The accounting department is questionable. I picked up a watch repair on January 8. I was charged twice for the repair. I notified the Hinsdale store on February 1st. I was told it would be taken care of in two days. Still no credit, I called them again on February 15. A credit was posted on the 16th. A few days later another credit was issued. I didn't realize it until the store called explaining the glitch. I gave them my credit card number and it was resolved immediately. Too bad my request wasn't solved that quickly. Lois at the Hinsdale store was helpful, but their accounting department not so much. Will not be doing business with them or recommending them. Will use my original jeweler, Peacock, in the future. read more

This review is waaaaay overdue! The entire crew has been nothing but welcoming and helpful. I've been a customer since 2019 and have received nothing but extraordinary service. My wife's engagement ring and wedding band needed to be resized and not only did they do a beautiful job it was done for no charge! Did I mention that we did not buy that jewelry originally from them but needless to say we have been buying our jewelry from them since. I've been in the market to purchase a new Rolex Submariner and it's been frustrating as no authorized dealers carry any. When calling around, I contacted this location and spoke to Lois. To my surprise, she had the exact watch I was looking for in stock. I was able to secure it with a down payment and purchased it a few days later. When visiting the store, I was treated like family. Lois was exceptional throughout the entire transaction. The watch was sized immediately and looks AMAZING. My wife, my daughter and I went to Razny in Hinsdale this past weekend. It's local to us, but even if you don't live in the area, I'd highly recommend visiting this store. The employees there are awesome. Whether it's your first time in the store or you've shopped there previously, they always treat you like family. Lois helped us, and she was amazing. She went above and beyond and was extremely helpful. My wife didn't know exactly what she was looking for going in, and sometimes when you walk into a jewelry store without a set goal it can be a bit daunting. But Lois made us extremely comfortable right away. We felt no pressure to buy, and she happily pulled out any items we asked to look at and try on. She offered suggestions and was very knowledgeable about all of the pieces. My wife ended up purchasing a ring, and we couldn't be happier with the entire shopping experience. I had been looking for a Rolex Air King to add to my collection and have as a casual/dress watch. I thought it was interesting looking but had never seen one in person. I called to check availability and spoke to Stephanie who explained there was not one in stock but could have one brought from another location. I received a text a day or so later asking when I wanted to come view it. I had set an appointment for a Saturday but missed it due to work. Now mind you, I had been shopping all over. I dropped in this Saturday and saw the watch but didn't much like it. Immediately we started looking at other models and I was fixated on the GMT ii BLNR. What a beautiful watch. Didn't take me long to decide with above and beyond service from Stephanie. While she was getting it ready I jumped on my mobile device and shopped the price. My original diamond came from Raznys, so I went there to to see my options for upgrading. It was a little annoying because the Hinsdale location doesn't keep much stock of loose diamonds and their selection of bands is very limited. Everything I wanted to see had to be brought in. It was wonderful that they were willing to bring them in for me asap. However, I could sense annoyance when the diamonds or bands came in and I didn't like them. The main reason for my two star review is that I wanted a Beautiful, Quality diamond. The diamond selection for a two carat were all in the SI and I clarity, one was a VS2 range- but extremely high priced. NONE of the diamonds had information about their cut quality (good to excellent). It was obvious when I would see the diamond that it was not a beautiful, quality diamond. When I would make comments, the Razny employee would make remarks like "oh, you can see that" or "oh, wow, really, no one is going to be looking that closely at your diamond." The one blond, heavier, middle aged woman who worked there wasn't helping me. She was very loud every time I came in. She made a comment to me the last time I decided to come in. She made remarks to the degree of me not knowing what I was seeing. I was always pleasant, and never said anything to their comments. However, it really bothered me, hence this review. No one will ever look closer at my diamond than Me. Only a person who knew nothing about diamonds would buy the diamonds that were presented. I actually did ask if people really buy these diamonds. The sales lady shrugged and said yes, "people who chose not to see the flaws." I did take my business somewhere else. Please do your homework when looking for a diamond, otherwise you will be throwing your money away. I did find my upgrade- quality and beauty... and price at another galleria. Do your homework and do not let people pressure you into their limited selection. read more
