First time here. Excellent fresh fruit raspados that are the perfect amount of sweet. They also have yummy tostitos. The staff are friendly and efficient too. This place is great if you want authentic raspados. I will definitely be coming back here.

Best raspado place in town. Have been coming here for years! Very close to my grandmas house so we usually walk here. They have so many options and varieties. They even have a menu of pictures to tell you what the drinks are called if you've only ever seen what they looked like. The prices are great. You will love anything you get from here. They don't skimp out on making your raspado, smoothie, etc. They will pack on the ice, syrups, fruit, mango, strawberries, lechera and so on. I have no complaints about this place. The only thing I can say is that since I dont like too much of the flavored syrups in my raspados and, as mentioned above, they pack on the flavor, it can be a too much for me. I never end up finishing my raspado. That's only a personal preference of course because I don't like things too sweet.

I really enjoyed my raspado. I believe the lady's name who assisted me was Dinora. She was very nice and kind. I ordered the strawberry raspado which included cut up strawberries, and a vanilla one, in which I added fresh fruit. They had a variety of snacks and candies. I thought the prices were fair considering the prices on everything now. I would definitely come back. read more

Wow! Just as amazing as I last tried it when I was in the 6th grade, and now I'm 28 years old! I ended up getting a chamtamarindo raspado and let me just say it's the BESTS! The lady that served me was nice and helpful! I would definitely make my way back soon! read more

They are super expensive compared to other small business raspado shops. I appreciate that the fruit was cut to order but it's ridiculously expensive. Also, they no longer accept card payments but only cash and zelle. They need fresher fruit to charge what they do. I would recommend just making your own! read more

Really good and their menu has many items! And yes they aren't cheap but I don't think anyone is. Also Yelp says the accept credit cards but they do not. They have a sign that they accept cash and Zelle only. read more

Best raspados ever and when I say raspados I mean shaved ice with real ingredients and just the right amount of flavor, not that syrup crap loaded with sugar or icecream. Authentic and delicious! I hate that its far from us, we live in Ventura and drive 50 minutes just to get them. Honestly nothing here in Ventura or Oxnard can compare. read more

Ownership has changed. I have been here twice since. The new ladies are nice. But the quality has gone down terribly. Skimping on the ingredients. I always get a strawberry coconut raspados. On both visits I couldn't hardly find the coconut in there. This used to be my go to spot because of the generous portions. Now they only accept cash or zelle for payment. They aren't saving money by being stingy. They are losing customers and future earnings. read more

This place is awesome. Raspados, Botonicos, ice cream and natural fruit juices. Juice prepared right in front of you. Looks a little run down. Don't lay astray because of it's appearance. Normally I don't come to places where I have to fumble through my limited Spanish to communicate with the staff. Luckily, I don't have to as my wife is bilingual. But I might actually make an exception for this place. The first time I tried their Mangoñada/chamango, I was hooked. It is a raspado mango drink with chunks of mango. My wife brought it home one day after work and now, every time we are even remotely near this area, I find excuses to drive by and get one. They are so delicious! I devour them whenever I can. You should too. You'll thank me after. I have never had anything else there because I don't need to try anything else, but they have many other raspados, ice cream, snacks, etc. This is a little hole in the wall place. There's only a few stools to sit inside, so plan on taking it out. But your visit will be well worth it. Enjoy! read more

I definitely think this is one of the best places to get a raspado! My fiancé and I are always looking for great raspado spots and we used to drive all the way to canoga park for our raspados because raspado xpress was overrated and expensive!!! I'm so glad we found this little spot because they hook you up with a lot of fruit and the ice doesn't get super clumpy or hard as a rock! My favorite is the chamfresa but the regular raspados are just as good and the prices are very inexpensive!!!! read more

My coworker discovered this place nearby my work as we both were craving Raspados. Checked out the place for the first time gentleman took our order and we both got raspados. I love the chicle lime and vanilla combo as it reminds me of back in the days growing up. This place also has other great selections like chamangos, chafresas, and other goodies. Whoever hasn't had it definitely should check it out for their raspado fix. read more

I always thought it was a little weird that this place is next to a residential area. I decided to drop by it one day and check it out. I ordered a chamango and nachos. I LOVED their chamango! They actually shave their ice which if you were to go to raspado express is vastly different. They put chamoy AND Tajin in their chamango. It's not too spicy which I love and they top it off with sliced mango chunks. I went extreme and got the largest size for $6. It is HUGE! I love love love this place. It's my go to spot for chamangos' for sure. The only con is that it is a small place and it can get crowded. The chamango is so worth it though. I recommend it! read more

