CHADWICK ELECTRIC SERVICES ROCKS. We had to call an electrician on a Sunday a few months ago and they was able to squeeze us into their schedule. Thank God, because they found a problem that had been festering for a mere 25 YEARS in our electric box. The best part about his service was Don took the time to explain the problem to my wife (love that lady, but she's not about the wrench at all) and was able to break it down into two options for us: The get-us-up-and-running-quickly fix and The you-need-to-seriously-replace-all-of-this-longterm fix. We went with the temporary solution and he told us it would last probably only a few weeks, giving us just enough time to knock off a liquor store to pay for the permanent solution. I'm happy to report that it's been a few months and we have had plenty of time to avoid armed robbery by just setting a few bucks aside every week, knowing that Don's prophecy would soon come to pass. The problem is now showing every sign of returning (just as he called it) and I couldn't be happier calling him today to start planning on doing the "big job." Chadwick rewired our old home that had knob and tube wiring and a mast that didn't meet today's standards. In the process, they replaced the panel and arranged all the permitting and the power conversion for the mast with Excel Energy. We also had them add new fixtures and plugs. Rewiring a home built in 1915 is not an easy task. They did an excellent job and even made sure we had power throughout the job. The drywall was not damaged which was one of our major concerns. Everyone who came to our home was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. They were able to complete the work faster than I would have expected. At the end of the day, they left our home clean and ready for us to live in. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for quality work at a fair price. A melting plug for my bathroom radio necessitated some quick electrical response! Because our house was built in the 1970's when aluminum wiring was still being used, my son recommended Chadwick Electric who has been in Fort Collins for many years and knew how to deal with aluminum wiring, besides being a very reputable company. Tad had to order specific outlets or make sure ones were on their truck for the old wiring in our house and Paul N. did the repair. He was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had, very professional in his work and very ethical in explaining the billing.
