Social media can definitely influence my decisions. Clothing deals every week and goods seem to move very quickly week to week. I was offered a customer rewards code I normally wouldn't get one but They are building another store near me it was a fast registration. I've enjoyed both visits browsing the old sporting goods housewares and books. If I'm in the neighborhood I will definitely be buying here again. 14/2023 Ambiance 4 organized prices were marked on everything with color code tags for discount days weekly Service 5 Location 5 plenty of parking even for the weekends Value 5 they had an older used tilt stand mixer for 49.99 with all the accessories.

That was it for me. I have been cleaning out my home to get ready for sale and have taken over six truck loads to them. I found a St Vincent's near me on 108 Street in West Allis where they appreciate anything you donate and I appreciate they are helping people who need help. St Vincent's is out there trying to help people with their proceeds: The proceeds from each of the Thrift Stores go directly to the programs and services that deliver hope and help to people in need. The $50 that you spend in a SVdP Thrift Store can turn into the rent or utility payment that keeps a family warm and in their home. The people at these stores work hard to keep their stores very clean and organized and the price low. Their prices are well below any store prices. Please try to be more charitable in your comments.

A bottle of pharmacy vitamins, a box of rice and two packs of chicken. Easy enough to test order pick-up. After that, I went inside and did my walking around. I even asked the door attendant about sandwiches. He not only told me where they were, he walked me over there. At the checkout, I asked the cashier to give me my three dollars change in quarters (while watching body language for eye-rolls and pronounced disrespectful exhales). This chipper, professional and happy cashier was smiles the whole time. This speaks volumes for how an employer is treating the help, and down the line, how the help treats guests. The store is really clean and organized. This business would make a great example setter for competitors. Will I be a return customer? You better believe it! I was extremely happy with my visit, and have absolutely nothing even near negative to say. I highly recommend shopping here. Incessant Research (Not for hire) Investigative Journalism and Research

How come no one is talking about Meijer more?!?!…read more I recently rediscovered how nice Meijer is! This location has always been clean with a great selection of products, from produce, meat and bakery to home goods and clothes! It'll be your one stop shop for everything. They have great deals on meat and produce often and have super cute housewares and clothes! Their baby/kid selection is fantastic! Especially for baby needs(meds, soap, random feeding items). I wish they had a registry! Make sure to download their app and save $$ when shopping by clipping electronic coupons and earning points each purchase to be redeemed for $ off your future purchases. The customer service desk has always been very helpful too!

The store is kept quite orderly for a resale thrift store. I have one maybe not a huge complaint but more of an annoyance. Where are the bags? It is just odd to me.

West Bend, WI Goodwill White rocking chair fiasco 8/24/21…read more "I shopped at the West Bend, WI store today with a friend I was visiting. I am from IL, she is from WI. I found a large white whicker rocking chair at this store that I loved. There were 3 white adult sized rocking chairs; a smaller one, medium sized and this tall one I decided to purchase. Following the Goodwill's terms of taking the carbon papers describing the chair, its cost, item # & facts of keeping the paper description and leaving the simple tag on the chair, I continued to shop with my friend. At the checkout line, we could see the chair I purchased and we proceeded to the checkout clerk. I paid for the chair & many other items, totaling around $86. I drove around to the back to pick up my chair, no one came back with it after five+ minutes. We drove back around to the front and in pouring rain, I went back in to find out where my chair was. Come to find out, some other clerk sold it to someone else about the same time as me! This other buyer had the receipts for the 2 smaller rockers, but LIED and said he'd dropped the description tag papers on the floor in the store and couldn't find (which was a lie because I had them that I took off the chair myself before this man ever laid eyes on the chairs.) The sales clerk did NOT follow Goodwill's protocol and rule that if the shopper does NOT have the description tag papers, there will be NO SALE! But instead, she sold it to him anyways! No effort was made to page overhead if someone had the receipt to a tall white wicker chair to please come to the checkout counter. Nor was this man prevented from taking an item he did NOT had the sales tag papers for! Sooo, when the employees realized what happened, I was told they would they would refund part of the cost I'd just paid for this rocker, deducting 20% of its sale and giving me a postcard for 20% of my next purchases as this store or another in the Wis. SE region! I am from northern IL! I'm visiting from 3.5 hours south of here! I don't shop Goodwill of Chicago nor the Milwaukee area. And why, when the staff messes up, do I not get an entire refund for the chair cost, + more than 20% off my next shopping at Goodwill in this region?! And why didn't they try to track down this lying cheat who just bought these chairs? I would imagine he used a debit card and they had 2 other sets of papers describing the other 2 white wicker rockers, that he also purchased? I am HIGHLY disgusted with this store and will tell everyone I know how awful they are at following their own protocol and the terrible way they treat their customers. "