I read the other reviews and saw pictures, I expected that it would have been an awesome experience and have a new raspados location to go to, BUT it's not the best thing when it comes to raspados. I got the chamango and didn't like it, I'm giving it a 2 star because the drink has flavor, the fresh fruit they use is good, but it doesn't have enough ice, and its not spicy, it's too watery. The crushed ice they use doesn't mix well with the fruit syrup they use.. I'll go back one more time to try it. Maybe the girl that did my drink was new or just didn't know how to do them. Idk.. read more

Came with a few coworkers towards the end of our work day. Got the chamango and it was delicious! I got the medium and it was too much! The mangos were fresh. I can't wait to try another one, especially now that it's getting hot in SFV! The down sides are that the storefront is tiny (but clean) and there isn't enough space to comfortable sit and hang. We ended up bringing them back to our office to enjoy. read more

I came here for my second time the other day and the first time I came it was bomb, my chamango was made by the man who works there . So if you want a good chamango make sure he makes it . Wen I came for the second time my chamango was made by a woman and she was so rude not only to me but to my mom too. I had asked her for nieve the garaffa because that's what it's called in Guadalajara and she kept saying like what's that?? trying to make fun of us. Even after I kept my kool and politely told her that's what it's called in Guadalajara she kept giving attitude and kinda laughing at us. I told her I wanted my chamango super spicy and she just made wat she wanted it. It was nowhere near spicy . I think they lack customer service . They need to work on that I won't be returning because theirs better raspado places with more friendly workers. read more

There was custard on both the bottom and top with a relatively small scoop of banana Happy Ice in the middle. Because of that, the banana flavor ended up getting a bit lost and wasn't nearly as prominent as I had hoped. That said, whenever I was able to get a bite of just the banana Happy Ice, I enjoyed it much more. It was refreshing and made me wish there had been more of it. Next time, I'd probably skip the specialty option and order one of the plain Happy Ice flavors instead. Overall, it's still a solid dessert spot in the area, and I'd definitely come back to try one of their classic flavors. If you're deciding between a specialty creation and the original Happy Ice, I'd probably recommend sticking with the classic.

I went with the groovy grape, ninja cherry and watermelon wave on my cup. I believe my nephew went with the monkey business, flavor of the day and tiger blood for his. We enjoyed our shaved ice. I didn't put a lot of flavor on mine so when I ate half of my cup, I went back to ask if I could add more flavor and the lady said I could. I had a great time eating the shaved ice and I can't wait for people at our baby shower to try it. Hopefully the weather will be on the not so cold side. The price for booking them is also very reasonable and they answer quickly to any questions over email.

We'd be willing to give Sugar Fix Boba another chance and try some of their teas or food items next time, as those may be better suited to our taste. Unfortunately, based on this experience, it just wasn't a place we'd rush back to.

When I went the owner stated tamales other than corn and cheese would not be ready until later so if you want tamales, it might be good to come around 9 or 10 to make sure they have the flavors you want. Also, once they sell out of tamales for the day, they do not make more so it's best to come asap. Also their Champurrado is my favorite. I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a good one. They have different sizes ranging from S-XL. Over the years, I have seen this place get more expensive but it is worth every penny because they make great tamales and have very yummy Champurrado ($4 each tamale, $24 1/2 dozen tamales, $48 dozen tamales ) Also the owner speaks Spanish and English :) I also believe this is a Cash only establishment.

Unfortunately the tamales were not good. They were all over the place, completely inconsistent - some were raw, some were soggy, some were dry, some were thin, and some were thick like a literal dense clump that could not be cut with a fork. Most of them stuck to the husk. The masa was bland on both, worse on the pork. There wasn't enough sauce and both meat were extremely dry. I liked the flavor of the red sauce on the pork but there was so little of it, most of it was on the outside- more would have helped the dryness. Some had a good amount of meat but some only had a little bit, and all didn't have enough sauce. It was so sad and disappointing. It was purely quantity over quality, there was no quality. The packages were not hot or warm so who knows how long they've been sitting out. Maybe I'll come back during off season to try it again if I'm in the area, but I definitely won't drive all the way there just to get their tamales like I did today / used to.
