I am VERY disappointed with Razzolink's billing department. They made a clerical error and thought my account was past due. I had my bank send them a copy of the cancelled check to prove payment. I have called multiple times to solve this and I just get lip service and the promise that "Barbara in Accounting" will call me back. Then a day or two later my internet is shut off again. I have wasted Hours and my internet is shut off again (6th time). I am beyond "frustrated" as I write this on my cell phone! read more

I would suggest that instead of a response to call you (I have called dozens of times) and that you cant find us in a data base or some other laughable attempt to deflect real concerns back onto your paying customers why don't you have a meeting with your ownership, let them know your customers hate your service because to be frank it SUCKS, inform them that not many of your customers would do business with Razzolink if there were other options, and come up with a strategy to deliver to your customers a product that Razzolink can be proud of and worth the outrageous prices you charge.. Razzolink Wake Up it is shameful to read your Yelp feedback and even more embarrassing to read your delusional defensive responses. I live in a rural part of San Benito county, the only choices for internet are Razzolink or a satellite provider (Dish, Excede, Hughes,) since there is no real competition I feel Razzolink takes advantage and charges extremely high rates for lousy connections speeds. Razzolink has been our ISP for several years and we have been plagued by the same issues that other customers have complained about. Very low speeds (usually less than half of what is promised) excuse after excuse when we call to report problems, constant outages, to be blunt they are a terrible ISP. I have called dozens of times over the last several years with no real resolution to our problems. I have upgraded our service in hopes that this would improve our connection speeds but with only mediocre results. I am not in a unique situation I live in a neighborhood of about 120 homes, most of the community uses Razzolink and everyone I have spoken with in the neighborhood shares in many of the complaints published here on Yelp (SO RAZZOLINK IT IS NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS FAULT OR THERE ROUTERS) its your business practices of denial, sub-par service, failure to deliver, and outrageous prices that are the real issue. A neighbor recently switched to Excede satellite internet, I looked into it and I have decided to switch our service to the Excede 25mps with unlimited data I am not exactly excited about this because it is expensive $150.00 per month and my neighbor has had some negative things to say. (its a sad truth but it comes down to 2 bad and overpriced choices) I will not upgrade to Razzolinks 7mps because in I bluntly don't believe they will deliver and I am tired of paying them our hard earned money. I do want to share that I did receive some great inside news from a friend that works with a major wireless service (t-mobile,ATT,Verizon ect). One of these companies has plans to deploy 5G service ahead of schedule in the first quarter of 2019 in San Benito county and later in Monterey county in mid 2019. For those who don't know 5G is a new technology that major phone carriers are working to deploy over the next few years. 5G will provide wireless home internet service at fiber optic speeds!!! When this happens we can all tell Razzolink and Sat providers to shove their modems and satellite dishes where the sun doesn't shine read more

Razzolink just upgrade thier billing software and caused my Internet connection to fail. Their technicians have no clue as to why. I have 2 computers and now only one can connect at at time. They never notified me of the change and said on their page an authentication user and password are on my last bill. Well, I must be their only customer that pays through automatic billing and don't get a statement. Terrible service!!! read more

My ISP options in Prunedale are slim; Razzolink has provided the best option so far. Phone line internet service (AT&T) that is available in my part of Prunedale is only slightly faster than old dial-up. HughesNet satellite service (which I used to use) was no more faster or reliable than Razzolink and was MUCH more expensive for a paltry monthly allotment. Dish Network claims to be faster (for 11% more money, even if we bundled service) but also severely limits your monthly usage. Razzolink's monthly allotment is huge - we use one-quarter at most. We live in an area where we are also severely limited on which Razzolink tower we can access. Therefore, we must compete with more customers than usual for bandwidth. We can experience slow-downs during highest-demand periods, it is for that reason my rating is not 5 stars. I have always received excellent service from Razzolink in the many years we have used them. Most recently, storms knocked down our rooftop antenna and Razzolink was very responsive; technician Don came to our home at the very beginning of the appointment window and performed antenna installation in an efficient/proficient manner. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and pleasant. read more

Hand down the biggest waste of $100 I spend every month. The only reason I have stuck with them is the lack of Data caps and overage fees. I pay for the 10mb plan but very rarely do I receive that. Daily speed tests come in at 2.33 down and 1.6 up. I am looking directly at the tower we receive from as well so that can't be the issue. Every time I call they feed me the 10mb but then throttle back down the minute I get off the phone. 9 times out of 10 the tech cannot figure out what is wrong and says that I will have to talk to a manager. Surprise surprise nobody is available at peak hours on a Friday and end up having to wait through the entire weekend without Internet. Way to go Razzolink I think I'm just going to go back to using snail mail, it might be faster. read more

