This review is WAY overdue. We first heard about REB6Studios when our friend had them as her videographer for her wedding and her video was absolutely stunning. We fell in love with REB6's emotional storytelling style and we were instantly sold. We originally planned to have a wedding with 200+ guests in December 2020. Unfortunately, COVID was surging during that time, so we decided to downsize to a microwedding. We continued to work with the majority of our vendors including REB6Studios. Our experience with Sig and his team was exceptional and the final product will be cherished for a lifetime. When we changed venues and significantly reduced our guest list, Sig was very understanding and accommodating given our situation. We mainly communicated via email and he was always responsive, helpful, and professional. On the day of the wedding, Sig and Mariane were very detail oriented, adhered to the wedding timeline, gave incredible direction, and worked well with our photographer. When we received our highlights video, we were blown away. It was like watching a movie of our wedding day and it perfectly captured all the emotions and events of the day. The editing and production value were of the highest quality. We also opted to get the ceremony cut so all our friends and family who were unable to attend would be able to watch the big day. I highly recommend REB6Studios! My wife and I got married in July 2021. We booked REB6Studios for our wedding because after watching their films you can tell they have everything you'd want in a wedding video: all the emotional and fun moments captured with amazing cinematography, perfect music and tearjerking storytelling. We received our wedding video earlier than expected and it blew us away. All the shots were beautiful, carefully put together with many details weaved into the film. REB6Studios even incorporated audio from the speeches, and the bride and groom letter readings from before the ceremony. Reb6Studios is amazing! I got married July 2021 and Sig and Mariane were super fun and easy to work with! They're extremely experienced and their packages are reasonably priced. I see them as masters of capturing both the emotions of a wedding day and also the fun/excitement that happens as well! As filmmakers, they know when to stay in the background to get those perfect shots to capture all the events (and with the perfect angles,) but they're also hands-on with their direction for when it's time to pose for super cool footage with the bridal party and bride and groom! Even though my wedding day was very busy, my husband and I were so comfortable with Sig and Mariane by our side. Another important thing is they work so well with photographers. I noticed Sig and Mariane were so nice to the photographers and they instantly had great chemistry. Also, when the photographers had my husband and I do poses, Sig and Mariane were also able to get those poses in their video shots as well. They work so well as a team even with other people! Our bridal party and our guests also had a blast being a part in the videos as well. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen enjoyed all the shots we filmed together which were all memorable moments thanks to Reb6. In addition to our video package, my husband and I opted to get their Instagram Teaser add-ons and were blown away. Not only was Reb6Studios quick with their editing, but the quality of their work is of amazing and top-of-the-line. In their teasers they were able to showcase all the feelings we had as bride and groom as well as how fun the wedding was and all the excitement from our guests. .Initially, we didn't budget for a videographer because we weren't sure if we would watch the video. When asking our friends it's a split 50/50 on "yes, get it" vs "no, I don't watch mine." It wasn't until about a month before our wedding, all the details that had occupied my mind for the last year, I can sort of envision.. I knew I needed to visually see it encompassed together. From the little touches that were so minor (I don't even know if anyone caught them) to the big events, our friend officiated our wedding, we wrote our own vows... Reb6 went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! Our photographer recommended several videographers to Christian and I and we immediately started our research. The very first website we went to was Reb6. I read their website and decided to watch one of their videos. I literally CRIED after watching the very FIRST one! Having a good videophotographer was high on my priority list. My husband and I were looking for a team that can not only capture all the key moments but also sequence them to tell a good story. REB6 studio's videos immediately stood out among some of the famous (and pricey) videophotographers in the Bay Area. They were incredibly easy to work with and fast to respond to questions. We just got our wedding video back and we love it! It strings together how the mood transitions throughout the day and the background music selection was perfect! Only deducting one star because it took us 6 months (usually it's 8-10 months per standard contract) to get our video back which is longer than most. But! Being that we do not live in the bay area, we were extremely anxious about finding a wedding videographer. After what seemed like countless hours of yelp searching, and various wedding websites reviews we narrowed down our list. However, what sold us on Reb6 was the quality of their sample work that they posted. Each video seemed to tell a beautiful story unique to the couple that was presented like a mini movie that had you craving for more and ended with the line 'it must be dusty in here'. Setting up the appointment was very easy. We called Reb6 and our angst were put at ease by Sig who calmly explained the whole process as well as asked us multiple questions so that he could understand what our vision was for the big day. We decided to go with the package that included a pre-engagement photo shoot. The