A whole lot of intelligent Googlers, including my girlfriend, and few outliers like myself from Amazon! Having a blast in an escape room.

What do you get when you have an escape room with 20 highly intelligent people, many of whom do not know each other? Escaping by the skin of your teeth! Let's get to the take aways from this team-building adventure that I was fortunate to be a guest for: 1) Lead and follow - it's a great setting to practice both of these and especially the one you need to work on! 2) Communicate, communicate, communicate - less is more in this experience and you need to be clear in your communication 3) Diversity makes for a phenomenal experience - it's incredible to be amidst such creative thinkers for solving different puzzles and bringing different perspectives to the table! 4) Divide and conquer - small teams are better to be broken up into at points and allows for you to get to know some of the other people a bit more! 5) Use your strengths and own your weaknesses - you can't be great at every puzzle in the room nor are you expected to be! 6) Have fun - at the end of the day, this is an awesome opportunity for many people that know and don't know each other to come together and enjoy an common hobby or experience...this is 100% a health-related opportunity! 10/10 recommend Reason Future Tech out in the Bay Area if you are looking for a team-building escape room experience! We played "Glitch" by the way if anyone was wondering!

Reason runs on AWS, so if there are problems, that's the source. It feels like a passion project by the owners, who are extremely invested in it. Mike led us through the escape room and helped us out when requested. There are three different escape rooms for different party sizes. We came here for Glitch and were able to spend a lot of time together as 12 people. A big thing you learn is communication is key, otherwise you spend time repeating challenges that have already been solved. At the end, we started guessing to finish the last two problems and discovered two bugs that Mike gladly heard and made note to fix, so again, you can tell they're passionate.

You have to dive deep to solve this!

Brought our team here and had a blast! Service is awesome, the rooms are super cool and it gave us a real tough challenge. Definitely recommend coming here if you have a big group and are looking to be challenged.

Fancy things in the lobby :3

Are there things we can do just as a small family? Not wanting to do an escape room or join another group.

Download geocaching app and find geocaches… lots of fun with kids.

What's the smallest number of players your rooms can go to? (I see minimum 10-person bookings on your website)

Hi there! The rooms require at least 5 players to be physically doable, but they do come with 10 player slots st a fixed cost.

Is Reason a good place for a youth's birthday party?

Sure thing! We host lots of kids and teenagers birthday parties!

    Is it just virtual reality?

It’s a real life escape room room with elements of VR and other technologies like 3D Printing, Holograms, etc.

Interesting story line and fun and interactive puzzles. The staff were very friendly and helpful if you get stuck. My only feedback is having air fresheners in each room or spraying the room with an air freshener when a group leaves as some rooms smelt a bit more musty than others. I assume it's from having so many people in a small room and running around trying to solve puzzles. We also came near the end of the day, so maybe it's best to come closer to when they open. Overall, the experience went well and it was a great way to spend time with friends!

NO WORDS. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…read more Palace Games has been high high up on our list to try. But with the price, we had to make sure we went with enough people and for a special occasion. We manifested this for my best friend's birthday and did the The Edison with 6 escape room enthusiasts. I can't even begin to describe how incredible this room is. The technology in this room is like no other. If I had to criticize it, I would say there isn't much of a storyline and it did start a little slow, but the ending and puzzles made up for it. I would definitely save this escape room for people who have done a few escape rooms already. I would not recommend this to a beginner because puzzles can be intricate and it would also ruin all other escape rooms. I can't wait to come back to do the other rooms!

Unlike traditional escape rooms where everyone works on one thing, we loved the competitive aspect--it got everyone engaged, energized, and working together. His energy throughout the game was fantastic and kept the momentum going the entire time. Everyone on our team had a blast, and we would definitely book BreakoutIQ again for future events. I didn't know how they would bring the escape room to us but it was perfect. We were going to do an offsite with a location based one but timing and location wasn't working for us so I thought I'd try breakout IQ. I'm so glad I did! It is a true test of team building and communication. The facilitation at the start was great. It really spoke to what I wanted my staff and me to get out of it. And the debrief was on par as well. It fit in nicely with the theme of our day long retreat. Besides fun it was educational on an individual and group level. I would totally use them again to facilitate for one of our student groups or even with other cross campus partners. Thank you!!
