The Manager/Owner met with me to select a new PC, with a generous credit. The only reason I don't give 5 stars here is that the communication with staff leading up to the realization I needed a different PC was confusing and frustrating. They are friendly, but they did not seem attuned to the customer's frustration. Finally, I had to request to talk to the Manager in order to get things to happen, and then he was quick to accommodate me. I recommend them; and I would shop there again because of how they resolved my situation. They have little control over the problems that arise, but it's how they handle the problems that matters. They are small, but they have a quality selection and they seem committed to the individual customer's satisfaction; I greatly prefer them over the "big box" stores.

I dropped my "bratty" Inspiron off at Techie Dudes on a Wednesday and had a nice conversation with Will. (A good listener.) Will said to check back in a couple of days. I called on Friday afternoon and spoke to Erik. Erik said Will had left (service call) but he'd check on it as he had some time. About an hour later, Erik called me back and happily announced he got the Inspiron up and running. All good after five, test restarts! Erik was above and beyond. Genuinely concerned, professional and personable. This level of personal service is rare today. Yes. I absolutely thank and recommend Techie Dudes!

That is the feeling I was left with after speaking with this establishment. Had an issue with my laptop's performance and was about to begin upgrading everything by deductive reasoning. Spoke with this business and they were VERY HONEST with me. We did some troubleshooting and they explained to me why it may be time to just consider replacing my laptop. They don't sell computers, they repair them. They definitely knew more than I could acquire through YouTube University so they could have easily taken my money, but they were honest and gave me options that would satisfy my goal but be cost effective as well. It would randomly freeze up, and restarting was the only way to get any use out of it. I had used other companies in the past, but I was searching for someone who actually knew something about computers. I found Nanosystems Inc on Home Advisor, and called, based on other reviews. From the get go, I was impressed by Rashan and his staff. Rashan himself picked up the PC after a phone consult in which it was apparent that this wasn't fixable via a remote visit. Replacing the hard drive helped, but didn't entirely mitigate the issue, so back to the shop it went. Rashan promised that he would keep working on it until the problem was resolved, and he followed through on that promise. After getting it back home, it runs markedly better than it did even when it was new, and at what I consider a very reasonable price. I was prepared to have to invest in a new unit, but I'm happy that I didn't have to. I would recommend Nanosystems to anyone looking for repair or replacement.

I occasionally worked on Macs for years at my work, but Mark looked at my dead MacBook Air, which I assumed was a dead brick that I would spend a little on to confirm that, and did something I would have never thought of, simple and effective. Then ran several diagnostic softwares on it to clean up the system and HD mapping. What's more he was great to talk to, and very personable for a technician. I look forward to calling him for all my computer problems.

I set it down and told him it wouldn't turn on and explained what I tried. He told me his rate was $125 per 30 minutes and he wouldn't even touch it until I agreed. So he didn't know if he could even fix it let alone how long or if there would be added costs for the fix. He told me this was a "VERY fair rate". So this was WAY more than I expected to pay being an hour of work equated to over half the cost of my device. I then went to Micro Center down the road who could diagnose it for $80 flat and would help cover any costs of the fix. I went with Micro Center and they fix my computer and returned it 3 days later for $120 total. Now I think this business could've fixed my computer same day but I would've guessed at double the price and I didn't mind waiting. Overall I'm giving this a 2 because it seems expensive and telling me it was a fair rate seemed dishonest.
