He listened to what I had tried and then tackled the issue from the outside main sewer line back into the building. The clog was quickly found to be an issue of hardware that "toileting" items were catching on and the sewage was backing up into my unit/condo. He got the camera out, and videoed the entire situation as proof of damage to the underneath of my condo, the clog in the line and it was immediately sent to my HOA, who, before this plumber left the restoration team was on the phone and the "nightmare" of restoration began. Mike was very pleasant knowing what I was about to deal with and had nothing but great information, and fantastic customer service with getting me at least to the point of having no further issues of flooding under my home. He billed the HOA and that was the part I felt bad for as they never got back to him or contacted him after he tried numerous times. I finally emailed the board members directly to get him paid almost 3 months after the job was completed. He was never rude, never put the bill into collections, or made it hard for me to get him paid by the HOA. MIke is an exceptionally easy to work with guy, great customer rapport, and I recommend his services to anyone who needs someone easy going to help them out.

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value These guys are the absolute best in every way you could think of and that's no exaggeration either - they are simply the lowest/best priced, best top notch professionalism from the time you call in to everyone you will speak with in between and finally to the technicians that come to your house and get the job done, extremely fast to respond and also extremely fast to get the job done, friendly, completely honest (no exaggeration at all), and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Just great human beings to deal with all around in a mostly thankless job that is a tough job most people would not want to do whatsoever so I see them as basically heroes quite honestly. I called them on Tuesday and left a message with my name number and problem and within the hour, Riley called me back and told me someone would be on the way later in the day and this was at a time when I knew they were extremely busy with many different jobs to deal with but they fit me right in the same day and a few hours later Joel called and said he was 5 minutes from my house and if I was home he would be there in 5 minutes which I was and he was there within exactly 5 minutes. The problem I was facing was standing water in my vent roof stack which brought draining of all connected sinks and drains and toilets in my home to a virtual standstill and basically the next time I flushed the toilet there would have been a backup due to the lack of venting in the main 4" cast iron 98 year old main drain sewer pipe all were connected to. Joel arrived alone and immediately went to work on the top of my roof with 125 foot electric drain auger that had a special yolk cutter attachment on the end and within 20 minutes time put virtually the entire length 115 ft deep into my sewer line until he reached the connecting municipal tap out on the street and augured the complete distance of my sewer line. The standing water in the main roof vent stack finally broke and started to drain at the final 115-ft mark deep so this was plugged back all the way to the municipal main 115 ft away. Joel had the entire distance cleared within 20 minutes of what he told and showed me was heavy sludge and roots and some synthetic lint and sponge material all bound up together. He clean the entire length out and flushed the entire pipe system out afterwards by running the taps and that was that he completely solve the job and did it 100% complete the whole length of the sewer line. No BS here at all just a top professional who's probably seen it all 100 times over and knew exactly what to do and was lightning quick to get it done and done right the first time. I then met him at his truck for the bill he wrote up for me and when he told me the price I had to hesitate out of shock because I could not believe it was so low and I will not tell you how much it was here because I don't think it would be in their best interests but let me just tell you it was unbelievably low to the point of shock. I was expecting about 3 to 4 times the amount he quoted me. I had to do a double take to ask him if this was really the price and he said yes and then I simply paid him and he was off on his way. He also gave me some expert advice for the future in regards to this job as far as the roots he found were concerned and how extensive he thought it might be or a problem in the future and what to do or what not to do and this was extremely helpful. So there is my story with no embellishment or exaggerations. I cannot recommend Drain Doctors any more than to say they have absolutely everything going for them in an ideal drain and plumbing business from the consumer or customers perspective. I could not have asked for a better experience in every single way possible from price to service it was a 10 out of 10. Thanks again to Riley and Joel. I contacted Drain Doctor LLC on a weekday evening and left a message about a non-emergency, slow shower drain. Within a few minutes they returned my message & the man offered to come right out. I didn't have the time, but scheduled for the next morning, at 8:00 The next morning, I messaged, asking if they also do camera inspection, to get a second opinion on the main sewer. They messaged back saying it isn't a service they provide, but the serviceman will ask for more info when he arrives. He got right on the shower drain & cleared the blockage in nothing flat. He asked about the main sewer. I said how a competitor told me about major root intrusion and how they'll need to replace the entire line. He asked if there are other issues, which there haven't been. He ran the snake down again, which came back clean. I don't have any blockages in the main line, after all. Truly family owned and operated! The man who showed up has 40 years experience. He sold the business to his son & works for him. Price was exceptionally reasonable. I had a very good experience with Drain Doctors when our kitchen sink drain got plugged up. I had already tried running a 20' snake down the pipe, but the clog was further down than that. I called Drain Doctors at the recommendation of our usual plumber. After calling, they were here within the hour. Josh was the repair tech and he was quite professional and confidant in what he had to do to get it unclogged. I'm so glad I didn't try to do any more myself, because the clog was quite a ways down the pipe. The job was completed within the hour and we were back in business again. As Josh was working we talked about how we use the garbage disposal. He gave me several good tips for how to use the disposal differently and what NOT to put down the drain. I highly recommend this company. To make a very long story short, I had another company who is a franchise business here in town come and assess a blockage in my kitchen sink area. That franchise company was horrific. They tried to overcharge me and completely take advantage of my situation. I then called drain doctors based on recommendation of my plumber who I highly respect. They were prompt and friendly. I trusted them from the get go. They came and took care of my issue within 30 minutes. The franchise company wanted to charge over $600 to take care of this issue. Jeff and Joel Traut (owners) stopped by to review my bathroom drain issue. After taking considerable time they diagnosed issue is clear due to what I did to unclog the drain. AND they went out of their way to issue problem was resolved by going to Street Manhole(Sewer) and see if water is flowing. All went well no more clog drain. Drain Doctors cleared my sewer line in an hour with a smile and a minimal charge. They know their stuff - two other companies wanted to unseat a toilet - for a price - to provide access but Christian at Drain Doctors just used the vent on the roof. One of the other companies even tried to get me to dig up the entire line, which would have cost $15,000. His plumbers came out and snaked it, but couldn't get through. They said that there was a 90 degree angle in the pipe and it was completely blocked, and they would need to cut the pipe and alter the angle for easier flow. They were both very kind guys! However, the master plumber said it would cost $3200! I said that was too much, and he said he'd discount me $400. So, I actually paid $2890. I researched after the job was completed and I was definitely taken advantage of. The rate for that type of job (not cutting into walls) should have been at least about $1000+ less. I'm very disappointed because I really wanted to believe they were being honest. UPDATE: I spoke with Elias and he agreed that the charge was too high. He adjusted the price and compensated me accordingly. I appreciate his efforts to make things right!

