(This review is about the skincare products that are offered at this spa. The spa owner also runs a…read moreskincare line.) First and foremost, Vae is an outstanding human being. She's kind, understanding (I've missed my initial pickup time a time or two and this review is WELLLL OVERDUE p.s. I'm sorry girl) and you can tell she's very humble. OH, AND HER SMILE IS CONTAGIOUS! Aside from all of that, this is a beautifully black owned business! She's proud of that and I am, too! But trust me when I tell you, all colors and skin types are welcome! And with a little self-discipline and a simple but meaningful skincare routine, you'll be writing a review like this is no time! Her customer service is above and beyond. She's definitely putting the ALL in small business, it's very easy to see. Rose/Cucumber Toner : I spray this on my damp face, immediately after I shower. Very hydrating, not sticky... a good base for my sensitive skin. 5% Glycolic Acid Toner: I spray this on my damp face, immediately after I shower, if I'm having a breakout and/or if I notice that I am drier than usual. Also very hydrating but may tingle a little when applying, if you have open/broken skin. I don't think it's anything to be alarmed about. I noticed a slight tingle, but no negative reaction visible. 10% Niacinimide Serum: I apply this after the Toner. This helps with the inflammation that comes along with my acne. Overall, it evens out my complexion. Not sticky, at all and super light. Also, I feel like it really snatches my pores tight! DREAM Moisturizer: I apply this after the Serum. This product is literally a game changer. I have struggled to find something that wasn't heavy, that didn't clog my pores but that left me feeling moisturized since my teenage years. Not anymore! Again, super light and creamy but it packs a punch! I also LOVE that it is fragrance free. It leaves my face feeling sooo soft and HYDRATED! I also use this on my cracked hands during the winter! It heals them in 1-2 days. Monarch Facial Oil: I apply this after the Moisturizer. This really ties it all together, for me. A little goes a long way, it is an amazing protective barrier!!! It definitely adds to the GLOW! PLUS, this is my favorite way to start my double cleanse. Massage this into my face for 8-12 minutes and watch the impurities dissolve. Then I follow up by cleansing and religiously following my routine from start to finish. Calming Balm: I apply this to areas that I shave/wax/tweeze, immediately after cleansing. This has worked wonders for my tendency to suffer from typical "razor burn". I would say it has significantly improved those experiences for me as it calms and hydrates my skin; so, regrowth is not nearly as irritable. Love that you can see the ingredients! Exfoliating Lactic Acid Mask: MY MIND IS BLOWN. I do get occasional acne but my main struggle has always been blackheads. This product dissolves them, no joke, in 5 minutes!? Yes, you can literally feel it working. And leave my pores super tight! Where has this been all my life!? Healing Lip Balm (Peppermint): I love how smooth this goes on. I like to use it at night and in the mornings during my skin care routines. A little goes a long way, it definitely leaves my lips moisturized through the night. Just don't leave it in the car during the summer! Stay Peachy Booty Scrub: There is no exfoliating scrub out there that can even hold a candle to this fire ! My skin feels like butter, every time I use it. And yes, I use it all over (elbows, knees, legs, booty cheeks, etc...) about once a week. Stay Peachy Booty Dew: I love using this after using the scrub! These are typically my shaving/waxing nights and/or the following few nights. Not sticky, smells amazing, love the hydration! Oh, and again, the GLOW! Eczema Body Bar: Hands down one of the only two soaps that clear my dry skin patches in the winter... no "squeaky" clean feeling, I feel soft, moisturized... I love the smell and the texture. It also lathers really well. My skin is the healthiest and happiest it has ever been! I haven't had a breakout or dry patch since I started using these products (about a year ago)!!!! I can't wait to try the Gentle Flower Feminine Wash, the Sensitive Face Wash and the Whipped Body Creams! And whatever else is in the works! 'Cause baby, I'm a customer FOR LIFE!

