Ambiance: This place has very beautiful, creative, and aesthetic decor. Service: The staff member who took order was super nice, professional, and made recommendations. Food: The food was flavorful and delicious. Mango lassi (3.5/5 could've been a little more sweet), paneer tikka bowl/BYO (4/5) spicy chili chicken bowl/BYO (4.5/5), garlic naan (3/5 - was soft but some parts were chewy), masala chai cookies (5/5 - absolutely fantastic) masala chai soft serve ice cream (5/5 really good!) I will definitely be coming back for the cookies and to try out additional items.

Very nice, vibrant decor inside with outdoor seating available. Easy to order menu. You can make a build your own bowl, or opt for the specials on the menu. I did a build your own bowl where you pick your rice or grains, greens or veggie base, add protein, sauce and veggie toppings. Additional dressings and other crunchy toppings available. I went with quinoa/spinach/salad greens as my base. Tikka chicken as the protein. Selected a midly, spicy coconut sauce, and plenty of veggie toppings. The mint-cardamom-lemonade was ok. I mostly tasted overly sweet lemonade. Reasonable prices. Everything was very fresh and full of delish flavors. Service was fine. I would equate this place to Chipotle, however with Indian infused flavors instead of Mexican. Highly recommend.

I was excited to try this place after looking at all the great reviews. I was a bit disappointed as my chicken bowl was overly saucy and the server behind the counter wasn't the friendliest. It didn't help that the front window was fully open on what my friends and I thought was a chilly day.

So many options & combos. I really enjoyed the chicken tikka with the South Indian noodles, spinach, and a bunch of other toppings & sauces. I feel like I could eat here everyday for a month and have a different bowl every time. Indoor & outdoor seating. It was a nice night so the windows were open and it made for a nice setting. There are also 4 swings inside which is fun! If you're a first timer, would recommend looking at the menu & options in advance. It's hard to know what's what & there are so many options for toppings & sauces! Not sure if this is typical, but there was only 1 person working the whole line + cash register. She did a great job, but it was slower overall. Putting this on my list for future fast casual go to!

This review is long overdue. I have been here soooo many times and have yet to encounter an issue with this place. For starters, I love the bright welcoming decor! My kids are obsessed with the swing chairs so that is a nice plus. Customer service is always SUPERB! Props to all the wonderfully friendly staff working here. I ate here today with my family after a few months of not stopping by. I was a little sad that the staff from before wasn't around but the "new (to me)" guys were amazing too! Very knowledgeable, friendly and patient (shout out to Gabriel, and couldn't get the name of the other 2 that helped us). It was the first visit from some family members from my party and all the staff was super helpful in explaining them the menu and patiently answering their questions so kudos to them all! The place is always spotless, which is also very nice. Now on to the food, I always get the same: noodles for the base, chicken tikka, garlic tomato sauce, spicy chickpeas, and a few of their yummy toppings. I love the concept of building your own bowl. And for a fast casual format, the food is amazing! Great flavors, fresh tasting, very nice portion sizes (I always end up with leftovers) and a good variety of options! A lot of vegetarian options too which is nice. The mango lassi and chai soft serve are divine to finish off the wonderful meal! Always a pleasure dining here! I'm sure I'll be back soon.

Harvest Chicken Bowl with La Croix

Right next to the giant Target in Mosaic District, it was a no brainer that I had to try it out! This place has an outdoor dining section so you can watch across the street where the open field was and inside had giant tables and swinging chairs to relax in. This place is very aesthetically pleasing if you like pastel tones and even better since it's clean. Like any fast-casual chain, you can build your own bowl and pick what ingredients you want. I was lazy so I opted for the Harvest Chicken Bowl and a can of La Croix. The Harvest Chicken Bowl had vegetables, lemon tumeric rice, chicken tikka, tomato garlic sauce, cucumber, pickled onions, cumin yogurt, coriander chili and roasted lentils. There's a lot of ingredients here and they all add to the overall flavor of the dish. Surprisingly this had a kick to it and it wasn't spicy enough for me but my nose was running for a bit after eating. The bowl was filling and I'd even say that everything complimented each other even more. I made a great choice and I'd get it again. Would I come here again? Absolutely. There's no doubt that I can't say no to Fast-Casual Indian food, I really think it's overlooked.

Amviance: sooo cute (just look at the photo). Super stylish and clean. Service: great - I asked our server her honest opinion about the spiciness levels of some of the food, and she gave it to me straight lol - some of it is super spicy and I'm glad I went with a milder option!! Service was also generally friendly and fast. Food: delicious!!! After my partner and I ate it, we were already excited to return. Loved the quality of the food, the flavor, and the portion sizes too.

I got the tikka a chance on me. I thought the food was pretty good. The flavors were really good in it. However, the bowl was not super full as you can see in pic! The service was not super good either. The service is really fast. They didn't seem like they wanted to answer any questions about any other products or anything so that was a little offputting. I would come back here though. I thought it was really good as a bowl I got was good so I'll try more. The place is a casual restaurant, next to several other casual restaurants in mosaic district.

After a visit at Inova, was looking for something fast/casual. Stumbled on Rasa, and it was a perfect choice. Tasty, healthy, filling, but not heavy. I had the Tikka Chance On Me bowl It was delicious. I took half home. Highly recommend.

