Its a fast casual style like CAVA or Chipotle which makes for a quick lunch option in Mosaic. I may give it another shot, maybe everything I ordered for my bowl were just misses or weren't on par that day. 1 of my dining companions really enjoyed their meal and the other agreed with me. Garlic naan was great. A meal for 2 of us with 1 side of naan ran us $40 with tip. Kind of steep for a fast casual dinner imo. Eh. Beautiful interior and decor and easily accessible spot, RASA took over the old Taylor Gourmet sandwich location that is accessible by the first floor Target escalators. read more

Just got home from a great early dinner at Rasa Mosaic. Great service and great food. Rasa's wraps are excellent. And, their new hot masala chai was beyond excellent. Will definitely make it a repeat experience. read more

Interior is super cute, very airy and colorful. Lots of delicious options for toppings and bases. I got the yellow rice with chicken, radishes, green beans, corn, and cucumber with a peanut sauce. Yummy, flavorful, and I felt great after. Prices were not too steep - $14 with tax. My step-daughter loved the garlic naan, and she's a picky eater. Will be back if I'm in Mosaic again. read more

The entree names are funny but the fun ends there. They taste really disappointing. Took the tikka and the beef (no replacements). The only flavor I got was sour for the tikka and salty for the beef. There's no semblance of any Indian flavor here. The service is decent, nothing spectacular, the ambiance is funky. Frankly, not planning to come back again. Mezeh or Chipotle tastes much better. read more

RASA's beautiful door and the vibrant decor is so inviting! I was headed to CAVA which is right next door to RASA. I love Indian food, so I decided to give it a try. First red flag should've been that the place only had one customer (who was leaving when I arrived). I tried their most popular dish the TIKKA chance on Me. It has so many ingredients and looked appetizing, but the ingredients really don't mesh. The chicken for the tikka masala wasn't cooked in the sauce, insteada thin red sauce was poured over the chicken. This left more to be desired in the flavor department. Although this is Indian fast food (the set up is similar to CAVA or Chipotle) I assumed the chicken would be cooked in the sauce, which tends to be more flavorful. The dish also has pickled radish, creamed spinach and a few other sauces which caused a pool of liquid at the bottom of my bowl. I ended up throwing majority of it away and heating up my Trader Joe's Chicken Tikka Masala which actually tasted more authentic than RASA. read more

The mango lassi blew my mind! The coconut shrimp was tasty. The sweet potato was delicious. I was nervous to try something new but the server was very patient. Felt healthy, lots of veggie options. The scent is so enticing and the use of flavor was something out of the ordinary from the regular fast casual build a bowl place. This is really great if you want Indian food but not heavy this is your place! It's the same concept as chipotle where you can pick what you want. I love the cilantro mint dressing! I loved decoration in there too! We will definitely go back. The service was great too! read more

We've eaten here weekly for the past few years and it's been consistently good. The new wraps are packed and a good option if you don't feel like building your own. The staff has changed over time but most everyone has been very friendly and generous: our most recent visit ended with some totally out of the blue samples of their soft serve (mango and chai, both flavors are winners in my book). Good portions, excellent flavor. Sometimes I just have a craving for Indian and they really hit the spot. The "Goa your own way" has just the right amount of spice and the samosas are the perfect balance of sweet and savory. This is a review for the samosa chaat. We stopped by during the cherry blossom event at Mosaic. Compared to Spice 6 up the street, the samosa chaat at RASA was fast, but disappointing. The samosas at RASA were just sitting at the counter, not warmed up, and the skin tasted dry. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but they were also half the size. read more

If you haven't tried RASA yet, you must!! They put other fast casual restaurants to shame with their super fresh, homestyle food, creative cocktails, and Instagram worthy decor. Our favorite menu items include the "Open Sesame" (pictured), "Tikka Chance on Me," and kids noodle bowl. The chutneys are amazing, as are the masala chai choc chip cookies. On a nice day, you can't beat sitting in their lovely outdoor space drinking a Spicy Mumbai Mule! We also love to support local family-owned, community-minded businesses like RASA. I couldn't eat my bowl because it was way too spicy and I purposefully chose the non spicy items. My daughter enjoyed her bowl, and got to eat mine later as well. I definitely would not go back, but the place is clean, staff friendly. read more

