My husband remembered going to this place many years ago when he visited Texas and wanted to return. I wasn't overly impressed. He ordered the gator tail as an appetizer. He loved it. He got Mahi and shrimp and seemed to think it was just okay. I got the blackened chicken with pasta. I felt like the sauce may have not been from scratch and from a jar. It was just okay. This is a new restaurant that is really nice inside and out. The outside seating is great because there is an open space just across for kids to play and run around. The staff was friendly when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Our server was great, we ordered off the 2 for $20 menu, which we did have to ask for. The fried pickles were good, we also ordered margaritas on the rocks with tajin which they don't carry but put something else on instead. Our server said it was very similar, it is not. I would not recommend it. Our food came out, my husband's food was great, but mine was not made correctly. Our server was quick to get it fix. Our third time here; the food and service are still plentiful and very satisfying. Bring a sweater as they keep the temperature much too cold. The wife had a cheeseburger as she is not big on seasoned Cajun food. It was tasty and juicy, along with the side of coleslaw. I had the Catfish and shrimp basket with slaw and red beans & rice sides, plus a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo. All were delicious and more than I could comfortably eat, so leftovers await. Catfish is overwhelmed by breading, so could benefit from a modification. Service was cordial and efficient. Music volume and acoustics make it difficult to hear across the table. Otherwise I would have rated them a 5-star experience. read more

We have been there at least 10 times. The staff seem extremely overwhelmed!!! When we sit at the bar, service is very slow. They do not have 1 specific person designated to only wait on the bar patrons. They had 3 girls back there running around doing the work of 10 people and barely paying attention to anyone sitting at the bar. It was chaos! We had to interrupt them a couple times to get what we needed. People from the tables behind us had to come to the bar multiple times just to get the water they ordered. The place was packed but very under staffed. At one point a server apologized and told us that employees only stay for a few weeks and quit! Wonder why? The red beans and rice is fantastic!! Finally got the try the new Razzoo's in Old Town Burleson. Pretty fun place! They had some pretty sweet cajun music playing in the background and the decor was super cool. I never eat a lot of Cajun food so I asked the bartender what she would recommend and she suggested the stuffed Shrimp. I was so glad she did it was super good! I wanted to try the array of mixed drinks. some are so big that you have to share LOL but was solo so i got an small IPA. Nice to have more places for night outs in Burleson now. read more

My son and daughter in law took me to Razzoo's Sunday for mothers day, this was the 2nd time I have been and it did not disappoint. I was not very impressed when I went there with me and my wife, so very loud that you couldn't even hear yourself talk, I understand, being a new business, restaurant, it being busy, but this was ridiculous, the wait was an hour long, They DO NOT have military discount LIKE AT THE RAZZOOS OVER IN FORT WORTH, SEATING AND TABLES WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE, AND THE FOOD WAS NOT THAT GOOD IN MY OPINION, This is why I am only giving it 2 stars, Maybe in the future things will get better, I do not know if I will return to this one or not. I would rather drive to the one in Fort Worth off of Bryant Irving Road in city view plaza and have a better meal and a better atmosphere, and not as loud . Again, this is just my opinion that's why I do not have any pictures or anything else and I did not review it when I first went there or checked in while I was at this location. read more

Weather was great so we opted to sit outside on the Sunday we visited this location. The drinks and appetizer came out quickly and then we were pretty much ignored for the remainder of our meal. I had to get up to ask for a refill, my wife never got a refill because we never saw our waitress. The food came out after a very long wait and was cold and mushy. At the very end after waiting 30 minutes just to get our bill (brought to us by another waitress), our original waitress tabbed us out and said sorry she had some big tables. The service at the Burleson Razzoo's is pretty bad. It's a shame because the food is pretty good, but not good enough to make up for the poor service. Our server didn't seem to know we were seated in his area. He stopped by two other tables that were seated AFTER us and only came to our table because he was trying to give us a drink a different table had ordered. This was about 10 minutes after we were seated. We ordered 3 entrees and an appetizer. Two entrees came out first, followed by the app. When we asked about the 3rd entree, the server said "I'll go see if they put that in." It came out 10 minutes later. And when we got the check found that they charged for the dinner when we had ordered from the lunch menu. And he only came to check our drinks once and refilled only mine even though my wife's was also empty. The food was good once we got it, but we won't be going back. read more

Crab Cakes were ok, Oysters were the size of nickels and overcooked, sauces was good, Alligator was sent back because it was nothing but breaded strips. Broke open two pieces and you could not see Alligator at all. Replaced Alligator with stuffed jalapeños, those were good. Main Entrees: Jambalaya Pasta, poor...pasta was soggy and tasted like it was made hours before, chicken pieces were hard, flavor was not fresh. Second entree, Shrimp Étouffée was flavorless and shrimp was soggy, rice seemed like it was made hours before. Huge fan of Pappadeaux's and authentic Cajun food and was hoping this would at least be close in quality, nope. Really love supporting local restaurants but spending $100 you need quality food to get return business. read more

I am very unsatisfied with my second and last visit to your Burleson location. Both orders have been carry out and both orders have been subpar when concerning the service. This particular experience was worse than the last! I walked to the bar to get my food since no one was at the to-go window. When I got to the bar I had to wait while the bartender stood at the end of the bar with no acknowledgment that I was there. When he was done with his conversation he came and asked me what I needed. Told him my name and he took the sack to the end of the bar and said I need you to sign a notebook with my name and signature to take my food that I just paid almost $60 for, not to mention the legality issue of having personal information on the counter with my signature for everyone that wants to come by and look at it or snap a picture of it since the bartender doesn't seem to pay any attention to what's going on. I have never been asked to sign for food that I've already paid for, I can understand for delivery services. I know it might seem petty, but as a paying customer, I wanted to be treated better than a food delivery driver. Some of the food was good and some was dry and overcooked of which I would give a 3 out of 5 stars. read more

We went to the Burleson location yesterday for our 3rd visit and unfortunately left extremely disappointed. In fairness the first 2 experiences were good but this one was just a complete letdown so my rating was an average over those three visits. I ordered the Chicken Tchoupitoulas which menu states as "Grilled chicken breast over roasted potatoes, andouille sausage, and mushrooms. Served with green beans, garlic toast, and lemon butter sauce". I know the name is a mouthful but the meal was not. The chicken breast is hammered thin and laid on top of the potatoes with in my case absolutely no andouille sausage or mushrooms! I brought this to our waiters attention and then he brought over the manager to address my concern. She stated the "portions are what they are" and I showed her the portion size was 0. She then said she would get me another serving which I expected a small bowl of mushrooms and andouille to be provided as described in the meal. She returned with a small bowl of more potatoes and literally a garnishment of mushroom and andouille. Wow! This left me feeling that is how this meal is actually served and the description on their menu is misleading at best and deceptive at worst! This item specifically was not worth my money and you certainly will not require a go box. I would like to give them another chance considering we did have a good experience previously but it will not be anytime soon. read more