It is not hard to put the screws back took me all of 5 minutes, but for 300.00 you think they would have completed the job.

Loveland Plumbing put my family in danger and cost me plenty…read more In 2014, Loveland Plumbing (Brian Gross), was hired to install a new tankless water heater (Takagi) that I had already purchased. He estimated $600 to install, taking a couple of hours. He also said it would require and additional $170 for a coupler for the exhaust system. Three days later, he brought another plumber with him who would do the installation. The coupler he order was the wrong size. He said he didn't have time to track down the right sized coupler; he cut one down instead as a temporary solution. Then he presented me with a bill for $1200, claiming he quoted my husband $800 (not $600), plus parts. He never returned to put in a proper coupler and NEVER RETURNED CALLS. A few days later, there were high CO levels in the house, confirmed by the gas company that found the source in the tankless exhaust, plus there was unburned gas. The exhaust was very hot, and the unit was red-tagged. Over the next three weeks, spending another $1,800 with other plumbers, and three visits by the gas company, the following was uncovered about the installation by Loveland Plumbing: 1.) There was no reason for the additional cost of installation. We could not get an itemized bill. 2.) The inlet gas pressure to the unit was twice what it should have been. 3.) The gas regulator had been adjusted to maximum but that was not the amount needed by the unit. 4.) The standard procedure is to calculate the capacity of the gas line connections and determine if the owner needs different meter and regulator installed. Mr. Gross did not do this. In this case the unit need 171% the capacity of the old gas line. 5.) The unit was placed 12 feet away from where it should have been placed, increasing the need for more piping, which reduced efficiency and delayed the delivery of hot water (which wastes water). 6.) Loveland Plumbing used corrugated tubing which increased turbulence/pressures and had to be replaced. 7.) Loveland Plumbing's temporary coupler had ends going in the wrong direction 8.) Loveland Plumbing didn't see that the fresh air vent in the crawl space needed vented siding and cleaning. 9.) The increased pressures at the gas inlet my have damaged the unit and the inadequate make-shift substitutes may have voided the manufacturer's warranty.
