Odobo means the importance of active involvement and participation in one's neighborhood to foster a sense of community. This bookstore does just that. They offer different community events like story time for children, adult yoga, karaoke night and even a self defense class. Today I simply bought some stickers and perused the books. Best Comic Shop in The Area! I've been going to Rogue Comics…read moresince its initial opening in 2010, and I must say, the place is like fine wine- It gets better with age! The owner Mike is one of the most pleasant people to talk to and his seemingly endless knowledge of comic books and generally nerdy things is rather refreshing. You can tell he loves what he does and puts care into making sure every customer he serves ends up enjoying their visit. Want a certain comic book or piece of paraphernalia that is unavailable at the moment? Mike will offer to order it for you. He is helpful to people of all ages and doesn't get enough credit for the work that he does. I truly hope that Rogue Comics stays open and thrives in its business for years to come.
