Brought my 14 year old Corolla in for its smog check and left 15 minutes later with a passing certificate. Thank you Ray's!

Good price ($28 less than other garage), fast service, and free retest for smog test and cert.

Went for a smog check. Quick and inexpensive. Also polite and friendly. I'll come back.

When I first called, Ryan was upfront and honest about their scheduling timeline and let me know they were typically booked about a week and a half out. I didn't schedule immediately because I wanted to compare quotes from other shops, but after calling around I decided to call them back a couple days later. Ryan confirmed the same availability window and unfortunately their next opening was the day after our road trip was supposed to begin. I thanked him anyway and figured we were out of luck. Then, about 5-10 minutes later, Ryan called me back personally and said he had reached out to some of his morning appointments for the next day and was able to fit me in if I could do an early drop-off. That kind of effort is rare. He didn't have to do that, but he went out of his way to help us out knowing we had an important trip coming up. They completed the much-needed work on the vehicle and took a stressful situation completely off our plate. That small gesture earned them a new loyal customer. Honest communication, real customer care, and willingness to go the extra mile still matter, and Ryan absolutely delivered on all three.

This is one of those small town shops where you are on a first name basis with everyone there, and the biggest thing is trust. Owner replys (we cannot give you a price on the lube because on a oil change and it comes with a free lube) I told him its senseless to get an oil change with a small leak. Im adding oil every few days. I just need the lube job. After arguing with him for a few more minutes I caved and brought the car in for the oil change and free lube. This process took 10 minutes and I went in to pay. It was a whopping $78.00 for this service. The owner then told me that sence 1997 and newer the auto manufacturers dont put the lube nipples in so you cannot lube the car. So basically you knew this before and didn't tell me. I spent $78.00 on a oil change that I didn't need or want to get the lube job that I needed and wanted, just not to get it. I will NEVER go this this business again and will not recommend this business to any of my friends.

On my last visit they stripped the front differential drain bolt. They also didn't put all the bolts back in my skid plate and didn't tighten the oil filter properly. Oil leaked all over my truck and I lost a significant amount of oil. I'm honestly lucky my engine wasn't damaged. On top of that, the staff was rude and the waiting area chairs are filthy. Basic attention to detail and cleanliness should not be this hard. The only reason I kept coming back was because they're open on weekends, but after this experience I won't be returning.