The Yelp map makes it look like it's on the main street facing Clay Terrace, but it is definitely on the side. They only had one person working on a Saturday morning. She was fast and accurate with the brow threading. She anticipated my personal flaws. My brows don't grow the same, and has scar tissue under the hair where hair can't grow. She kept me very natural looking with my shaping, and she got all my peach fuzz waxed off my lip and chip and followed up with the thread. I can't wait to see what she does with my lashes on my lunch break.

I had follow up appointments here for my surgery!…read more A+++ THE Most Professional and kind surgeon much beyond all plastic surgeons in indiana! Go here! Run don't walk to Sharper!! OTHER PLACES NO MANNERS: I also wish everywhere wasn't so bad! I put off my surgery about 4 years due to OTHER places making jokes TO MY FACE. I even went to women surgeons who were still incredibly rude and hurtful. all of them didn't just turn down my surgery needs they roasted me and some called in coworkers to laugh at me and what I needed. Other than Sharper I have a lasting hatred of plastic surgeons because of all the consultations I went to in indiana searching for an open minded surgeon. SHARPER BEDSIDE MANNER: I finally went to Sharper! They were very understanding of the emotional toll I was experiencing from my body problems! They never made fun of me and they knew I was struggling just by seeing my shape and they knew it effected my ability to live a typical life. So with them and doctor Harper I got my surgery done! GREAT SCAR RECOVERY: They were very cautious for my scarring because I needed a very tricky situation. They shaped the scar to be curving and very flattering looking on the body. At this point now I can't even see the scar so it's double perfect! And it was a huge surgery for me. About 1/13th of my body weight taken off. And no it's not a common surgery I do not think anyone can guess what it was. So the scar was completely unavoidable and very difficult to complete this well. The scar is 19 inches long, and my body circumference there is only 31.5 inches, so it was a huge task, but it's a perfectly done scar considering I don't see it haha. RECOVERY: In about 6-8 weeks I was allowed and able to slowly go into exercising and getting blood flow back in my body. He did very well and kept all trauma to the body as minor as possible. I was very impressed how delicately he did such a tricky surgery! HAPPIER THAN HAPPY: I won't say what exact surgery, I will say this though, I feel like my life has been saved, and I WAS GIVEN A SECOND LIFE, and that my life started over. It was like everything bad that caused my need for surgery never even happened. I had so much physical pain and serious issues that happened everyday, and he helped me take away all of it. CHOOSE SHARPER FOR SURGERY! There aren't people out there like him. And the world needs more of him! I will say it looks like he's likely done 20 years of schooling and serious training prior to even opening a practice. I am very inspired by him and he helps people who are helpless and want a second chance at life. The emotional difference has been so positive. I get to live a boring and normal life now!!! It was very hectic and negative before because of how people perceived me. And I am so grateful for my life back. And I'm grateful the staff and Dr harper gave me respect and dignity on the way to giving me a life.

I've been many many different places including ones in malls, Walmart, and even beauty schools with students. This was the worse experience I've had. I walked in without an appointment (the sign and website says they welcome walk ins ) It took several minutes for the woman to come out of the back room. She didn't greet me or say anything at all, so I told her I was there for a brow wax. She asked if I had an appointment , when I said no, she was very rude and told me to make an appointment in advance next time. She said she could "squeeze me in this one time". There was absolutely no one there waiting and no one came in during my visit, so I'm not sure why she was rude and dramatic about me being a walk in. Normally I would expect they would be thankful for the extra business, especially during COVID times. As the cherry on top, she had headphones in BOTH ears and was speaking in other language and laughing on the phone the entire time she did my brows. I asked for my brows to be cleaned up and get the strays, as it hadn't been more than a month since I last had them, the shape was still clearly there. She made my eyebrows extremely narrow and with almost no shape/arch- just a thin line. I would NEVER go here again. Customer service was one of the worst experiences I've had getting waxed/threaded and it was a terrible job.

Hands down one of the most relaxing experiences I've ever had. I purchased multiple products and have been EXTREMELY impressed with the results. 10/10 worth the money for both the facial and the products. Thanks Kelli!
