We ended up picking this restaurant for my birthday dinner. We picked out everything for the family and called in the order and live 10 minutes away when we got there everything was ready and hot fresh homemade and a culinary delight... The ribs weren't fall off the bone they were even more tender than that, in fact, one of the bones became so tender, it could break. I have never ever seen that happen before, we will probably end up going to weekly. I highly recommend this place for you and your family. We have tried visiting this place 4 times only to come and have it closed or change it's hours. I was excited when one day it finally was open. I love pulled pork, so that's what I ordered. It was repulsive. It was overly vinegary and inedible. I thought perhaps I was being overly dramatic, but my husband tasted it and was shocked. My husband ordered the ribs which were tender but definitely not smoked, more like boiled. If you want good food, don't come here. Check out another BBQ joint. read more

I could cry right now. I never expected decent BBQ in this neck of the woods and this was simply so good. Ordered: brisket, baby back ribs, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, bbq beans, fried pickles, extra corn fritters. The fried pickles are, hands down, the BEST I've ever tried- they seem to be spicy and coated in a tempura-type batter and SO good! They stayed crispy for quite a while! The corn fritters were also expertly fried and unbelievably crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the honey butter was a great compliment. The brisket and baby back ribs were so moist and practically fell apart. I just can't believe it took me so long to come try this place! Can't wait to go back! Also, I barely was able to finish even a quarter of my portion. Totally worth the price - less than $50 for all the above and we'll have leftovers for days! read more

My ribs were great and I liked the short list of options to keep it simple. It is pretty pricey and I was not at all happy about how much vinegar was in the pulled pork sauce. Ribs seemed as though they were boiled vs being smoked. However the sides were decent. Not sure if I would spend the $$ to go back again.

My only complaint is that they are closed on Sunday's and for some reason that is when I'm craving their food. I always get the brisket, and its good. The wife gets the pulled pork. Their mashed potatoes are really good. You can call your order in ahead of time. It's a drive up only, no dining room. read more
