Nick was great to work with: he showed up slightly early for both the estimate and the install, was friendly and efficient, and was able to replace the items needed to get our AC back up and running (including a new Evaporator and Condenser). Best of all, the price was 20% less expensive than other estimates we had received, and the work was completely finished within less than 48 hours of us first contacting the business (other companies wouldn't have been able to complete the repair for anywhere between one to three weeks). I went to Yelp looking for a better option and definitely found one! Halo was able to come out within a couple days of contacting them and the diagnostic fee was $89, which was to be applied to any work performed if needed. it turned out it was a tripped breaker they were able to reset and my system is cooling perfectly again... for $89!! The most notable and appreciated factor for me is they didn't come in trying to sell me service plans, upgrades to my system or accessories, or otherwise upsell me on a well maintained and well functioning older HVAC system. Even when I asked for a quote on a heat pump to take advantage of the rebates while they last, Halo didn't push me to pick the most expensive option or upsell me on a pricier type of system. And icing on the cake - despite a lot of in and out while working on figuring things out, my technician was constantly putting on and taking off booties to keep my house clean.
