Just do it! First of all, this is seasonal. I believe the season starts in May through September, so we were very lucky to catch the end of the season. We met at the meeting point, got in their van and was drove to the boat launch (about 10 miles) and float back to the meeting point. Our River Guide was Neil. He was professional, funny and gave us interesting facts throughout the ride. He even pointed out eagle nests. Sadly, we didn't see any animals but that's okay because the view was just spectacular and breathtaking. We also got lucky with the weather. Blue sky in the 70s. Water starts to feel good (at least if you have a nice day like we did). Wear your Teva's or water shoes! About a 20 minute drive to where you take off. Hope for a great guide - we had Kyle and he made our trip exceptional. We were going through dips and "whitewater" that other rafts were passing by. He was very experienced, had a great personality and had a lot of knowledge about the surroundings. Thanks Kyle!! Return is roughly 35 minutes back, where you can view your photos. The photographers are phenomenal, but pricey - $125 for all the digitals. There is an option to choose 1 or 3 photos, but there are so many great pic's, you'll want them all! My kids are 16 and 19 and loved every bit and want to do it again. I felt like the level 3-4 was doable though we had some close calls. Out of the 6 raft's no one went over. Theses guides are skilled. The time is exhilarating and serene at the same time. You get to to tip your guide after. We also choose to get a digital photo which the photographer does an incredible job capturing our moments. After you get to enjoy some of the best hot chocolates in town or coffee. One of the guides was struggling with the horse he was on. It was doing circles while he was on the highway waiting for others to cross. Once everyone had crossed and he was on the dirt, he proceeded to hit his horse several times in the neck, which appeared to be with a lot of force. We were appalled and this type of abuse to this horse should never happen. I suggest you terminate this employee or take any necessary action. What we witnessed was awful and I hope this isn't typical of the way your Ranch treats these beautiful animals.

Instead, we were initially grouped with guests who had booked the half-day tour, and we visited the same sites they did. Our tour also ended after only about 4.5 hours. We contacted the company afterward to request a partial refund, since we had specifically paid extra for the full-day experience and did not receive the additional time or itinerary advertised. Unfortunately, they refused to offer any refund or adjustment. While we had a great guide, the tour itself did not match what was advertised, and the company's response when we raised the issue was disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not book this tour again.
