With her seven years of experience, I could tell my newborn was in good hands right away. Her patience and ability to work with newborn babies is truly a talent! Prior to meeting, I had communicated with Michelle on Yelp and inquired her different packages, then signed a contract and paid a $50 deposit. Everything was pretty smooth and easy. The three packages are on her website, either basic, signature, or premium, and we went with the middle package - the signature, which was perfect for us. The middle package had 4 poses, swaddled, family included, and we received 50 photos! Fast forward to photoshoot morning - we followed directions to have baby fed and changed into a diaper by the time of her arrival. My son was 13 days old when she took photos in our home. She came with her props, accessories, and baskets all prepared! Michelle also brought a sound machine that had white noise playing to soothe the baby. She swaddled my son and every photo pose/ setup increased in difficulty but she was really patient and worked with my son who almost was so fussy he'd wake! I enjoyed that she brought different colors for swaddles and blankets and various types of hats for us to choose from. Furthermore, if you're like me and your home is a mess, don't worry! Michelle will make it work and she will decide which room has the best lighting for her photos. She'll need about 5ftx5ft of space at least! Michelle delivered our gallery in a blink of an eye. Literally got an email about images being ready within 3 days of the shoot. I loved every image!! My son had baby acne and dry skin peeling at the time and she let me know that if I chose 10 photos, she would retouch them and she did! Overall my husband and I are loving our photos and highly recommend Michelle. You will NOT be disappointed. I'm so thrilled I have beautiful images of my son captured when he was only two weeks old. Our twins were in the NICU for a month and our photography session was at 1.5 month old so they were older babies. Melaina and Becca were sooo patient with our girls since they don't sleep for as long as fresh newborns. They worked well together by bouncing swaddle/posing ideas off of each other. In addition, we felt very safe and assured because Melaina and Becca did frequent hand-hygiene after touching equipment before continuing to work with our babies. I had to call the office myself. She eventually reached out, but she didn't seem happy about it. When I asked about certain outfits and colors, she lied and said she didn't have them. However, I later found out that all Sweet Me photographers have the same kits--meaning she did have what I was looking for. On the day of the shoot, she canceled at the last minute. The company arranged for a replacement photographer to come instead. Unfortunately, the new photographer lacked experience with infants who are 4-5 weeks old. She mentioned she had only worked with newborns around 2 weeks old or younger. According to her, babies over 4 weeks are more alert and harder to pose. She also had a bit of an attitude. When I requested a specific color and outfit, she resisted and wanted to do things her way. I was still recovering and in pain at 4-5 weeks postpartum, but I patiently asked her to use the color I wanted. She eventually did, but it was clear she wasn't happy about it. She also came across as judgmental during the session--both in how she did the poses and in her comments about our family situation. The session was long because the baby was crying, and we had to take breaks to soothe and comfort him. It was a lot for the baby. Despite everything, I still tipped her well. If you're asking whether I recommend Sweet Me Photography, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Try to find someone with more experience and ask for referrals from people who have already done newborn shoots. Sweet Me just sends out random photographers, and you don't get to review their profiles ahead of time. I did end up purchasing all the photos, but the overall experience could have been much better.

I had a huge Filipino wedding of 240 people (you can imagine this got chaotic for group photos), but Toan was great at moving people along while still staying personable and professional. You can tell he is experienced and also loves what he does. My husband is more on the shy side, and we both don't know how to pose (haha), but Toan made us feel very comfortable the whole day. My cousins were my wedding planners, and they also commented on how easy and awesome Toan was to work with. We had an original plan for group photos outside, but after Toan noted that it was too windy outside, my cousins and Toan improvised and made a great photo spot inside of our cocktail hour area. My husband and I 100% recommend Toan for your wedding, or any event you may need photos for! (photos shared are unedited - I can't wait to see the edits once Toan shares with me!) Random fact - After I had already booked Toan, I looked more on his Instagram and his website and discovered he actually did the weddings of my cousin's cousin, and my husband's childhood friend!
