Getting organized with Sarah Dunn was the best gift I could have ever given myself. For two years, I just couldn't tackle those last few unpacked moving boxes, the closets filled with clothes no longer worn, kitchen drawers filled with a tangle of stuff. I felt overwhelmed, didn't know where to start. Procrastination was my friend. As a kindness to myself, I started to research professional organizers. After looking at Sarah's website, I decided on Get It Dunn, based in Solana Beach. I contacted her online, and she replied right away. Together, we (mostly Sarah ) organized my kitchen, garage, baths and home office in a day and a half. Now my whole home feels more open, airy, spacious. What I especially liked about my experience organizing with Sarah: She's a careful listener, peaceful, focused, undaunted by what lies ahead. She made good use of what I had on hand; I didn't have to buy a lot of plastic organizers. She has an intuitive sense for the best use of space, and sees mental health benefit in keeping some space simply open. She doesn't go overboard -- no alphabetizing spices. She's a catalyst: in just a few minutes she had listed my two rain ponchos, antique pewter plate, rolls of shelf paper, wedding suit, unopened bottle of Murphy's oil soap, set of queen sheets, and a number of other items, on the Buy Nothing Project website, and they were picked up shortly thereafter by their delighted new owners. Honestly, I feel lighter. And grateful. read more

Sarah Dunn came in and rocked my world. It changed my life. She really got a good system going for me. I never thought about organizing my things in a way that makes sense. She decluttered my space and my mind. I can now work from my room with a sense of clarity. And I realized I was holding on to things that just collected dust. Thank you, Sarah! read more

Sarah, Stephanie, and Nicole are incredible! I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. They had two very full and messy large storage units to tackle for me. They were positive and professional the entire day! They get the vision and work tirelessly to complete it. All the while, they are cheerful and fun. I've had other organizers over the years, but this team is my favorite, by far. They couldn't have been more diligent, inspiring and successful! Do yourself a favor and hire them to tackle your organizing jobs. They'll get it done in a timely manner and you will feel so relieved to have your space finally, so well organized. read more

I recently used Get it Dunn to help get my primary closet and kid playroom organized. Sarah made the process so easy and didn't overwhelm me with her ideas and suggestions. She and Stephanie did a really nice job getting my closet in order. I can easily locate all my clothes, shoes, and purses and no longer have piles of unwanted (or forgotten things on the floor). I feel so much more "grown up" walking into my closet now and am so appreciative of how quick they were able to make it happen. Our children's playroom also is better organized and it's very easy for my family to now put things where they are supposed to go and allowed me to locate things I need to purge after being hidden for so long. I was slightly paranoid about feeling judged on my lack of organization and they were both so friendly, calm, and helpful. I would definitely use them again to help me in other rooms in my house in the future. read more

Loved working with Sarah's team - they packed, unpacked and organized our new house. Thank you!

Made an appointment and never showed up. I called and left message and messaged on Yelp, never heard back.

From start to finish, working with Sara and her team on my home organizing project was nothing short of an amazing experience! After being a fan of all those popular organizing shows (you know which ones), I finally decided to gift myself an appointment with a pro. I did quite a bit of research before I reached out to Sara and the Ready Set Organize team one night but I really had a great impression from her glowing client reviews, past project photos and her social media presence. Sara responded with a message immediately, showing her attentiveness from the get go. After some discussion and coordination, we had an appointment two weeks later. She, Steph and Mia COMPLETELY transformed my living room, home office, foyer, laundry room, family room and kitchen. Not having had a ton of free time to tackle these projects on my own, they worked their magic and I could not be happier with the results! Ladies, thank you for being so encouraging and for all of the helpful suggestions and thoughtful solutions you offered my family! It was an absolute pleasure to work with you! What you helped us accomplish today has truly has me wishing I had only reached out sooner. :) If you're reading this review trying to decide on the right company to help you with organizing a space, LOOK NO FURTHER. You won't regret it. :) read more

Six people, one household, 20+ years of stuff (a lot of stuff). I never knew where to start and was frankly too embarrassed to seek help. Sarah and her team were here for 2 days on 2 different occasions and the speed and efficiency on how each room was approached was mind-boggling. I cannot say enough about the team, there was no judgement and it was obvious the team REALLY enjoys what they do. Everyone was super nice and super sweet. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to not only declutter but organize as well. read more

Before working with Sarah my house gave me a lot of anxiety. It wasn't a place I enjoyed coming home to. I had clothes falling out of my closets, my drawers were a mess, and generally I just had no system in place. Sarah helped me minimize my belongings and donate things I no longer use. I am left with everything I want and I now enjoy coming home to my space. read more

I reached out and scheduled with Sarah and was all set to go. She even accommodated me last minute. I then called her day of to cancel due to a family emergency out of state. I expected her to be frustrated and to lose my deposit. I hired Sarah to come to my new townhome and unpack, put things away and organize. To my surprise she was so kind and empathetic and invited me to reschedule upon my return. I did just that, the following week when I arrived back in Oceanside. The day of, she and her associate arrived and got straight to work. I couldn't believe how much they got done in such a short amount of time. They came two days in a row totaling about 7.5 hours. I've never had a place look so good. They maximized use of space, communicated as they went to ensure I was ok with what they were doing and provided great tips. They were both so kind and genuine. I could not recommend Get it Dunn enough. I will definitely request their services again, I'm guessing every 6 months or so to ensure I stay organized. Reach out to them. You won't regret it!!! read more

Where can I start? We moved, changed jobs, and had a baby within about 2 months, and had moved from the Bay Area about 10 months prior and were a total S show. Sarah and Helena effectively unpacked us and made sense of our lives again...waaaaaaaay more so than we ever had before. Our pantry is actually "pretty". We are going to have them back to fix what we ruin everything couple of months :) read more

Sarah is the best! Super professional efficient and so kind. I couldn't recommend her enough. Don't wait to reach out.... She's a life saver

Sarah is a superwoman! I had more than an organizing problem, I had an unpacking problem. I'm disabled and moved into a new apartment. When Sarah arrived, there were boxes and "stuff" from floor to ceiling. When she left, I could get around the apartment more easily, but there was still much to do. She offered to come back the following weekend....and I was so glad she did. As we unpacked boxes, we organized as we went along. By the time she left, I was much more organized and the boxes and "stuff" were manageable. With her guidance and help, my apartment is now a home, not a storage unit... Sarah is smart, direct, and a sweetheart! She helped me find a direction in my new home. read more

Finding Sarah was such a relief! I am not an organized person by nature. Sarah came in and helped me get a clear sense of my problem areas, taught me how to create and implement a system that would work with my lifestyle, and showed me that with a little daily attention, the cleanliness was something that I could maintain. I am far more productive now that I have a thoughtfully organized space. Sarah was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend her services! read more

Sarah helped me transform my space into a beautiful and simplified environment that felt clean, uncluttered and one that I love to come home to. She walked me through the process patiently and helped explain how and why to let go of things that I thought were important to hold onto.
