The work is extremely overpriced and potentially dangerous (more below). First let me just share that I believe they will overcharge you if they think you will pay. After having done some work I think I already over paid for, I was quoted $4500 to run some wires from my panel for an induction stove. I was already done working with this company for reasons I'll get into below, but I had the work expertly done for $1350. I don't see how someone who has been in my house and knows my attic/setup extremely well can get to a price that high unless they are trying to rip me off. If that's not enough for you, I had wiring and a bunch of work done for my sauna. I was told the quote needed to be this high to run #2 wire which was going to be expensive. They ended up running #8 and said that was a write up error and wouldn't give any discount. Again, I think I was ripped off. Lastly, a 50 amp circuit was put in place for the sauna. The electrician placed 2 plugs on the same 50 amp circuit. Every electrician I've talked to said this is an obvious no-no and couldn't believe they would do this. After arguing with my father (40 years of licensed electrical experience) they eventually caved and refunded the money for the outlets. However, the trust was already broken. I would not hire someone who does something this dangerous and won't admit their mistake.

Called several places, no one could come for 4 days. Daytime highs were in the 95 range. Left a message with Joe, he called back within 30 minutes. Was finishing up another Job in Windsor. Came to my place next (in Erie), saw what needed replacing. He went to Lowes down the street, came back and replaced the main AC breaker with an up to code GCFI breaker, and replaced the AC Breaker box with a disconnect as a breaker there is really not needed. Very reasonable price. Fixed within 2 hours of call. Joe was very personable and easy to talk to. Answered all my questions. Would highly recommend!

Having given credit where it is due, I would not be telling the full story without mentioning some serious issues: (1) They were hired on March 10. They said they would do the job the week of March 16; that week came and went with no work done (and no update of any kind). The delay continued until March 31, when I basically said it was now or never. The main issue was a lack of coordination with the electric company. (2) All work was completed on March 31. I got the bill on May 18. Due date: May 18! The electrician was there 2 hours, but the bill was for 3.5 hours. Bottom line: I chose Leading Edge over lower bids, but knowing everything I know now, I would make a different choice.

I asked to pay him on the spot. He said they would bill me. I text my contact at the company and asked for a bill, she said she would get to it. I never received a bill or a phone call so eventually, I called them again and asked for the bill a third time and paid it in full. I then received a collections bill from some company in Greely claiming non payment of some mysterious bill and found out it was these clowns. I then had to email the collection guys and dispute the inaccuracy of the billing fraudulently reported and compose this warning. It's too bad, the actual electrician was great but the billing has been a complete nightmare. I will be looking for sparky elsewhere in the future.

They showed up with two workers, only one guy was doing the work. They didn't install any new switches just installed the fan. They were at the house less than a hour. I received a text message later that day with an amount due of $449. I reached out to the manager that day and told him that I agreed to $250. He said he would look into it and get back to me. He never returned my calls or sent me a bill in the mail. A year later I get a call from the collection agency that they turned the bill over. I am disputing the charge and will never recommend this company to anyone else. They are dishonest and deceitful.

I had a party from another well known company come out to help me fix a few switches that I had turned around. The guy tried to tell me the electric box would eventually have to be replaced. Based upon what the electrician told me from Bornschein electric, most of the equipment is rated by the UL and should last about 100 years. He said unless we started experiencing issues in the house, we should be good. I thanked him for the information. Bornschein is dependable and has integrity.