In re: my Razzolink (R) ticket #N7955271, access to my email account acquired from Redshift was interrupted. In attempting to restore service, R staff directed me to close my account so they could re-establish it. After two multi-hour phone calls they were unable to do so and concluded by telling me Apple was more knowledgeable, and that I should contact Apple. So far, Apple has been unable also, and referred me back to R. I continue to be able to access my secondary emails through Yahoo and Google. As of this date, approximately 2 weeks since the interruption, I am able to receive emails from my Redshift email address, but unable to send them, and I do not have access to my complete mailbox construct. I therefore do not have access to my extensive Redshift records, nor am I able to file incoming email appropriately. It has wreaked havoc with paying bills. In the 20 or so years of service with Redshift technical support, no problem was unsolved to my satisfaction. My disappointment with R borders on rage, or perhaps RAGE. read more

Wish I could give these jokers a 1 *! I've been with them for over 2 years. April of 2016 they decide to cap data to 250GB. I didn't worry since we never used that much data. All of a sudden, I start being charged for overages every month!! Today, when I called and spoke to Mike (manager) he informed me that I had used 19GB so far today. How is this possible when no one is home?!?!?! Kids Xboxes are off and I'm using my mobile hotspot to work!! Yes, I have to use my mobile hotspot when working from home because their service is that horrible!! Please, I repeat, PLEASE DO NOT call these guys. They are absolutely HORRIBLE and their service is $$hit!! Find another fixed wireless provider in your area. Settle for Satellite is you have to. Thanks, Carla read more

I saw a review or two below specifically complaining about data caps. It is not DSL or WiFi. The technology is better compared to a cellphone network. What can you expect when there's only so much bandwidth to go around? The data cap is much larger than what you can get from a cellphone or satellite provider. I'd feel quite confident streaming SD video all month on Razzolink's cap. (well, not 24/7, but who does that?) N.B. I'm not currently a customer since their technician couldn't find a signal when I first called two years ago, probably due to trees. I'm thinking of asking them to try mounting the antenna on one of those trees, since the other side is fairly clear. read more

After a dozen years with Exceed/Wildblue, Razzo Link is a dream. We never come close to reaching the limit of gigs used. for the first time we can watch as many movies as we want, whenever we want. Even stream Pandora! and You Tube! No problems. With Exceed they would shut me down after 10 gigs, which went really fast. then, I could buy 1 gig for $10 and it would be gone in a flash. I love Razzo Link. Several of my neighbors use it. read more

This is the worst service anywhere. We travel often and use the internet out of necessity and this is the most unreliable we have ever seen. Complaints are ignored, nothing has gotten better in 10 years. If another service was available in our remote area we would thumb our noses at razzolink and switch in a second. read more

Our dish was blown onto our roof from the storm on Wednesday night, Jan. 18. We called Thursday morning for a repair and left a phone number for callback. We received a call within the hour and a repair person was here at 11:55 on Friday. They were scheduled to arrive between 12PM and 4PM so we were expecting someone to show up around 3:30 or 4PM. They actually arrived BEFORE noon. Imagine our surprise. We now happily have our internet back. We are extremely impressed with Razzolink's response and professionalism in handling this matter and would recommend the company to any and all. Thank you Razzolink read more

This service is garbage. We pay for the highest business internet line and it only trickles out like 5 mb/s when they promise 15mb/s on a good day. Trash, just like most things in this area. read more

The customer service is alright, you're going to have to deal with them alot. The product itself is awful. Which ever connection you pay for will be throttled after a weeks time but it will be just enough to keep you online. If you want to stream videos you will be buffering longer than the actual video and if you want to play online games, you'll be kick out more games then you finish. Save your money. read more

First let me start by saying I live in a rural area where our options are limited for wifi. I have become a fan of Razzolink for a few reasons. To start with, I've got to be honest and say it was not always so but they have changed some things around and have won me over. First - they are a smaller company, which is a plus, I like small companies and like being able to call and actually speak to a live body. The past few times I had issues these guys were on it. Recently, due to storms, wifi went out but I called and a guy had showed up at my house, and re-positioned the receiver for me and by the time i got home from work, my wifi was working. Next - pricing. very competitive. Maybe even more competitive than most. Billing - easy - sign up for autopay, they send you a receipt by email, and that's a piece of cake. Support - again, I think they have definitely improved. You can call and you will speak to someone. If you are waiting you have the option of pressing a button and they call you back. And THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK!!! My advice if you need ISP is to call Razzolink. Give them a chance. They will provide good service at a competitive price. The more they grow, the more people they can hire which means even better service. I personally have liked dealing with Michael and Dustin. read more

