I asked him if he knew the calorie count for the drink and he admitted he didn't, explaining that they make their own syrups with brown sugar so it probably is pretty high in calories. So, points for telling the truth! Again, he has a contactless pay system that always makes my heart sink a little. It's so impersonal and always pops up the requiste how- much-do-you-wanna-tip page. Still Brian's is a fun spot with a good cross-section of flavors and tastes and friendly service. Looks like they're shaved ice creations are pretty awesome. But I just had to have some boba!

Bingsu/Korean shaved ice is a regular fave of mine but they tend to be very dairy-based and it can be difficult to find a place w/ something similar in texture and that has dairy-free options. And this place has just that. This is the perfect spot for those looking for more fruit-centric refreshing flavors or even the sweet pastry-inspired dessert selections! A small portion of water ice is approximately 3-4 sizable scoops! And a small portion of the gelati (water ice + soft serve) specialty is approximately the size of a McDonald's parfait. My partner got the summertime (strawberry, cherry, watermelon(?) flavor and I got the peach cobbler inspired cup with gelati. I was hoping they'd have the apple pie one but it wasn't listed on the menu when we were there. Regardless, still a very tasty and amazing treat to cool down with! Service was helpful and you're welcome to try samples of anything. Was very shocked to see that employees manually swirl/mix flavors while scooping rather than have tub with pre-swirled flavors. I'm sure that takes some skill! Ambiance is very fun with lively and colorful decor. The music on the speakers can be pretty loud esp the further back into the store you're sitting at. 5000000% would go here again, would love to try the other flavors and maybe have a bigger portion when I have more stomach room bc it was that good I almost wish we had dinner elsewhere right after instead or before LOL!

I booked this truck for our baby shower in two weeks so I wanted to give them a try first. The lady working the truck at the Farmers Market was very nice and answer any follow up questions I asked after I told her I booked the truck for our baby shower. I waited for my nephew to join me and then we ordered our cup. We went with the klassic cup because the weather was kind of cold. I went with the groovy grape, ninja cherry and watermelon wave on my cup. I believe my nephew went with the monkey business, flavor of the day and tiger blood for his. We enjoyed our shaved ice. I didn't put a lot of flavor on mine so when I ate half of my cup, I went back to ask if I could add more flavor and the lady said I could. I had a great time eating the shaved ice and I can't wait for people at our baby shower to try it. Hopefully the weather will be on the not so cold side. The price for booking them is also very reasonable and they answer quickly to any questions over email.
