Loved this unit for the first year. But then they kept charging me for insurance when I had given…read morethem proof I had insurance. Then the rate hike this year by 30%! Give me a break, there is ZERO change in anything on the property to merit that kind of hike. $400 a month isn't worth it. I'm moving my stuff out.

My payment is now $189 dollars starting Nov 1st it only took them 7 months to up it. The first time was July 3rd 2025 and the tried to put it up to $180 but I was able to get them to lower the amount to $101 but obviously that didnt last long because starting next month it will be $189. They dont car that most people are struggling with jobs they just want their money. Let's see how long it takes them to go over $200 I post it when they do. My response to the comment below from the business! I understand businesses have expenses, but saying rate increases are based on "market conditions" feels unfair. People's wages aren't increasing as often or as fast as storage prices are. Not everyone works full time and many of us are just doing what we can to make ends meet. And honestly, I don't really understand how "market conditions" even apply to a storage facility. It's not like you're selling products or dealing with fluctuating supply costs -- it's a fixed building. Unless your property taxes are changing every few months (which I know they're not, having worked in a tax company), these frequent rate hikes just don't make sense. It really feels like profit is being put above people. Aside from basic upkeep like cleaning, pest control, lighting, security systems, the occasional building or roof repair, and insurance anf property tax there isn't much that truly changes in cost. That's about it -- none of those justify constant, steep price increases. Storage facilities don't have inventory, product costs, or major utilities for tenants, so "market fluctuation" or "maintenance" excuses usually just mean profit-driven rent hikes, not real expenses. Do you increases your employees pay as fast and as much as your increases payments to your customers?

I've been helping my friend move her belongings from her relatives house to her storage unit here,…read moreconsecutively for the past few weekends. I haven't stepped into a storage facility in 16 years and this location is so upgraded from I used to pay for in National City. When we made our first trip, my friend said- I forgot what the gate code is & my exact unit number. LOL. While she went into the office and retrieved her info, I waited in my truck. Once she got the info- we drove past the security gates- towards Building G (same building attached to the office). Her unit is located within the 3 story building. On the street level, there's an opening into the building, where you'll find the elevators/ lifts. And the flatbed push carts- which definitely come in handy to move items in a safe, timely manner. Even at this entrance, you'll feel the air conditioner- which makes a difference in the Riverside heat. Ughhh! There are a few parking stalls adjacent to the building entrances. *BTW- if you don't see any of the flatbed carts in Building G- walk over to Building H and look inside that entrance by the elevators. One time we found 7 of the carts. There are 2 elevators for each of these 3 story buildings, which definitely helps customers out. They are decent length, where we could fit 2 carts, side by side. And 3 of us, comfortably. Her unit is the biggest available- and inside her unit and along the hallways- are well lit. She mentioned she got her unit when this facility first opened (about 2 years ago) and they had great MOVE IN offers! They also offer RV storage, which is in the adjacent lot from the buildings. The facility is clean and they have great hours.

Un professional -Rude- Dismissive -embarrassing behavior from the staff member Luna. Let me be…read moreclear and stating that I do know storage Quest and U-Haul are two separate entities. They share a contract and therefore you were able to rent U-Haul trucks through their facility. I have never rented a storage unit at this location, but from the reviews, I am reading. There's no way I would ever do so. My experience with the associate named Luna was from the beginning unwelcoming. With U-Haul they give you the option to." check in online or pick up with your mobile app." Which is total BS. You still have to go More information to pick up the truck. That's the case with everywhere whom have a contract with U-Haul. Again not storage Quest's problem. But as a customer service representative of the storage Quest facility, she should have met me with kindness and professionalism. Instead, after getting all of my details, including my credit card numbers copy of my ID, my address, etc. she printed off a receipt stating I wasn't allowed to rent with U-Haul and she wasn't sure why...slides me the receipt in which only holds a QR code for me to take care of the issue on my own. Personally, I think she should have called U-Haul herself while I was in the lobby so that we could take care of the issue together. Nevertheless, I did do my due diligence of calling and taking care of the issue on my own. upon arriving back into the lobby, where I had about 15 minutes before clothes, which she was not going to stay one minute after that's for sure... She looked at me with a blank stare and says so do you need my help or are you going to complete this online? I asked her to please help me... Meanwhile, in the process of finalizing my rental, I forwarded her a copy of the receipt for a balance I had just paid which was preventing me from renting the new truck. I started to ask if she could simply print off the receipt but before I could finish my sentence, she interrupted me saying I don't have that much paper or ink so I can't print anything for you if that's what you're going to ask. I made a very subtle grunt under my breath, rolled my eyes and continued waiting for her to finalize my new rental. I'd say approximately two minutes went by before she tossed literally tossed the key over the counter, making zero eye contact with me and simply says trucks outside. I walked out with no thank you no instructions to proceed forward nothing. Thank goodness I got it on video.

Site saff still fine, but payment policy/system is 0/5 stars. Phone system also down too…read morefrequently (hung up on me 10 times today) . Chat agent also hung up on me. God forbid you have to make a late payment... -FYI, expect an annual rent increase. -Payment from multiple sources no longer allowed. (I don't know any other businesses that do this). -Emails always identified as SPAM, even if white-listed, and are sent to junk mailbox. Email provider blames Storquest. -Late monthly payment of rent and fees NOT ACCEPTED as soon as following month is shorty due. Payment system set to only accept if following month is also included. (again, don't know any other business that will reject a full late payment, because they want a second payment also) -Late payment is cash-only after 45 days. If second month becomes late, second month is cash-only after 15 days (because required to pay at same time).