We had Exede satellite internet for a couple years. The speed was decent but the data caps were super annoying. We switched to Razzolink, under their Business Plan which is roughly what we were paying for Exede's best package (~$175 monthly), and we have been very pleasantly surprised by how fast and reliable it has been. We saw some of the negative reviews and were very worried...but after several months we have had a great experience. The single bad experience we've had is that a planned outage took several hours longer than planned. Not one single issue beyond that. read more

Razzolink is long on promises and short on delivery. They promise 10mbps but on a good day barely deliver 5mbps. Look hard for alternatives before you consider Razzolink. read more

I have been a customer for only 120 days and purchased a router through Razzolink when they installed dish. First router did not work (found out right after tech left), so they had to come back out and replace. The same brand was installed the 2nd time and now it is not working. When I called to troubleshoot, we found out that the router was not working, that is why I had no internet. So, I got my own router, which cost much less than what they charged and it is superior to the brand they carry. I wanted a refund on the un-working router and they are saying that they don't guarantee after 30 days. I am stuck paying for something that does not work!!!! CUSTOMER BEWARE: Do NOT purchase a router through them, they don't guarantee them and they don't tell you that. Get your own!!!! Terrible customer service!! Why did they not indicate that when I purchased it the first time OR when they came back out to replace the 1st one???? Very upset..... read more

No internet for 12 days! Terrible service. Have been given the run around for sure. Made appt and no one showed up. Have called and called and called with no results if you have any other choice for internet service other than razzolink, take it! Very frustrating. read more

You bunch of turds cry too much. You dont like Razzolink then go sign up for Exede satellite internet. You'll be begging to come back.

Both Barbara and John called me to resolve the issues I was having with Razzolink. Both of them have worked very hard and diligently to make sure I was satisfied and happy with the outcome, which I am. Although it took some time, Razzolink customer service came through for me and fixed all of the problems I was having. They worked hard and ran tests to make sure their service was operating at peak performance. Actually I had kinda blown the whole thing off but they kept after it to make sure I was happy with the service. Kind of a surprise in this day and age. Verizon could learn a thing or two from these people. What they have proven is that if you have a problem with their service, call them up and stay with it because after all id said and done they will make it right. read more

Their service just plain sucks!!! Upgraded to their 10MG system several months ago. From the very start the system was down, or so slow as to be useless. Call after call to customer support gave a variety of excuses and assurances, but the service was nevr what was promised on a consistent basis. The only thing consistent was the bill due!!. I have had more that one IT person indicate they have heard the same problem from numerous other customers. Rob was always helpful on the phone, but could never resolve the issue completely. I finally had to switch to an expensive Verizon service to assure we could would have interenet access during the work day ( the time when service would slow to a halt). Now we're moving out of the area, (thank god), I called to turn off the service and was reminded I signed a 2 year contract for the crappy service and there was a $250 early termination fee. Of course they never offered to reimburse me for all of the time I was paying for a system that didn't live up to their description. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider using this company. The only thing they are efficient at is charging you money for a service they have a hard time providing. read more

Lets get one thing straight this is the only internet service provider I can get I live in the Hollister area and this is a really bad service the only reason I don't give it a 1 is that sometimes it works and when it does it works pretty well but that is so far in between that it just gets frustrating I pay for the top package I can get $79 a month it says speeds of 10 megabytes a second I constantly get between one and two megabytes a second I've called and asked about this and the guy on the phone said that that's normal how is it that I'm paying for the top package and not getting what I pay for it gets ridiculous sometimes the guy on the phone always say just reset the router acting like I'm stupid I know how all this crap works even when I do that it's still bad like I said occasionally I'll get really good days and it really doesn't depend on the weather it's just random the most I've got was about 18 megabytes a second download and 9 megabytes upload I've even called and complained and they replaced my satellite dish for free because I made them with all my complaining and for a while it worked I was happy with the service and the ping was a heck of a lot better than it used to be but just the speeds are still low razzolink I would happily give you five stars if your internet was good and I'm just being honest this isn't good at all read more

Razzo Link - I pay for the top package which says speeds of 10 megabytes a second and this is what I get terrible - Internet Service Providers Near Me

I am shocked that Barbara thinks it's appropriate to post people's usage data in public (by the way you mean GB, not gbps). I saw it on several other reviews, she uses her position at the company to look you up from your yelp information, maybe the ip address that posted the review and calls people out for their bandwidth and service center calls. That is slimy and scary. I am not even the account holder, i just use the service. I got on yelp to warn to warn prospective customers about the data limit and the slow speeds, seems I am not the only one upset at them.. When I need customer service I will contact you directly. I am highly offended by Barbara's response, acting like I am doing something wrong. I dearly hope another provider comes our way. I wouldn't call it "rural," thank you very much. You have violated our privacy on the heels of capping our bandwidth. UPDATE: My service is now "offline" and a call to customer service says they will check on it and call me back tomorrow. I find that highly suspicious. read more
