I finally got the chance to try out Kona Ice today when they were parked at the Northridge Farmers Market. I booked this truck for our baby shower in two weeks so I wanted to give them a try first. The lady working the truck at the Farmers Market was very nice and answer any follow up questions I asked after I told her I booked the truck for our baby shower. I waited for my nephew to join me and then we ordered our cup. We went with the klassic cup because the weather was kind of cold. I went with the groovy grape, ninja cherry and watermelon wave on my cup. I believe my nephew went with the monkey business, flavor of the day and tiger blood for his. We enjoyed our shaved ice. I didn't put a lot of flavor on mine so when I ate half of my cup, I went back to ask if I could add more flavor and the lady said I could. I had a great time eating the shaved ice and I can't wait for people at our baby shower to try it. Hopefully the weather will be on the not so cold side. The price for booking them is also very reasonable and they answer quickly to any questions over email. read more

The shave ice part is yummy but the flavors are nasty taste like flavored Karo syrup. Please change the name to Cali ice. My suggestion is to order original flavors from Hawaii. read more

Every time I see this truck it makes me happy! I have come across Kona Ice every where from the Spartan Race to Northridge Farmer's Market and other fun places along the way. At one point I bought refillable souvenir cup that I keep in in my car, that way when I randomly come across a Kona Ice truck I have a great excuse to buy one ;) Recently I was put in charge of organizing vendors for the Beverly Glen Fair. We hadn't invited the Kona Ice truck before but I had a feeling they would be a hit. I got in touch with Josh and he was very friendly and accommodating. Even though I contacted him last minute, he was able to fit a time slot in for us! Todd was our guy for the fair and he was so great! Fun, energetic, and easy to work with. If you are looking for a fun vendor to have at your next event, I highly recommend Kona Ice. They are a hit with kids and adults alike! If you come across this truck along your travels, give it a try you won't be disappointed, its tasty and their staff is awesome too! read more

So much fun, and a great way to cool off our reception guests when the temps were soaring. We will definitely book them again!

I am an events director and Kona Ice really exceeded any service provided to me and my company by any vendor EVER. For a last-minute request of mine, Josh dispatched a shaved ice truck to my event on a busy holiday within an hour! When Norma arrived, she happily showed an urgency to serve the patrons as quickly as possible. Her good spirits really uplifted my team and me, and the hundreds of people who attended the event. Kona Ice will forever have my business! read more

Hands down, one of the best vendors I have ever worked with. Not sure how I cross path with them but ever since I started with my Elementary PTA we have partnered with Kona Ice for after school events and other school events. The kids and the families love it, the price point is fair and all their employees have been so friendly and punctual. They were so amazing to my elementary school that I have now introduced them to my middle school and they have continued their amazing service to both schools. I also had them come out to my son's birthday last year and that was the funnest treat the guest got to enjoy. read more

1 star is for Garvin. Beware that you will get no comfort n knowing the truck will show up after you make your payment. Garvin is very responsive until he gets your money than after that he won't reply. Even a simple text back to confirm the event the day before. Absolutely terrible business practice read more

They are FABULOUS! They bring the truck to our schools Open House every year. The kids LOVE the selection. Thank you
