Shasta who was recommended to me and left an urgent voice message for them to call me back. I'm still waiting for their call! When I read the reviews for Brian, I decided to give him a call. I could tell right away that I was talking with a professional, which was a huge relief, because I was in Los Angeles and my townhouse was leaking in Mt. Shasta! Brian went out to my place the next day and he was able to determine the source of the leaking, which was not immediately obvious. The HOA maintenance person had called a handyman to check it out but he could not determine the cause of the leak. Brian called me right away and communicated the issue very clearly. It was obvious that he knew his job well. Brian could have ripped out kitchen cabinets to get to the problem but he figured out how to access the leak via an outside wall, thereby causing the least amount of disruption to my tenant and me. I had a suspicion that the plumbers who worked on my townhouse while it was in escrow, did a sloppy job. During the escrow process the pipes had frozen and flooded the whole first floor. My neighbors living room also got flooded. Brian confirmed my suspicions; he saw that the pipes were not properly installed nor properly insulated, which caused them to freeze again and break. Brian went the extra step of leaving the wall open over the weekend to ensure that everything was dry before he closed up the wall. He also put some bleach in the area to ensure that no mold would form. Brian is amazing! He is an honest plumber. He charged me a very fair price and he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He was definitely worth the $85 initial fee to come out because this was credited to the repairs. I will definitely recommend Brian of Mt. Shasta Plumbing, over and over again to everyone.

By our estimates from the invoice even removing the parts, equipment rentals from the local hardware and rental store, and the haul off of the old plumbing, we were charged in the ballpark of $500 an hour as part of the "base rate" for just (1-2) workers each of the two days. While the work was done quickly, we believe we were charged close to double what the work was worth. We would highly suggest looking elsewhere in the area for any plumbing work if you have any sort of reasonable budget.

Something that should have taken no longer than three weeks has gone well over three months. Not sure why it's taking long since they routinely send out two guys to do the same job after each tiny portion of work is done incorrectly by first crew. They sent guys to do a flooring and didn't order enough materials - utter incompetence.. Had guys try to start work that wasn't approved due to lack of progress on first portion of the project. Lack of communication was inexcusable- expecting us to remain on standby in case they show up to work for a few hours, then not showing up at all. Lack of respect all around. Our doors were left open while they worked in our home and it ended up full of flies twice. They failed to secure our residence when leaving the home. They never laid paper down nor wore construction booties to protect our living space, so they tracked dust and mess everywhere. Came home to construction noise only, then had workers think it was okay to playing music and singing along. Had doors labeled "do not enter" and workers opened doors and entered rooms anyway. They left our lights on and we asked them to make sure they are turned off. They turned on extra lights and continue to leave them on each time. They worked here. When they would book an appointment to review their work and have things fixed that were still wrong, they never showed up on time. Their lack of professionalism, lack of common courtesy, utter disregard for customer private spaces and home sanctity is mind boggling. I don't recommend this company at all.
