Great but it can get frustrated with customers service but there is people that will help you.

I have HAD to be a Spectrum wifi customer in my apartment building due to a monopoly. I cut my cable as it was too expensive and they never documented I had called. They charged me for two months of service even after the equipment was returned. They fought tooth and nail for that money and got it. Now they raised the prices on the sketchy wifi to be just as much as when I had cable and wifi. I would never be a customer if I had a choice. The wifi goes out regularly and you do not get credit unless you call and demand it. They will take every penny they can get. read more

This particular store in Watsonville had awful customer service when I was there this evening. Yes they were understaffed so I understood it would be a bit of a wait but in the hour I was waiting they allowed three separate people to walk in and get immediate service, cutting the rest of the people waiting in the queue! And the 2 employees were well aware of that which is just insulting to the rest of the consumers who've been waiting. What's the point of having people sign in and wait for their name to be called in order if they just let some people completely disregard it?! A couple of those people were pretty quick in and out, one of them was a group of two that took over 20 minutes while I was there and were still being helped when I left. My inquiry was a quick thing too and I still had to wait in the queue. Plus it was shortly before they closed and had locked the doors because they had more than enough customers to help before closing. Three separate times I counted someone come try to open the door, an employee go explain to them the situation just for her to let them in and help them right away! And these weren't people with appointments either. The screen had a separate lists for appointments queue and walk in queue. The walk in queue was long while the appt queue had one single name on it the entire time I was there and was not checked off after helping any of these people. It was just complete disregard for their own protocol by the two employees working and total disrespect to the customers waiting for their turn to be helped. read more

Internet Service is spotty. Service technicians are great though. No other real choices in our area so you just deal with it.

horrible cust service, walked in and it's not the first time this lady is very rude and not helpful, I saw this worker being very rude to an older woman who was just trying to understand how to use a Mobil phone and I have had several experiences with the is lady She is always very moody and rude. I did not get her name she has a very visible mole in her face and is a little darker skin. I am very disappointed with her customer service. Everything. I just moved into a new apartment in Capitola at the Capitola Mansion Apartments and it seems like something shady is going on, I was told after moving into that I was only allowed to get my internet service through Spectrum which is located out in Wattsonville. I've never had any place I've resided tell me that I was required to go through one specific internet provider for services. I know that they are lying when they tell me that it's the only provider that can get you to even help you acquire any service. When I checked yelp i immediately became concerned when I saw one star and not one single comment about them being a good company. I read a few that were extremely helpful in explaining their unfortunate horror stories and outrageous experiences that they suffered from a wide variety of issues they individually encountered with this ridiculously rude and unethical company. If anyone has had experience with the company or has any advice on how I could possibly get to the root of whether or not the apartment complex is allowed to make you go through this one company I would greatly appreciate it. I'm on low income housing and qualify to be in programs that would allow my internet to be extremely inexpensive but I'm not sure how to switch to their programs when I'm being told that I have to use theirs and on the government's website the list of companies that they have listed for me to inform them of my service provider so I can switch I noticed that they don't even recognize spectrum as a company that even offers internet services I my area. Do not send a phone to Spectrum. I returned a pristine iPhone per their return procedure. I was told the phone screen had four large scratches. There were no scratches when I sent it via FedEx enclosed in the original box and placed in a second box. When I protested the allegation I was advised there was nothing I could do. As a new customer, I had called ahead of time to the spectrum to set up my new service for internet wifi. When I was on the call they asked me a bunch of questions including if I wanted to change phone lines and I said I wasn't interested. When I went to go pick up my router, there was 4 people in there, one was the manager I assume. I wasn't greeted even tho there was no one else in the store. Everyone was on their phone and the manager was on her laptop. It was a few awkward moments later a lady said she could help me out. I was confused of the staff not saying anything, for a minute I thought they were closed but then I had seen that they are still hiring online but the store isn't busy at all? The lady who helped me was fairly nice but again she tried to offer me more services and I was like I'm not interested in anything else ok. And the manager and her gave me a look as if I had said something wrong. Anyways, she did her job. And I know it's a slow season but not even greeting someone when they come in and me being a new customer made me feel unwanted. read more

My bill keeps going up. The service stinks. For the past 3weeks the menu is not available. Why? I get my statement only about 4 days before the due date. I mail it and they charge me a late fee. I wish Comcast was available here. How is it that it is not offered in Morgan Hill? We should have all options available not just two substandard companies. 11/26/24, Watsonville CA A pattern of numerous malpresentations by employees that promised certain outcomes that were never able to be delivered as promised which resulted in unjust compensation from me and a waste of time, ending in cancellation of my account. First Misrepresentation: I wanted to purchase a phone and have phone service that allowed one phone to be used for my business and personal phone number. The sales person indicated that a Galaxy A35 would handle to task which I purchased. When I attempted to add my personal phone number to the purchased business phone I was informed that spectrum would only allow one account to be installed on the phone. If I wanted a second phone number I would need to use a different company than spectrum. I had to return the phone and get a A15. Second Misrepresentation: Now I have 2 phones. I wanted the business phone to be auto paid with my business credit card and my personal phone phone with my personal credit card. I was told that I would need to create a new account. When I attempted to create a new account, I was informed that I would need to add internet service, which I currently had with my personal phone number to open the account. When I wanted to move the phone to a different carrier, I was told that I would not be able to unlock the phone for 60 days since I received the phone. I could not prepay the 60 days of service. I would not transfer the phone until the 60 days from the original purchase had occurred. Had I known the true facts from the employees, I would never have purchased the phone or the service. The fact that charter does not have customer service at the corporate level indicates to me that abusing customers has not negative consequences, except by word of mouth from abused customer, or by reading review on BBB, which does not accredit the Charter/Spectrum company. FCC needs to investigate this company. Their sales agent scammed senior tenants to get service started. Elderly and disabled people are a protected group. This sales agent accessed tenant information with help of the Property management company, giving out our information to Spectrum. The sales agent went so far as setting up a phony account to start the service I wasn't ready to start, and had not authorized to start. Spectrum sales rep had access to enter that account UNDER MY NAME and make changes....well of course he set it up, so he could access it. these complaints were noted and I made spectrum customer service aware of--they swept it under the rug. It made a mess of the ACP account, because I gave ACP my correct information and it didn't match Spectrum's account they set up, with incorrect information. It was the government's ACP PEOPLE that untangled the mess and exposed Spectrum as the source that had created their own account for me without my authorization. I had to spend hours back and forth with ACP and Spectrum to clean up Spectrum's mess. But it didn't end there, problems with service, billing and customer service hasn't stopped. read more

Tried speaking to someone about being charged for a CLOSED account that at the time when the account was closed I was told I owed NOTHING and they released my phone number. This guy named RICK was so rude and was not helpful. He would not explain fully why the charge was occurring and just kept saying "that's how our company works". I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and was told we could only wait exactly 2 minutes for a supervisor because "that's their policy" and then was told I had to wait 24 hours for a call back. Spectrum is useless. The internet went out. They have people working in the neighborhood but the people at customer service had no idea that any internet service was out or that they had even people working in the neighborhood. Then they said it would be three days before someone would come to fix it. Im sure they will still charge me for the entire month though. read more

Started phone service for two phones, included one new phone and one transferred . Very smooth process and great help with the new iphone, It was fully transferred when we left the store. Even better it is 1/2 the price of our previous carrier. Nice new location and helpful staff read more

Recently disconnected services and was told by Spectrum customer service I could drop off hardware at store, drive 45 minutes to store and was told I could only return the internet hardware at a UPS center. Very misleading information no help at all. read more
