I have been to the raspado express in sylmar and it's a super small place but it really is EXPRESS!!!! This one here in Pacoima has a nice size space to sit down and enjoy the drink after Waiting almost 10 to 20 minutes to get what you order. I'm not sure why is it that they take so long when they have more staff then the one in Sylmar. Plus the male individual that has an interesting style look like he was so stress to work here. Walked in and it was super dirty. The workers are very lazy, seems like they pay more attention to their friends that loiter around there than actual customers. Im a big fan of RaspadoXpress, I been to two other locations and this is my least favorite. I understand the wait when it's pretty busy, but I had to wait extra because the cashier attended other customers who were not next in line with placing a new order. My order was ready quick they don't lack on that. The raspado was great but the esquite was very dry. read more

After calling today to speak to the manager regarding my issue w/their employee. The manager Blanca spoke to the employee & asked for me to come into their Pacoima store. I went & she gave me my drinks as I had originally ordered them. She had an awesome attitude & apologized for the mishap I had gone through w/said employee. Meh, the raspados are good but the wait time is horrendous, the Spanish court shows are loud as hell on the tv and the place always has a funky ass smell to it. I have removed this place from my dining experience. read more

This place is amazing!!! So delicious :) my favorite Raspado is the trompo but I et it spicy. It has a great simple atmosphere too and in the summertime it gets packed. I've seen the lines out the door for years now. So I finally decided to give it a try. Chamango was AMAZING!!! Tostilocos were delicious! Grenuda...WOW!!! BOMB mango raspado! Probably the best one I have had. Parking is tricky since they are facing the street, so we just parked in the shopping center next to it and walked. We also had the corn but the corn itself was not good corn. I'm sure during corn season its perfection. I guess we got lucky bc we got no line. I wish there was one in OC. read more

Went in here two nights ago. I ordered two large fresas con crema and two besa fresas. Order was quick to come out, but the fresas con crema barely had any cream in them and the besa fresas had no flavor at all. I had to add sugar and my own home made strawberry puree to it when I got home. read more

I feel like a wet blanket amongst these other glowing reviews but the raspado was soo syrupy and gross. Literally 90% red colored syrup. So if you don't like artificial sweetness you may want to pass on it. However everyone was nice and friendly and I can't wait to try something else and hopefully update my review! :) read more

I walked in and nobody greeted me. Everyone saw me but no one acknowledged me. I'm big on good customer service but I stuck it through. One of the girls was making a raspado for another customer sp I understood. When she was finally ready to help me she just stood at the register looking at me instead of letting me know she was ready to help me. These is just no essence to their fruit purees, they really need to work on that...use fresh ingredients. I've been at this business more times that I remember and I always loved it, but today I went in and I was happily surprised because there wasn't too much people as usual. So i placed my order then while I was waiting the place started to get crowded, after a while I started noticing that customers that came after I was already waiting starter to get their orders, so I go to the front to ask if my order was almost ready and one of the girls ask the one who was working on it, and she didn't even look at me at all she just said no it's not ready in a very rude manner and turn away. If I could rate them a negative I would. Overall horrible experience. We came on a Sunday and it's understandable that it would be crowded but an hour wait for an orange juice and one raspado is ridiculous. When we finally got to the cashier, she could not have a more annoyed look. My receipt says Elmi or Elemi, as the cashier. Well we were in line for about 15 minutes and when we finally get to her to order she turns to charge her coworker an order of raspados for the coworker to take home. I'm sorry I know you work there and you're heading home but you're now a customer and you need to make the line like the rest of us. After her coworker paid. I saw the employee off the clock go and make her own order. Uhm no ! You make the line and you wait for your order to be made like the rest of us. It gets better. The Cashier then turns to take my order and I have to repeat like 4 times because of her incompetence. Hold up it gets even better. We wait for an hour!!!! Like how does that even work. 30 minutes into our wait after ordering, a family gets called and they had been already waiting there since we were making line. Like what in world. I'm sorry but this place needs new management. They need to fire all those incompetent kids they have working there that can't even make a raspado without taking them an hour to do it. The ice should be shaved right? The syrup should be ready to go. The fruit is cut.... Like are they magically going to get ice from the Alaskan ice caps? I love Raspado Xpress. The Besa Fresa is my absolute favorite. It's the perfect combination of fresh strawberries, lime, ice and spices. You can't get this stuff anywhere else. The Crepes are really good too. I like mine with Nutella and banana. They also have natural smoothies and cafe de olla. Yummy. Sylmar is a cool spot but my favorite location Is the OG pacoima lol. i tried the strawberry and banana smoothie and they add squirts of condensed milk on the cups sides and it was amazing the condensed milk added a sweeter kick to it. i also had the corn but i think i was under cooked so it was pretty hard but ill be back for some more smoothies! read more

Their raspados are really good. If you're into Mexican shaved ice then this is the place to go. I always get vanilla with strawberry or vanilla with coconut.
