I had some gold jewelry sitting around that I figured was time to sell. After a good bit of researching online I landed on Chicago Gold Gallery as the place to go. (They also have an A+ rating with the BBB.) I popped in Saturday afternoon and was promptly greeted and taken care of. Two pieces I brought in we're not real gold and he was quick to identify them while thoroughly looking at every other piece for the karat marker or doing scratch tests. (I brought in a variety of gold pieces, two silver necklaces, and a pearl necklace. They buy more than just gold!) After about 15 minutes I was on my way out with a heftier than I expected check.
