I had a scheduled appointment (although I was a bit late so I take full responsibility for that). After I was checked in and seated though it still was 47 minutes before a technician saw me, and almost an hour and a half before I was presented with a solution, which ended up being going to another store since they didn't have the parts needed to repair/replace my phone. I filled out the appointment request form very descriptively including the device type when making the reservation. I wish there was some sort of verbiage at the front and to state "hey we don't have this in stock, just so you know" Overall the staff was friendly, and I got to have some nice conversations with other customers. Could have been better, but I'm certainly not switching to Android, so I'll live. Just plan accordingly if you made an appointment. You may spend a large chunk of your day here.

The drawback is that filling the store with staff, it's actually hard to talk to someone. A couple days later I realized my earpiece was no longer working. I took it back and they told me the tech who fixed it noted that everything was working when he tested it. (his test for the speaker/earpiece was calling the store phone, holding both phones to his ear at the same time and saying 'hello' a few times.) So they charged me *just for the part* to fix it. They didn't have the part and had to order it. A couple days and $30 later I should have just gone to Apple or any other cellphone screen repair service that would have fixed the part they broke for free.

The poor owner Jacob appears to have some very serious anger issues. His store's motto is "we'll buy your iPhone on the spot". He left me 3 times to sell $5-$10 iPhone cases in the middle of our sale. Lol. I have two business lines and two iPhones. I need one. The phone I offered was brand-new in the box and had the receipt from AT&T for god sake, $749.99. Can't return it to AT&T obviously. So his prerequisites for making me an offer to buy were taking a walk to see his buddy at T-Mobile to make sure my phone is not stolen. Lol. Passed. Then he has to call AT&T and make sure it "really is an AT&T phone and not fake AT&T" and that I "really am it's AT&T customer" holding its account. He dials 611 from the phone...unbelievably, AT&T answers. He goes "yep, uh huh, yep, ok. Great thanks!" Then turns to me and says: "you're not the account holder, and AT&T advises me to not do business with you." Bahahaha. Is this guy deliberately trying to destroy his business? I seriously looked him in the eyes and told him he lied. I couldn't believe it. So awkward, I almost felt violated. Best of luck Jordan...seriously go grab a cocktail or Valium and leave the people skills to your charismatic employees.

Jarret is an exceptional team manager and gets five stars. My laptop is happy, which means I am…read morehappy. A while back, I contacted Chipheads for a comparison quote on the replacement of a laptop keyboard and frame after a water spill fried a touchpad. The first place I had visited for a quote was a lovely one-man shop that quoted me $300 minimum for the repair - and that was with full awareness that I'd already purchased my own replacement parts and therefore all cost on his part was purely labor. He also communicated clearly that accessing the keyboard area required moving multiple parts he was not entirely familiar with and laughed that he would have to give me the $2000+ laptop he'd tried to sell me if the repair didn't go well. I left the establishment unconvinced of his capability to fix my also $2000+ design powerhouse that had not left my side since I got her. Enter Chipheads. I contacted via the general email address on the website, outlining the general situation and requesting a quote. Chipheads teammate Scott responded, and the quote he gave was comparable. I then emailed to confirm that I'd ordered the right parts before making the decision to put my laptop basically in the hospital right before I was going to be gone for a full two weeks, so I wouldn't be able to get her back even if the parts were wrong and repairs could not be done. Scott never responded to that email, and I had to leave for my out-of-town event. When I'm home, I rely on my laptop heavily, so dropping off when I'm not occupied with an event is not ideal. When another long event came up on my schedule, I contacted Chipheads again, this time creating a new email thread directing back to the general email address - the previous thread had directed to Scott's email address after we connected. I admit that I was hoping that I would connect with Jarret this time, and I did. He responded not only quickly but also giving me the option of a two-week repair period for less than $200. I'd be occupied with my event for exactly that amount of time anyway, so this was perfect. When I arrived the day before my event started, Jarret was with another guest. Both the impression that the first shop had given me about the delicate nature of my repair and my own experience in tinkering with laptops and electronics in general added to why I specifically waited to speak directly with Jarret given the impression of reliability he gave me in our correspondence. I dropped my laptop off with Jarret the day before my event started. Less than 48 hours later, he called to let me know that my laptop was ready for pickup. That was back in August. I specifically waited to ensure that the laptop was in perfect working order before leaving a review. It's now October. Safe to say, my laptop is in good health. Dropping one star for Scott dropping the ball on communication. Regardless, I'd wholeheartedly recommend Chipheads for your repair and upgrade needs.