Pre-engagement photo shoot was scheduled for Saturday and we had set up various locations for the shoot. The camera crew arrived on time, they were very friendly and helpful and explained what would happen throughout the whole process. They were very patient with providing instructions, despite my best attempts at channeling my inner Cindy Crawford. I am really glad that the crew are flexible enough to make changes on the fly, since we decided to change our location at the last minute. Overall, I could not be happy with my experience so far. The photos taken were unbelievable. I still have no idea how they can take a photo of myself and make it look like it belongs in a magazine. We love Reb6studios! To be honest, my husband and I weren't even sure if we wanted to budget for a wedding videographer. Most times, we found wedding videos to be a bit cheesy and hastily produced and if you really wanted something good -- it would cost an arm and a leg. Luckily for us, that was not the case with Reb6studios. Sigmund, Mariane and the entire team truly are masters at what they do and for the artistry that they produce, I'd say it's quite a reasonable price (especially since we've done our research in looking at other options in the Bay Area). Perfection. Add me to the list of perfect 5 star-reviews! Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how much work and effort is involved, and it's the best feeling ever when your vendor puts your mind at ease and delivers beyond what you could ever imagine. I'm a big fan of referrals, and when my friend showed me her highlight video by Reb6Studios, I knew I had to use them. Within a matter of 2-3 email exchanges with Sigmund, I booked with them immediately because I knew that their schedule would quickly fill up. Email responses were super quick, and they were always very professional and courteous. On the day of my wedding, I remember meeting Sigmund first followed by 2 of his team members. They were quick to introduce themselves, and went straight to work- borrowing my dress, jewelry, etc. They coordinated well with my photographer and made everything seamless. I basically let them do everything without any guidance, from shooting of the wedding to editing of the film. You really don't have time to coordinate on your wedding day, and after the wedding - you just want to veg out! We ordered a next day highlight video in addition to our wedding package, and we got notification of the video while were on our honeymoon. With extremely weak internet, we were so sad that we couldn't view the video. I went ahead and posted it on FB anyway to let friends see it first, and we just watched one by one..all the likes, loves, and comments. If only we could see it... Finally we saw it, and our feature film was so much fun- we were laughing and crying at the same time. I was so shocked to see all the extra pieces of footage that you never knew existed. Transitions were flawless, music choice was perfect, editing and commentary amount was just right. The bride and groom could only be in one spot at one time, so it was very exciting to see what else was going on in our wedding. Sig and his crew are like little ninjas because I hardly remember seeing them on the wedding, yet the film caught so much detail. We have a few more months before the full wedding video comes out, but we have confidence that it will blow us away once again. Reb6studios was my wedding photographer and videographer! Choosing Reb6, was one of the most important decisions during the wedding planning process. Weddings take months and months to plan and then the special day is over in a day! So finding the right vendor to capture those moments that you'll keep for a lifetime was essential. We were lucky to be able to book them, because they are in high demand and our friends that referred us had wanted to reserve them wasn't able to in time for their wedding. Of all the videographers we researched, we were impressed by how Reb6 makes each couples' love story unique with personal moments, music and great editing. We first met Sigmund and Kevin at our engagement shoot in SF. They were both so personable and friendly. We didn't know what to expect. But it was one of the highlights of our wedding year, it was so much fun, we felt like models for the day. Reb6 really wanted to capture our love story and make our pictures personal to us. We had several outfit changes which included us wearing our running singlets from our respective teams. You can tell they really take their work seriously and they took their time to get the right shots they were looking for. Like many couples, we were initially uncertain with getting videography for our wedding. Now that we have our films back from Reb6, we are so glad that we did. Reb6 did a wonderful job capturing our day. The feature film they put together for us was just beautiful, but we're especially grateful for the edited documentary DVD that came with our package. Seeing the parts of the wedding that we weren't able to be fully present for -- like people arriving and the cocktail hour -- was just a delight. There were even parts of the wedding that we didn't get to see night of -- like relatives and family on the dance floor. Sig was super responsive, friendly and professional from the onset. On the wedding day, he and his team showed up on time and were easy to work with and totally unobtrusive. They had enough confidence to just let us do our thing without making us nervous or staging things too much. We just received the highlights video and were very happy with the storytelling. My biggest ask was that the video not be too sappy, as that just wasn't us. What Sig and team sent to us was artistic, touching and romantic without being cheesy. I'm not a particularly demonstrative person and am also extremely private. Somehow Reb6 managed to show how happy and in love we were without seeming like they were intruding on a private moment. The drone videography portion was also spectacular, as the venue we had was