments in time. My wife and I tend to cross reference everything we purchase so when it came to finding a videographer, Bay Area VDO Production was actually one of many possible videographers we considered. After meeting Dom in person, we were both sold. His professionalism, promptness, and easy to get along with attitude made us both feel at ease in our decision. He also was happy to work within our budget. After our meeting, I remember telling my wife how happy and confident I feel with Dom and I think it was one of the better decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Weeks before the wedding, Dom would send us emails reminding us of song selections and always asking us if we had any other requests or questions. I appreciated the fact that he was on top of this and it made our lives a little easier without having to worry about something else for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Dom and his assistant showed up on time and began filming. They filmed the entire day and were not intrusive. Most of the time, we even forgot that they were there filming! After the honeymoon, Dom provided our wedding footage and music video on time as promised. The packaging was beautiful as well! Dom has an amazing talent and was able to edit the raw footage into a wonderful edited video for us. He used mostly music that we selected, and it all blended together so nicely! The music video montage was excellent as well. He knows how to draw the viewers into the moment as if they were living it. I can not stop watching our wedding music video. I feel like I am in my own movie and it's a great feeling. Dom definitely exceeded my expectations and we both love our wedding footage. Thank you Dom! I would highly recommend him to anyone planning on a wedding. I understand that most couples don't even consider a wedding videographer because its just something that often gets overlooked due to the importance placed on getting your wedding photographed. However, Dom stands out in the crowd with his ability to capture these priceless moments in time and years from now we will always relive those emotions as we watch our wedding footage and someday we can share that with our children. Thanks again Dom. Win and I are very happy with everything!! read more

5 stars? Is there anyway to give more? They captured our love, joy, and support on our Wedding Day. I moved from LA area to Sacramento and my wedding was going to be in Modesto. I've searched videographers in the Sacramento-Stockton area, but no one had the type of style I wanted. It got to the point where I was searching LA videographers to come up, until I looked in the bay and found Bay Area VDO Production. The quality of work they've done motivated me to contact them. The price was a little bit expensive than I wanted, but I liked the idea of their payment plan where you pay half before the wedding then pay the other half once they're done with you're video. I contacted Dom and met at his apartment where he showed more samples of his work. With each video, he brought out emotion from the audience. I was crying and it wasn't even my video! Dom was a pleasure to work with. He was professional and passionate. He listened to what we wanted him to capture during our wedding. He's great at communicating through email which I appreciated. But with all that said, my husband and I were very happy with our video. When we went to see the final product, the highlight video made me cry bc capturing a 4-5hr Cambodian ceremony is not easy! They captured details and edited beautifully. I was beyond thankful that the video came out way better than I imagined! Dom and his team did a great job capturing every moment of our wedding and I cannot express how thankful I am for him and his team to do this in the middle of SUMMER. Dom and his team brought out happy tears from every person that viewed the video and complimented the nice flow of the video. All their effort could be seen on our video and I appreciate them for doing this. They did a great job and would recommend them for every wedding! read more

Dom and his team were really professional and made it stress-free for us. They captured the special moments in our wedding that we will now be able to look back to. I am so happy I went with Dom and Bay area VDO Production. All of the details and effort that was put into the wedding were captured and highlighted in the final video. The amount of attention and care that went into creating the final product was so abundantly clear. Dom went above and beyond what the contract stipulated and we are so grateful for the work that went into the edited videos (yes, plural- videoS) we received. Wedding planning was difficult with COVID regulations, but Dom was flexible with our scheduling and we agreed to have our larger wedding reception captured a year after our ceremony date. Since we didn't have an official videographer for our ceremony (much smaller event that was ultimately captured on video by numerous cell phones), we opted to read our vows to each other at the reception so that it could be captured on film. Not only was the final product absolutely stunning, our cell phone footage from our "part 1" was edited and added to it. I fully recommend anyone who needs a videographer to go with this company. Affordable, flexible, great quality, and amazing service. Thank you Dom and team for capturing this day for us! I have never written a Yelp review before but I have to write one for Dom and his team because of their amazing work! When you first meet Dom for a consult, you immediately feel comfortable with him-he is so easy to talk to. He sincerely wants to learn about the two of you in order to help him make the best video he possibly can. He listens to every request you make and follows through. I was so surprised at the amount of footage his team got because on the day of, you don't even realize that they are there. They were very good at capturing moments without you feeling like they were in the way or in your face. When it came to editing, Dom lets you choose your own music for your videos. He breaks down the day into chapters and does a wonderful job of editing the footage to capture the emotion to go with the customized music. If you aren't happy with anything, he will edit it until you are completely satisfied with the final cut. All in all, Dom and his team went above and beyond what I anticipated for my wedding video and I would recommend them to anyone. We love our videos so much! read more

Our wedding took place in Feb 2017. Hiring Dom and his team was the best decision to capture those special moments from the wedding. One would think that photos are enough, but that's not true. Dom truly captured the emotions from our day and those special moments that our photographer missed. When my husband and I visited Dom at his studio home and viewed our wedding music video I was amazed at the quality of his work and how his team captured those sweetest moments of my husband and I holding each other, the speeches, the joy, laughter and smiles. My wife and I worked with Dom and the rest of the Bay Area VDO team after being very impressed with their work for another wedding. We weren't originally sure about getting a videographer for our wedding, but after seeing the quality of work that Dom does, we were both very motivated to hire Bay Area VDO for our wedding. Dom is easy-going, professional, and truly showed a genuine desire to create a unique experience for us. He was meticulous with the preparation process, walking us through schedules, formats, and asking us about our preferences. On the day of, Dom and his crew executed a swift and disciplined operation. Dom provided us with a highlight video which was great to share quickly with friends and family, and also a much longer DVD that captured all the elements of the day. The inherent value in having all of the wedding recorded is that my wife and I were able to watch all the parts of the wedding that we had planned, but weren't actually there due to wedding day activities. Dom and his team of hardworking videographers are AMAZING! What's there to say about Bay Area VDO that hasn't already been said... Repeatedly time and time again?!?! Dom took us into his private space, shared his life's passions with us, and some time later presented us with an irreplaceable wedding gift. He's a video artist with a mastery of his digital craft 2nd only to his passion for capturing your special moment. I can't even begin to imagine the effort and energy that he put into creating our wedding masterpiece. There were no surprises about how he does his thing and puts it all together. He told us what to expect; that the process would take time for him to properly massage the countless hours of raw footage into something magical. When it was all said and done, he called us over to show us a little bit of everything on the 4 dvds. I was literally tearing up, it was like I was watching it all over again through new eyes. Dom, if you're reading this, I just want you to know how much we appreciate everything you've done for us. And we look forward to trying out all your Bangkok food suggestions! read more

After picking up our wedding video, we found out what others were talking about. The difference it made to see a video of your own wedding, especially one with great editing and camera angles. Also with excellent attention to details We had literally a whole day long wedding and Dom and his crew was able to catch just about every minute of it, without getting in the way. From 6am to 11pm at night, while most people were half asleep, they were still hard at work. Very friendly and professional. It took Dom just as long as he stated to have the videos ready, so we didn't have to wait too long. After the wedding, Dom kept in contact with us many times to keep us updated. Any questions were answered promptly. Also any requests to the videos were taken care of. The lengh of the videos were just the right amount, not too short, but not very long. The best part is that the raw footage was included. Think of it like those "behind the scene bloopers" shows you see on tv. You may think raw footage won't be useful, but we had several good laughs watching several hours of it. Best of all, they record in high definition. Thanks Dom, Bay Area VDO will be recommended to all. read more
