I purchased a 2013 Sonata elsewhere this past weekend. Being a single woman in the market for a car, I'm sort of a walking target. I had insisted the dealership allow me to take the vehicle I was considering purchasing to a Hyundai dealership to have it checked out. Ray Skillman is a few blocks away from my company's warehouse...so it was the first place I thought to take it. I called on a Saturday morning to ask if they would be able to do an inspection. They did not have time, as it was Saturday (duh. You can tell I work a lot of weekends and don't think about that kind of thing) but Tony was kind enough to tell me I could bring it by for a VIN check. I did, and he told me some info about the vehicle. He then spent at least half an hour of his time checking the car out himself and recommending a few things that it might need in the next 10,000 miles. He even drove the car around for a few minutes to check the suspension for me. I was really impressed by his kindness and willingness to help someone who wasn't even making a purchase at their dealership. I did end up purchasing the car after he put my mind at ease about it, and took it in for service this morning to take care of a few minor things. The service advisor that took care of me this morning (I am horrible with names and my paperwork is in the car) was wonderful. He did not try pushing me in to anything I didn't need, and addressed what I did ask for. He kept me informed on what everything would cost the entire time. The waiting area itself was pretty impressive. There were several comfortable couches and chairs, as well as a larger table to sit at in case you need to work while you're waiting. It smelled like bacon when I got there since it was 7:15ish in the morning. I kept seeing people with cookies in there as time went on and finally figured out they make cookies there for the customers, haha. They had a few televisions, as well as gaming chairs, a phone charging station, and magazines. I saw people with coffee too. I didn't wander through the whole area but they try to make waiting as pleasant as possible it seems. I will definitely continue having my car serviced here.

I like this place. I leased a car from Ray Skillman Hyundai West 3 years ago. They were great in every way. This week I turned it in and have another 3 year lease on a brand new car. The best part of my experience is my sales associate, Henry Velasquez. He helped me with both transactions. He is knowledgeable, hard-working and most of all patient. I highly recommend this dealership! Ray Skillman is the only dealer in my lifetime where I have had two new car transactions.

I have nothing but great things to say about Matt, but that's the only positive thing I can recall from our experience. The car was absolutely filthy, like it had been driven through a field of dirt, both on the outside and inside. This is after we received a paper about the car claiming it had been detailed both inside and out. We were also given the car to test drive with 11 miles in the tank, almost as if they didn't want us to go very far. Keep in mind I had scheduled this appointment 4 days prior. There was plenty of time to put even a little gasoline into the car. When we asked about hearing the engine of another Kia to compare the sound of the one we were looking at, we were told that there were no other 4 cylinder Kia models in the lot to test this with. I instantly spotted one in the parking lot and had them pull it up to test, which ended up coming back okay. Our worst part of the experience was meeting with the general manager CJ, who absolutely ruined the deal for our hardworking salesman. He was flat out condescending and rude to both me and my father, in one instance saying that we shouldn't be worried about what's wrong with the brakes of the car, even though they couldn't tell us what's wrong themselves. It's a shame that a dealer like Andy Mohr Nissan has a general manager who treats his customers like this while actively trying to make a sale. It's even more of a shame he turned us away when we were leaning towards buying the car because of Matt's great service. I will never come back to this location as long as they have CJ as their general manager, and I recommend everyone else to do the same.

I always have a fear of being mishandled as a single woman at a dealership - but not once, in purchasing and servicing my car has that been the case! When I first arrived I was treated with much respect and met with Salma. She was superb and the car looked better than the pictures. I was very pleasantly surprised at the service. When I found a car that I liked, I was expecting them to not be transparent about the vehicle and then was shocked when they allowed me to take the car to a Lexus dealership for a complete Pre-Purchase inspection. No other dealership would allow such a request. I would highly recommend working with Salma and Indy Motors, you will be surprised at the service they offer and the delightful attitude of the sales team. Again, ask for Salma!

Literally the worst car experience of our entire lives (check their Facebook reviews) after buying…read morea car from them. We immediately had to drop at least $10,000 of work into it in THE FIRST MONTH. Since then we've had to put another $10,000 (still in the first 6 months). I UNDERSTAND cars have issues but we have not gone ONE WEEK without a MAJOR issue since buying this. The work we've had done in the first 6 months -new battery -new spark plugs(this was needed after Indy motors did work on it and did it incorrectly. It caused us to stall out on a major highway in Chicago) -new fuze box -new pistons and lifters -(Indy motors did this and it's already Broken & needs replaced- the shop said they did awful work) -suspension system -transmission (was needed literally the DAY we got it back from the initial repair at Indy motors) -new fuel gasket -exhaust bolts -struts -bad wiring -The Throttle Actuator -grill actuator -mass air flow sensor -catalytic converter- -new tires bc they put on 15 yr old tires on a 7 yr old car They are a complete scam (check their Facebook reviews) and I would not recommend them to anyone. The 2017 suburban we bought looked pristine and ran well on the test drive & three days later it was dead and since then it's been NON STOP problems. They have since ghosted us. They stopped replying & won't answer us. We also recently had a tire POP (again putting my kids in danger) and when we took it to the tire shop they said "where did you get this thing, it has 15 year old tires on it." The car is only 7 years old... Indy motors did fix the initial problem (which is now broken and they said it was done incorrectly and used "junky parts" ) ALSO when the car was delivered back to us from being at Indy motors it immediately needed a new transmission (like the same day we got it back) They have enough bad reviews on Facebook just like this, I'm not the only one. I've asked and asked for a full refund and have been ghosted. When we initially asked them to buy the car back they only would give us 15 for it after we bought it for 22. Make it make sense. They are dishonest, and have put my family in danger more than once. I honestly do not know how they sleep at night scamming young families and putting children in danger. I am almost confident that they KNEW this car was in a flood/ messed with the VIN/ didn't inspect it at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
