Though my move to the new location was literally next door, the distance needed to unload from the truck to my new location was not as straight forward as I had hoped. This company is either a complete rip off or they didn't really want to take on the job so they quoted me something they knew was ridiculous. Hard pass, there are plenty of other moving companies with good reviews. Edit: Received a patronizing message from Dean when I let him know I wouldn't be using their services as the pricing was ridiculous. He said "moving is a service" as if I didn't know and then ignored offering any type of explanation as to why his service would be at least twice as much as the other quotes I got.

WOW! I thought,…read morehmm, do I want to pick out and plant a few Fruit Trees myself, or has experience shown me that someone with decades of practice and results may guide me to better decisions? From our first trip to Moon Valley Nurseries in Fillmore to pick out the Trees, Roy guided us on why certain trees, although maybe less tall, were a far better tree overall due to the health of the tree and leaves. Therefore, I chose a less tall Mandarin Fruit Tree, because I want a better fruit producer over the decades when I pick my own fruit from my own tree. Roy explained how space in the middle of the tree will allow air to flow through the tree which will allow the tree to breath better, therefore produce better. On and on... Amanda, don't tell Roy, collaborated with me on maximizing the 60% sale price combined with delivery fees and a year's maintenance contract (some goodies included) for all 3 Fruit Trees. Each one of the 3 Fruit Trees now in my yard look stunning and healthy and I am excited to see how quickly they grow and how much they produce, which Roy estimated for me on each Fruit Tree. The day of planting, Mauricio showed up with 5 men and 2 trucks and in less than an hour my 3 Fruit Trees had the holes dug out, professionally planted, fertilized, and thoroughly watered for the first time. I would be spending a good part of the day just digging out the first hole that needed to be at least 2 times the size of the tree container...for one tree, let alone 3 trees! As for all the rest they did, I would have worried about what soil amendments and fertilizers to add now versus later. All of this was done for us! After planting, Mauricio handed us a Professional Colored Brochure and explained what we need to do for the rest of the year, to keep our Fruit Trees staying healthy, growing, and producing a lot of fruit. Oh, and Moon Valley Nurseries will be coming out to my home 3 more times during this year, observing and guiding me on each Fruit Tree. We are also excited that each tree comes with a guarantee. We would not have obtained this length of guarantee on trees we simply went and picked out at a Nursery. But that is not all Mauricio did for me. I had struggled over where to place the Fruit Trees in my yard. Mauricio explained to us where he would place each tree and why if this was his yard. Now that all 3 Fruit Trees are in place, I can see exactly why Mauricio chose each spot for each tree. The one that will grow the largest has the most space available. Two other trees were placed yards apart, so they would be able to grow to their maximum height and width. But trees were also placed so I can see from one tree to the next. The lady "Diane" who took my payment over the phone said she could not waive the first and only late fee of $30. I've spent maybe a little over a couple thousand dollars in their facility and again, never had I been late on my monthly payment. I was happy there, but for the sole reason of the unwillingness and lack of sympathy to waive the outrageous $30 fee to a loyal patron I put a cancel on my future business with golden state storage and will take my business elsewhere.

This was one of the best customer experiences I've ever had, and I know that is hard to imagine because moving sucks usually. But Richard was a true hero for me. I needed to move something last minute at 7:30 at night. Crazy right? I didn't think it would be possible but I sent out a Hail Mary request anyway. Avoid this company at all costs! During my move, they broke my marble bar cart. I was told they had…read moreup to 14 days to resolve the issue, which I was fine with. However, after the 14 days passed, I had to follow up multiple times before finally being given two options: either replace the marble or accept a payout of only one-third of the item's value. I chose to have the marble replaced. Weeks later, when they came to deliver it, it wasn't marble at all--it was porcelain FLOOR TILE with a marble print and unfinished sides (see photo). Despite all of our communication being in writing via text--where they repeatedly confirmed "marble"--they then blatantly told me marble was too expensive and they won't do anything more. They had "fulfilled their legal obligation" by giving me floor tiles instead of marble. So in the end, it was a "gotcha" because I chose the option to replace and I got what I got even though it was wrong This was dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I would hate for this to happen to someone else!

I can't say enough good things about Grant and his crew. My…read moremove was a two household into one move. There was so much stuff and they got us in. Friendly, professional and just amazing. I was on a severe time crunch and they really saved my family. When I first reached out for bids, through Yelp, I received 15 canned/automated responses and Grant's personal message. I do not know where to begin with this review. If I could sum it up in 2 words, it would be -…read moreunprofessional and unethical. I made a reservation for a move from Torrance to SCV with Grant but never received a confirmation- 1st red flag!! Grant and another guy showed up on moving day in a U haul, 1 roll of tape and a few raggedy blankets - 2nd red flag!! They took 6.5 hours to load a 2 bedroom and needed constant supervision. One of them also took a 20 min restroom break in the middle of the move in addition to the normal allocated break. Upon reaching SCV, we found our glass dining table top damaged along with a couple of other items. Grant came over a couple of days later and took measurements to replace the glass table top. Since that day (6 weeks since the move) it's been a game of evade and lies. He says he has the table top on order but no idea of when it is due. Now he won't return calls or messages. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I have to resort to calling him from unknown numbers to get him to answer his phone. I have reported them to the BBB. The good reviews on here are people who just got lucky dealing with this joke of a company!! Please do yourself a favor and pick an honest, reliable and professional company other than these clowns!
