I got Boss Rooter through First American Home Warrenty to help me replace a water heater. I was…read moreexcited about using them since they had decently good reviews on google. Unfortunately, I had the worst experience of my entire life with them. My hot water heater went out on September 11th. Israel was non-communicative and non-responsive, didn't answer texts or calls, and took 18 days in total to get the new unit installed, despite frequent attempts at communication on my part. I had specifically asked for him to get a permit pulled for his work, and at the time of writing this, he still has not gotten this done. It's important to me since I might sell the property in the future and like to keep a paper trail of my repairs. Additionally, during the job the contracted caused physical damage to my walls - he hammered a copper pipe through my drywall and into my bedroom - and spilled bright purple primer across my wall and baseboard. He admitted fault, and when I sent him a request to pay for the repair costs, he has completely ghosted me for weeks and left the payment pending. This is current STILL at the time of this review. I would avoid this business at all costs, unless you like slogging through administrative hell and non-communication, all while trying to complete a job that's only half done.

I had a backed up kitchen sink. I called and spoke with Elias and he said it would cost about $70…read moreto snake it or maybe a few hundred to hydro blast it. His plumbers came out and snaked it, but couldn't get through. They said that there was a 90 degree angle in the pipe and it was completely blocked, and they would need to cut the pipe and alter the angle for easier flow. They were both very kind guys! However, the master plumber said it would cost $3200! I said that was too much, and he said he'd discount me $400. So, I actually paid $2890. I researched after the job was completed and I was definitely taken advantage of. The rate for that type of job (not cutting into walls) should have been at least about $1000+ less. I'm very disappointed because I really wanted to believe they were being honest. UPDATE: I spoke with Elias and he agreed that the charge was too high. He adjusted the price and compensated me accordingly. I appreciate his efforts to make things right!

I am over the moon at the amazing job he did and for stepping in when the previous plumber not only had no clue, but lied, took my money and left things a mess and not to mention came to work drinking alcohol at 9:00 am. That would explain him leaving, not returning, saying he fell asleep and making excuses over several days. Warning really look at their license because hiring an unlicensed plumber (prev. plumber) may void the warranty of your brand new unit. Yikes! Much gratitude to Hilary for getting me in so quickly and to Joe for hooking up my on demand unit and getting me up an running!

Expensive, yes charged nearly $300 for 20 minute valve change Quality 50/50, needed the valve changed on tub faucet, I know how to do it, pulled the screws but the calcium deposit were too bad to pull the handle, I didn't want to dent up the hardware with a home fix, so call Windsor plumbing, again they showed up on time, did the repair and left, leaving the screws I pulled right on the tub edge. It is not hard to put the screws back took me all of 5 minutes, but for 300.00 you think they would have completed the job.

Our kitchen sink (!) clogged on Friday afternoon . . . apparently it doesn't like chunks of pork,…read moreeven after chewed up by the disposal. After I opened the cleanout plug in the drain line under the sink and snaked it with a 25' snake attached to my 3/8" drill and having NO success, I began looking for a plumber. I spent a bit of time reading reviews, finally settling on Drain Doctors. I called around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Within an hour, as promised, "Joel" arrived and went to work. He brought in an electric snake and ran about 60' of line out before he cleared it completely, saying he felt several obstructions along the way. I had an issue just waiting to happen I believe, and my last little bit of pork gristle was the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. Just for good measure, Joel continued until almost 80' of snake had been paid out. He said he has been in the drain clearing business for 42 years; I believe it. His little machine cleared my drain in about two hours, all told. As good as that story is, the best part was the reasonable cost. His total cost was $115, about as reasonable as anyone could expect for a plumber to show up on demand at 7:30 in the morning! WOW! Need a plumber? Call Drain Doctors!

Best plumbers in town, scratch that, best plumbers in Colorado!…read more We had a situation where we were being told on a Friday afternoon to replace a wye joint in the plumbing ASAP in order to sell our home. The wye was 2 feet below concrete in our greenhouse, but was within 13 inches of one of the raised beds. Estimates ranged from $5,000 to 3,500. Every company insisted they needed to break up concrete and remove a raised bed in order to make the repair. Every company besides Action, that is. They fit us into their packed schedule, dug down through the raised bed, replaced the wye joint within hours. And the cost was under $1,000. I guess that's the master plumber difference. Honest. Dependable. Capable. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't another plumber in Colorado.