screaming for an aerial shot. My wife and I got married 2 months ago, and all we have to say is WOW! Reb6Studios is the new standard for Wedding Videography. I have to be honest, as my wife and I were planning for our wedding, I was debating whether we really need a Videographer. Deciding on having Reb6 was one of the best decisions we've made. This crew is simply awesome! I've been part of wedding events and photo shoots in the past, but this crew made it so much fun! The morning of our wedding as I was getting ready, they showed up ready to rock and roll. They looked around, saw several props, and knew exactly what to do. There were even a few shots/poses where I was saying to myself, "why am I doing this?" Later, to find out as we saw the snippets, I then knew. This crew is soo creative! We also had a photographer "Alfred and Emma Photography" for the wedding. It helped that Reb6 and Emma/Alfred worked with each other in past events. They have really good chemistry with each other. I have to admit, I was overwhelmed with the amount of attention and poses, but it i can't express how much fun it was. They mic'd me up for the procession, so I felt like a celebrity. Sigmund and the Reb6 team have a special talent. Their videos literally move you and can bring you back to that moment, even if you weren't there! When I began looking for my videographer and photographer, one of my requirements is that I need someone that can make me go "awwwww", and let me tell ya, all their videos made me go "awwwww"... it's like watching a compilation of the best tear jerkers. Sigmund was extremely patient with me and was even more responsive. We must have exchanged over 50 emails before I met with them in person. When I booked Reb6, I had to actually convince my fiance and justify the importance of paying for videography (my fiance doesn't value videography much-crazy, I know). Once I sat him down to watch some Reb6 videos, that was all he needed. He was so amazed that he even shared some of their links to his colleagues... never did I think he would go that far, lol. Sig and his team were awesome to work with. They took time to get to know my wife and I and also what we wanted in a wedding film. I'm assuming there needs to be a lot of research work done prior to the wedding day and Sig and team definitely did their research. On the wedding day, they were very punctual and professional. They were able to direct certain shots that would be great for the film. During the parts of the wedding that could only be shot once they captured it beautifully. I don't even remember seeing them during the wedding, which is a good thing, very spy-esque! The film came out amazing. My wife and I loved it. We'll be watching this for years to come! While planning my wedding, I never thought of hiring a videographer. As a wedding present, my sister hired REB6Studios to record my entire wedding day. What convinced her was watching their all amazing wedding videos on her website. Wedding day came and I met Sigmund and Mariane for the first time. They were friendly, polite, organized, time efficient, and very professional. Throughout the hectic day, they made sure to find breaks for us to take our solo videos for the highlights film. Despite the crazy 10 hour day of shooting, at the end of the night they even surprised us by sending us an edited video of our wedding reception doing the harlem shake! A few months later we received our videos and they are beyond amazing! The highlights/feature film captured all the emotions and best moments of the day and I can't stop crying every time I watch it! I am very impressed how their videos captured all the decorations and little details. Going into wedding planning, having a cinematographer was one of the things I really wanted, but knew that it wasn't top priority since 1) they're quite pricey 2) there were other things that had to come first. After stumbling upon Reb6Studios site, I knew I had to make it happen for our big day. Literally every single video moved me to tears. This couple has an eye and ear for what's involved in a wedding day. They take the best and most memorable moments and capture them into one video so well and so creatively. Upon booking a videographer, we had contacted several companies, checked out websites, and viewed many sample videos from videographers across the Bay Area. Sigmund and his wife did an absolutely amazing job shooting my proposal to my girlfriend. Since it was a surprise they did a great job of filming while they were trying to hide from my gf. When we were planning our wedding, we watched a LOT of online videos of other weddings to get an idea of how we wanted our special day to be. We happened to stumble upon the website of Reb6Studios and just absolutely loved their videos! We did a little more research and shopping around on the interwebs and finally decided that Reb6 would be our best option based on price, quality and availability. We contacted Sigmund by filling out a little questionnaire on their website. Booking, deposits and payments were pretty easy through Google Wallet. We communicated mostly via email and they were good with answering any questions we might have had, and questions we never thought of asking. We aren't the most creative of peoples, so we trusted their creative prowess to make our video memorable and original. The day of our wedding was made less stressful by Sigmund and his crew. They were there (in Monterey) early and coordinated well with our wedding coordinator and our still photographers. Right from the get go, they went out of their way to stay out of our way =) They were able to get some great footage of all of the important parts of the wedding. Our wedding was in September, and the CDs and DVDs were delivered in March. Not too bad, considering other friends of ours waited nearly a year for theirs from other vendors. All in all, we are very satisfied with the service and products we received from Sigmund, his wife Mariane, and the rest of the Reb6 crew.
