By our estimates from the invoice even removing the parts, equipment rentals from the local hardware and rental store, and the haul off of the old plumbing, we were charged in the ballpark of $500 an hour as part of the "base rate" for just (1-2) workers each of the two days. While the work was done quickly, we believe we were charged close to double what the work was worth. We would highly suggest looking elsewhere in the area for any plumbing work if you have any sort of reasonable budget.

Mike did call me and his comment to me was that they could "try to squeeze me in." I never said I "wasn't going to sit around and needed to move forward" while I was there. Since he said he would try to squeeze me in and get back to me again the next day, I patiently waited. No one called me. On Thursday, Mike called the homeowner I am helping and she handed me the phone to talk to him. I had no intention of calling another time. I reminded him that no one had called me back and that I had found another electrician. I was out of patience at that point. That's the actual story.

I am the current owner of the home where this contractor performed remodel work. The workmanship…read morewas extremely poor -- multiple installations were done incorrectly and below professional standards. The bathtub faucet was installed without proper bracing or support. It has repeatedly loosened and leaked. Even after they returned and claimed to fix it, the problem continued. When the issue was raised, they blamed the homeowners instead of admitting the defective installation. That response was dishonest and unprofessional. A local licensed contractor with over 20 years of experience reviewed the faucet installation and stated he had never seen one installed that way and called it unacceptable. In addition, the flooring was not properly supported. The locking tabs are now breaking and sections of the floor are failing. There were other incomplete and incorrect items as well. Overall, the workmanship was substandard and the handling of the problems was dishonest. I do not recommend this contractor. Update: The contractor has replied by claiming I am not the homeowner and that the photos show damage caused by the occupants. I am the current owner of the property -- the title is in my name. The issues shown (including the improperly braced faucet that has continued to leak and the flooring failures) are workmanship problems with the installation, not damage caused by the occupants. This issues began days to weeks after completion and all the pictures are from his recently completed installations with issues resulting from his poor workmanship.

This time, I was in the restroom when he arrived. He stated he arrived at 9:25am, as you can see in the attached photos. I made the attempt to call him immediately after hearing him ring the doorbell, so he would be aware of me being in the restroom. I even got notified on my ring camera if him leaving a minute later at 9:26am, as shown in the picture. I tried flagging him down, yelling his name, and calling him as he started his truck and took off. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I never had issues with the last representative that delivered, but with Charlie, it has been miserable. Because of this, I have canceled services and went with another gas company that is going to service for 2.47 per gallon. So in a way, this is also saving me more. Win win. Bye-bye blue star.