I stopped by here after spending some time at Sandbox VR for a friend's bday celebration for a quick bite before dinner. The smell was what drew me in to trying and I even convinced my friends to get something too. There were so many options to choose from, but I decided to try the Tikka Chance On Me Bowl. The bowl consists of chicken tikka, tomato garlic sauce, basmati rice, sautéed spinach, pickled radish, kachumber, pickled onions, toasted cumin yogurt, mint cilantro chutney. They served it in a real bowl with real silverware which is rare to see nowadays in a fast casual place. The server was very nice and heavy handed in portion sizes. I would say the portion size is enough for two people to share or comparable to a chipotle burrito bowl. The service of food is similar to Chipotle style, where everything is in a line. They also offer fun drink options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. My friend got an alcoholic mango lassi and she said it was hard to tell that there was even alcohol in it. The vibe within the cafe transports you away from the bustling of city life. Highly recommend if you need something quick, filling, and different from the typical salads, sandwiches, or chipotle.

This is a solid place to grab food if you are looking for a quick bite that is pretty healthy. This place is like a Cava or Chipotle for Indian food, and they have either preset bowls or make-your-own bowls, along with other menu items. I usually order the make-your-own bowl, and order the lemon turmeric rice, chicken tikka, tomato garlic sauce, and green beans. I then top it off with pickled onions, pickled radish, cucumber, kachumber salad, mango salsa, cilantro, and the mint cilantro chutney. Service is fast, and the selection of toppings is good. It is a pretty good price for the amount of food given. I also got the Mango lassi, which tasted great. I like the food, but I wouldn't say it is my first choice when it comes to fast food. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for good tasting food that is quick and relatively healthy.

I found this place at the base of a mixed use development. It had garage parking nearby. My chickpeas were spicy as ordered, and came with two nicely puffed breads, and an array of pickled onions with a fried chili pepper. It was a proper rendition of the dish. Someone else ordered the same thing and asked for extra salt to dump on the chickpeas, which just baffled me. The flavor was ample. I also ordered a chai, and while they call it a cutting chai (which I understand to mean cut in half in size), it was a decent amount and a nuanced mix of spices. The owner was a little odd and was making calls to various tables and being kind of pushy such that it made one little girl uncomfortable to the point where her party complained about it, which was acknowledged by staff. I would advise them to put the customer's well-being first, but neither I nor the offended parties would seem to have any compunctions about coming back for the food.

On our first visit, they were extremely busy and we didn't have a reservation, but the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating while we waited for a table. Megha, in particular, was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, she made us feel truly at home. She consistently checked on us, made sure everything was perfect, and provided some of the best service we've experienced. Since that first visit, we've already been back two more times -- twice for dinner and once for their Sunday brunch. Every single visit has been exceptional. The service is always outstanding, and the food never disappoints. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any dish on the menu, and their brunch is phenomenal. I do have to mention the Butter Chicken -- it's easily one of the best I've ever had. The garlic naan and rosemary naan are also incredible and such a unique touch. What makes this place even more special is the consistency and hospitality. Megha always greets us warmly, remembers us by both face and name, and genuinely makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. We absolutely love this restaurant, and it will definitely remain one of our go-to spots. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and exceptional service.

We ordered typical Americanized Indian dishes. A lamb vindaloo, spinach paneer, buttered chicken, and tandoori pomfret fish. For apps we got vegetable samosas and gobi Manchurian cauliflower. ALL of it was so good! I would probably skip the fish next time. Not because of the taste, because of the work to get the meat out of the fish. It's served whole, which I was not expecting. Still very tasty. The gobi was had a familiar taste- similar profile to a Chinese general tso - regardless tangy and delicious with just a little heat. I was concerned the heat level was going to be too much in our dishes. After all, we did order a vindaloo which is know for its heat. It was perfect. They probably told the cooks to make it American spicy. lol. How do you know it's good? There were many Indian patrons. I will 100% return when I get an Indian food craving. Prices are to be expected given the current economic state of our area/country.

A concerted effort towards variety is evident, with distinct proteins and vegetarian choices in specific curries/sauces creating a beautifully balanced array of different colors. I love this. (An example of the opposite: When there's a paneer tikka masala AND a chicken tikka masala on a buffet - I don't count these as being 2 different entrées.) Saffron is way better than the musty neighbor Haandi Indian across the street. A long time local recommended Haandi over Saffron and I believe she must have lied to me about having tried Saffron, because there is absolutely no comparison. Saffron is wayyy better. There is actually flavor and attitude in the dishes at Saffron. Haandi is boring and bland. Pro tip: ask for your naan bread "crispy" and it will come out nice and toasted. Naan is included with the lunch buffet. Would be 5 stars if it were $15. $22 can get you AYCE made-to-order sushi lunch down the street, so $20 for Indian buffet lunch here seems all-the-money. Delicious, though! Oh and another possible star deduction reason: I saw a few stains on some tablecloths at Saffron that appeared to be days-old from not being changed or noticed. This is a "glass top on top of red tablecloth" kind of place. They need to get rid of the tablecloths if they're not changing them with each customer.

Thus far, we have tried chicken korma, shrimp jalfrezi, salmon tikka masala, and various vindaloos and biryanis. The lamb is succulent and the sauce is perfectly spiced to match the lamb - and the quantity of the meat and sauce are in good proportion to each other. This dish will be on our order from here on out. Some tips: don't order extra rice; all saucy entrees come with a generous portion of rice (even for a rice fiend like me). But DO order extra chicken tikka to supplement the (at times a little meager) amount of fish or salmon in saucy dishes. Also, the chefs' method of adding heat to "extra spicy" requests is to add chunks of hot peppers to the dish - I don't prefer this, but you might. Order accordingly.
