A True Godsend: Crisis Averted by Ray and Team!…read more If you are currently experiencing a major plumbing issue, stop searching and call this company immediately. They turned what was a nightmarish, unsanitary crisis into a stress-free, professionally managed repair job. This team, led by Ray, is the definition of professionalism, speed, and expertise. Here is the full story of how they saved our home: The Problem: Worse Than We Could Imagine It started subtly on a Sunday: a slow, strange backup in our shower drains while running the dishwasher and laundry. I dismissed it as a simple clog. However, the anxiety kept me up, leading me to call my home warranty on Monday. Ray was in the area, and even though I missed his initial call, he came right over. When we walked around the house, we were met with a horrific sight: a massive, disgusting overflow of sewage and toilet paper beside our foundation. Our main sewer line was BROKEN. The Solution: Expertise, Speed, and Empathy Ray immediately put us at ease. With his 15 years of plumbing experience, he recognized the severity and knew a simple fix wouldn't cut it. We needed a full pipe replacement. Monday: Ray quickly assessed the damage and prepared the plan. Tuesday (Excavation Day): Ray and his team were on-site, dedicating a full day to carefully excavating the property to expose the broken line. Wednesday (Installation Day): This is where they truly shined. Ray called in reinforcements because he knew we had a 20-month-old toddler at home. He understood the immense strain that not being able to use the kitchen, laundry, or (most critically) the bathtub was putting on our family. The full crew worked tirelessly and installed the new pipe in one day! Thursday (Cleanup): Ray and one of his guys returned to meticulously clean and restore the worksite. The Final Verdict & Why You Should Hire Them In less than 72 hours from the moment we realized the catastrophic extent of the damage, Ray and his team had excavated our yard, replaced the broken pipe, and restored all of our essential services. The peace of mind that comes from such fast, high-quality, and reliable work is worth every single penny. Ray's timely response was a literal Godsend--he got the job done exactly when he said he would, and the quality is flawless. Ray: Thank you so much for your flexibility with payment and for your understanding of our difficult situation. You and your team are highly recommended!

(Really 4.5 stars, but I'm rounding up here in good faith.)…read more We've hired Carlos and his crew a few times now, thanks to a house full of fifty year old galvanized pipe. We finally decided we were tired of having a plumbing emergency every couple of months, and hired GSP once more, to replace every pipe in the house: new copper on the service side, new ABS on the drain side. The Good: GSP's crew showed up on time every day of the job, and always communicated what rooms they'd be working in, when the water would need to be shut off, when inspections would happen, and everything else pertinent to the job. After all the pipes were replaced and the water was back on, we've had zero leaks or issues. Everything just worked, the first time. This is really a testament to the care and quality that GSP puts into their work! Carlos was particularly generous with his time during the project, and helped us with some minor plumbing jobs that were clearly not part of the scoped work. He patiently answered a thousand of my questions and never seemed annoyed or rushed. There were little touches I was very impressed by: without asking, the GSP crew re-routed one of my hose bibs to make it easier to access & use, for example. The Bad: We had a misunderstanding around the water heater, which was also replaced as part of the job. I expected a 50 gallon unit but a 40 gallon unit was installed. Not a big deal for us since it's a small house, but I'm a little disappointed to not get what was written in the job spec, nonetheless. We understand it doesn't make sense to clean everything at the job site for the end of each work day, only to come back in a few hours and mess it all up again. However, because the job site in question was the home we were living in, this was a bit of a hardship. We spent many evening hours sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming up drywall and assorted dust that was left behind, so we could sit on our couch, or cook a meal. The Verdict: We are very happy with our new pipes, clean water, and improved pressure! We would absolutely hire GSP again for a job of any size. The most important thing for us was the job being done with quality, and both the materials and workmanship provided by GSP have that, in spades!

Boxers Plumbing saved the day! The pipe from the bathroom was clogged, which caused the toilet and…read moretub to back up with wastewater. To make matters worse, the two bathrooms share the same drain and are back-to-back. My parents called a plumber they knew, and I had high hopes that he would be able to unclog the drain at 9 PM. After examining the cleanout in the driveway, he said, "We lost." What do you mean, "we lost?!" You're a plumber! You're supposed to know how to unclog pipes. I live in an old house that doesn't have a two-way sewer cleanout port, so there was no way for him to snake back into the house from the driveway. The last time we had a clog this bad was about 20 years ago. The previous plumber had to remove both toilets to send a snake down the Y drain. The plumber my parents called wasn't going to pull toilets at 9 PM. I was stressed because my children needed to bathe and use the toilet before going to bed. I tried plunging the toilet many times without success, and liquid pipe cleaner was useless. Fortunately, we have an ADU in the back, so we were able to shower and get ready for bed. The next morning, I called several plumbers, including Boxers Plumbing. The receptionist at Boxers Plumbing promptly sent a work order to one of the plumbers, who called me within 15 minutes. My conversation with Raphael was very professional. He asked about the clog and its location, then provided an estimate over the phone. I was skeptical of the estimate because it seemed unreasonably LOW for what I thought he would have to do. Raphael arrived within the hour, as he had mentioned. I had expected a discount plumber based on the quote, but I was mistaken! When he entered the house, he put on boot covers to avoid dirtying the floors. After checking the clog, he laid down a roll of paper from the front door to the bathroom and removed only one toilet to clear the blockage. It was incredibly fast! From his arrival to clearing the clog, replacing the toilet, and wiping the floor, the entire process took just 45 minutes. I couldn't believe how quickly he worked, so I checked the time when I took a picture of his arrival and another after the job was done. Boxers Plumbing saved me a tremendous amount of stress and money. I highly recommend calling them if you ever need a plumber. And yes, he stuck to his quote. Rafael is a man of his word.
