I found a St Vincent's near me on 108 Street in West Allis where they appreciate anything you donate and I appreciate they are helping people who need help. St Vincent's is out there trying to help people with their proceeds: The proceeds from each of the Thrift Stores go directly to the programs and services that deliver hope and help to people in need. The $50 that you spend in a SVdP Thrift Store can turn into the rent or utility payment that keeps a family warm and in their home. The people at these stores work hard to keep their stores very clean and organized and the price low. Their prices are well below any store prices. Please try to be more charitable in your comments.

I stopped in to pick up a few items and, as usual, left with a few more than I had planned. They had a great selection of cakes in the bakery, so I couldn't resist bringing one home. I was also looking for pea pods in the produce department but couldn't find them. When I asked an employee for help, they didn't just point me in the right direction. It's become a daily routine over the past couple of years to stop in after work and either bum around, or do my grocery shopping. I'm legit here every day. The night time employees know me well. What my issue is sounds dumb, but I'm representing a LOT of people when I say this, but this place needs to start enforcing the rule of camping out in front of the building for pokemon cards. I've talked to so many other collectors about this, and everyone is frustrated that Meijer tells everyone the earliest anyone can wait in line for cards is 5am. Sounds great, makes it fair for everyone. The issue is they don't enforce it. I've been trying to get my hands on 30th celebration products since they came out and it's impossible to get. So I decided to pull up to meijer at 5am on Friday last week so I could buy some. There were already 50 people in line. I still decided to wait, and I ended up getting nothing. Turns out they were parked there overnight and already started lining up at 1-2am. Unlike these scummy scalpers, I actually have a full time job, and I cannot wait in line that early. They're completely ignoring the rules. I was talking to one of the ladies that usually works nights and she told me to talk to the customer service desk because it's unfair, and they should be enforcing the rule. Fast forward a couple days, I come in before work to talk to customer service, and they tell me that they don't enforce it, they just tell people not to show up earlier than 5, but they don't actually care and won't do anything about it. Why tell people not to show up that early and just not actually enforce it? These people showing up that early aren't actually collectors, they're just scalpers that are buying the product and reselling it at triple the price since they broke the rules and beat everyone else to it. I know in the grand scheme of things, I am merely a little spec compared to their whole customer base, but I'm representing a whole lot of people. Meijer needs to do something about this. Treat your actual customers well. Either make a better system for buying Pokémon cards, or enforce the rule you guys have to combat scalpers. Create a number ticket system. Starting at 5, the people that got there after 5, give them a number, and go down the line until the end, and then once you get to the end of the line, then go back to the front and the people who broke the rules and got there before 5 gets the last numbers since they're entitled and think rules don't apply to them. Meijer, please do something about this. Don't advertise rules that you won't enforce. Treat your actual customers and regulars well. Don't reward scalpers for breaking the rules.

The store is kept quite orderly for a resale thrift store. I have one maybe not a huge complaint but more of an annoyance. Where are the bags? I mean come on after checking out it would be nice to receive my items in a bag. I don't wanna purchase one of yours or bring my own. My friend walked out with a bunch of clothes loose in her arms. I went to exchange a pair of sandals that I purchased at a different location that were the wrong…read moresize. The sandals were very obviously not worn, I had my original receipt, and I had the tag. The only issue was I had cut the tag off. They refused to make the exchange or do a return because the tag had been cut, even though I still had the tag. According to the Maurice's return policy on their website, I only need my receipt to do a return or exchange, not the tags. I wish I would have thought to look up the return policy when I was still there instead of leaving with the same pair of sandals that do not fit.