Beautiful open air interior with cool vibes! But the chicken pieces were like floppy? Sauces were very runny/watery, and I ended up with half an inch of straight up water in the bottom of my bowl. Glad I got to try it but doubtful I would return. My favorite aspect of the meal was the samosas, but one piece was completely devoid of filling...just fried pastry. Tried this place for lunch today and it was delicious! I got the chicken tikka with rice and salad base, tomato garlic sauce, spinach, and all the toppings. Wife got the lemon rice and salad base with mixed vegetables, peanut sesame sauce, spinach, and all the toppings. I topped it off with mint cilantro and cumin yogurt while my wife did mango coconut and cumin yogurts. Visited for the first time today around 1PM. Immediately the woman behind the counter who is meant to be delivering customer service - awful attitude and demeanor. This person should not deal with customers in any capacity. She was rude to the gentleman before me and was with me as well. Rasa was great! The interior is super cute and never super busy - it's quite easy to find tables inside or outside near the turf. It was my first time here so I just got one of their suggested bowls and I really liked it! The flavors weren't too overpowering and the cilantro chutney was delicious. It is a little pricey for the size as I feel like I would be able to get something bigger at other build-your-own-bowl establishments that would typically last me two or so meals but regardless had a great experience. I've tried Rasa at mosaic 3 times now and have been disappointed during all visits. First off the staff isn't friendly or helpful at all. The menu options can be very confusing and we end up paying extra for a second veggie side, which isn't a big deal as long as the staff can explain clearly what our options are. Overall food is fresh but fairly bland. Additionally all 3 times I've ordered 2-3 bowels to go and they hand me the bowels without a bag to go. Overall the experience leaves a lot to be desired and definitely does not seem on par with similar restaurants such as Cava and chipotle. Likely won't visit again. read more

So glad there's finally an Indian option in Mosaic! Really glad they had some nice vegetarian options -- we got the sweet potato tikki bowl which was delicious. I also had the lamb kebab bowl and the dressings were popping with flavor (My husband couldn't stop asking for a taste!). It's such a bright and colorful space with great customer service. Stumbled into this great bright and colorful Indian restaurant in Mosaic, the cafe's style is very welcoming and the food was delicious. It's all fresh, lots to choose from, they have delicious cocktails, smoothies, ice cream and the owners are great people, they are very engaged with their customers. My 10 year old won't eat anything but pizza and she actually chose some veggies and enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend. read more

The textures and flavors seemed off, like maybe a little too overcooked and watered down. We decided to try Rasa for lunch. So glad we did! The food was super fresh and very flavorful. There were a lot of choices which was a little overwhelming for a custom bowl so we decided to just try their chef created bowls. I got the Tikka Chance on Me and my husband got the Goa your own way. Both were fantastic! Also had the mini samosas. The chutneys were good! Most of all - I loved the decor. The bright colors and fun atmosphere made the meal even more enjoyable. I've been coming here since they open. Between work and family , i haven't been there in a while. Today I went to National Cemetery nearby to talk about funeral arrangements for my dad since his health has been up and down. I decided to pick up lunch jto lift myself up. I went to Rasa and I met Glenda. I said 'to go please', but she paused and than she said 'sorry I'm tired I just got back from the hospital' . I said 'I know exactly how you feel as I've been going through with my dad'' . We talked about our family situation as she was working on my order. When I checked out, she said' let me pay for your meal, it's the least I can do'. My tears started to shed and I couldn't hold back my tears. Not because she had paid for my food , but making me realized there are people that going through what I'm going through. I'm glad to know there's still good people in this world. We walked by RASA after having eaten dinner somewhere else. The restaurant smelled so amazing and all of the food looked fresh and delicious. We saw mango lassi soft serve and masala chai on their dessert menu and I was so excited. We ordered the masala chai soft serve and it was so delicious! I have been here twice and loved it both times. The decor is incredibly inviting, the food was flavorful and the menu has a nice variety of dishes. The vegan soft serve is worth a trip by itself.
