From the beginning, Carly was responsive and flexible, even squeezing us in on a busy day in between her other clients when we were hoping for a certain weekend. On the day of our photo shoot, my son got car sick and threw up all over himself and his 'nice clothes' and was crying (red puffy eyes). Then we arrived in the City and the beautiful Fall late afternoon photo shoot we'd hoped for was completely and totally fogged in, cold, gray and windy. You could seriously only see about 6 feet of the bottom of the bridge! I wanted to turn around and go home under the covers. Carly was so positive and upbeat and got us all in a better mood fast. She took us to a few different locations and had us pose in candid ways and we were all laughing a few minutes in. I was hopeful for one picture that we could use from that day. Well, less than a week later than our session, she emailed me our pictures and I was totally and completely blown away by how good they were! There were about 20 that I really really liked. Everyone looked really good with 'real smiles' and you would never know it was actually a super gray, crying, yucky cold day. She is super talented, worked quickly and professionally and was super nice. Not only is she wonderful, but her work and the pictures were really great. The lighting looked good, smiles were genuine and different backgrounds she used turned out great (although never did get my whole bridge picture because of the fog, but we can always try again with Carly next year!)

They were trying to get me to pay MORE than what I paid for 8 hours on my wedding day. Total scam. While I appreciated the photographer herself, the company is very disappointing. To have someone go through the time and effort to show up and spend hours at a shoot, only to tell them that they need to pay to purchase the rights to their own images and on top of that, pay for the album (they give you a $100 credit but it's nothing), is wrong and I'm surprised they haven't been sued. Some women get their hair and makeup professionally done. I did not. But that would make any woman feel forced to purchase her images just so she doesn't have to go through another three hour session again and/or pay for hair and makeup. I couldn't say enough about how terrible this form of business is.
