They suggested I get it towed to their shop which I agreed too. They told me they will look at it, and give me a price before doing anything. It took two days for me to get a price or an update about my car even after asking multiple times. I asked multiple times for a price BEFORE working on my car they literally said they did the work anyway I have text messages showing me asking for them to not do anything work until I get a price which then the lady on the phone said "we already fixed it and THEN gave me a price ... which then they held my keys hostage because I was $5 short on payment, Because they wanted to upcharge me for using a card. I was yelled at by two different people. I stood outside their business for 30 minutes while they ignored me like children. The lady on the phone hung up on me multiple times. The guy at the shop told me "fuck u" I left literally shaking. I will never call this number again and I'll advise others not to do so or u might get ur car held hostage like I did. Thanks to Google and luck from above we found Cheever's Towing and Ron's Auto. We were in a position where we had no choice and could have been easily abused (think of the movie Vacation). I am writing this bc of the exact opposite. Both companies when out of their way to help me help my kid. Ron himself looked over the car, quickly got parts the next day and the car back on the road. We were in a bad situation and somehow feel better about it as he is leaving to go back to college with that same car. Honest, good people. Literally would trust them with anyone of my family cars.
