Avoid or think before trusting these guys. They charged me $822 for a simple alternator replacement which took just over 1 hour. When I asked why the bill was so high, the answer was an epic insult to my intelligence: Two guys were working to replace the alternator. When I checked the alternator prices at various online sellers, the most expensive was $250. Adding that to ~$20 belt + 2 hours of labor (1 hour of labor was $125) + $80 belt replacement = total max $600+tax! Total ripoff and dishonesty! read more

Could not recommend this place more. From the front desk to the owner and all of the guys working in the bays. Excellent service does not even define my experience. The owner went out of his way to make sure my high mileage car passed the emissions test. Both he and his front desk worker (Jen) took the time to explain the problem and how they were going to fix it. Due to the nature of the repair I had to return a few times but that is what it took. Have taken many cars here in the past for alignments. Just took my truck after I replaced my tierod a couple months prior and finally was able to put some new tires on. Wife Was inside shop and they came out to my about 25 min later and said that I need a new tierod. Apparently they had damaged mine breaking it loose and saying that mine was old and bad but still were going to charge for the alignment after my wife told them mine was under warranty and I'd replace it again. The owner had the audacity to tell my Wife that my truck can only have ac delco parts and she can take it take it and have her backyard mechanic husband work on It again. 1st my parts come from napa. 2nd i know the game, your parts are sourced from advanced auto or autozone not gm direct ac delco. You buy the bottom of the barrel parts and upsell them at dealer direct prices.. 3rd I have more years and have been retired from an auto shop longer than this owner has probably been able to drive. read more

To start I've been a customer of American Complete Auto Repair since the summer of 2021. I've also recommended them to other customers, and everything was great. Today however, I had the worst experience I've had. It came from ARTE EMMANOILIDIS. I went there in February of 2021 to get work done so I could pass emissions. I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville. I have various problems with this vehicle. They made the repairs, however my check engine lights was on due to issues with transmission. I was made aware of this and was told that I have to do what's called a Fall back emissions test because of the check engine light issues related to my transmission. I was finally able to do the fall back test and to my surprise I failed. Fortunately the emissions place gave me a wavier and I was able to get my plate sticker. So I returned to the auto shop to discuss what happened, because I was assured that I would pass emissions. I began talking to ARTE EMMANOILIDIS about what was going on and met with total resistance. Initially he had no clue what I was talking about continuously saying I'm not that smart or something to that effect. Once he finally understood me we argue back and forth for an hour about the work that was done, and in the mist of that, he starts using profanity and to try and deflect, and run away from the problem, I think. He says "I fire customers all the time". As if to say he was firing me, without fix the problem. I show him the paperwork that was given to me by the emissions place. Finally, he decides to look at the vehicle and did some preliminary test and seen there in fact was some issues that should've been repaired during the original repair. However, when I say to him repeatedly, I don't want nothing for free I want what's right he AGREED!!! I asked you're going to do what's right? He says, "Not if I have to pay for it". If its your mistake why wouldn't you have to pay for it? Once I asked that question he said "no I don't" I laughed and then he abruptly had the mechanics that was looking at my vehicle to stop, and he says I'm done. Again, running away from the problem instead of making it right, at least in my opinion. It's pathetic, shameful, and most importantly disrespectful to own up to a oversight/mistake and not make it right!! He agreed there were a problem but didn't agree to fix it even though it should've been fixed in the original repair. ARTE EMMANOILIDIS has terrible customer service skills he is disrespectful and above all else he is not willing to fix a wrong done by the repair place. He should not represent American Complete Auto Repair in any compacity. He does bad business and has no communication skills. I legit got robbed, because the repairs that was suppose to be made wasn't. I don't know What compacity ARTE EMMANOILIDIS works there in, but it seems to me he's a manager/owner/ mechanic. Again, he shouldn't in an capacity work in customer service and probably shouldn't do repair work, he doesn't have the capacity do it right the first time and is unwilling to correct a mistake. I will no longer be a customer at American Complete Auto Repair and ARTE EMMANOILIDIS is the reason. I hope corrective actions taken. read more

At first I thought they were professional I bought 3 of my vehicles to them again because I had no idea until now! They were taking my money and not repairing my cars. Something so simple as a muffler they patched up and charged me 349.80 for it to get loud in 2 weeks. They still wanted me to pay more money as they call it to make it quiet what the heck so I took it another place and was told it was a patch job when indeed it needed a muffler so the other day I go get oil changed which they also charged me for and didn't change it at all the hood couldn't even open and the car had no oil so I'm wondering what else they didn't do! Great service and fair pricing. They saved us a lot of money by properly diagnosing our vehicle's issue. The Ford dealership told us our transmission was smoked and needed to be replaced for a cost in the thousands. Instead, a less than $1000 dollar repair by this place has kept us on the road and road tripping for the past year and still going strong. read more
