I wasn't allowed to be down by the pool to watch my own kids. I won't be returning. A simple, yet clammy, indoor pool with a couple diving boards and one small slide, this isn't the first place I think of taking my children on a hot summer day. However, it's the perfect place to take children for swimming lessons. In fact, years ago the Idaho Falls Aquatic Center out-parented me. All three of my children took swimming lessons there. Years before, when we lived in Utah, I took my youngest to a Mommy/Tot class at the local swimming pool. He hated it. While all the other toddlers complaisantly bobbed in the water with doting parents, my child would have none of it. For the length of his lesson I would stand in the shallow end while he would climb the stairs, jump into the water, climb, jump, climb, jump, until someone blew the whistle to cue the blessed end of swimming lessons (because surprisingly, standing idly in my swimming suit before watchful parents and teenage lifeguards is not my idea of a good time). Needless to say, I was more than a little worried when I enrolled the aforementioned child in a parentless class one summer at the IF Aquatic Center which strongly discourages parents from watching lessons poolside. You are asked to observe from a balcony above the pool, complete with plate-glass windows--far from being able to swoop in and carry a belligerent child to a private time-out. And for some reason, eliminating that possibility for parental intervention makes it much easier for instructors to prevent that belligerent behavior in the first place. It was fabulous! Not only could I watch their lessons far from all the action, but I could observe as very attentive teachers kept children on task as they learned how to swim. So while I wouldn't recommend this pool for a fun getaway, I would definitely recommend it for swimming lessons.

Within a couple days of delivery we had a leak and we were instructed by Joe Hardy at MC to pull a panel and inspect for the leak. I asked Joe why there was loose fiberglass inside the unit and he informed me that Sundance had changed insulation. I immediately made it clear that we were told the unit would be full foam. We asked to return the tub but Scott wouldn't allow it, they tried to resolve the leak by offering us another unit with fiberglass insulation which we rejected. After getting a regional Sundance Rep involved it was decided we would get a replacement when Sundance converted back to foam insulation. We told them to come get the tub but Scott said they would leave it until the replacement was available. 15 months later Scott calls and says we'll be getting an all new tub new accessories, steps, cover, etc, that we'll have to pay $2312 for the swap(originally told there may be a $400 - $600 upgrade fee when the foam units are produced again). We pushed back and they lowered it to $1312. The original tub had the Extreme cover, and SmartTub pd $1000 for upgrade. Scott said they would take the SmartTub from our old tub and install it on the new tub. The replacement tub was delivered and set up by Chase and his partner, they did a HORRIBLE job!! Chase told me that he didn't have the promised matching steps and that this tub wouldn't have SmartTub. Before he left I decided to hold the $1312 check until those issues were resolved, at that time unaware of what we'd find that evening. We looked at the tub that evening and were shocked at all the things that Chase left in nonworking order. The interior lights would not turn on, two air valves were not functioning, one would barely move and the other would spin out of it's socket. I saw Chase playing with the knob that wouldn't turn while he was filling the tub but I wasn't aware that he was having issues with it until that evening when we inspected it. The cover was not installed correctly, the cover wouldn't seat on the tub rim and was too small for the tub, the skirt was to short to cover the acrylic, all 4 sides had over an inch of acrylic exposed to the sun. Cover strap brackets were mounted at inconsistent measurements, you could see from 30 feet away how crooked they were installed. I don't understand how an installer can walk away from an installation this bad and not say a word. We listed the issues in an email to Scott, Missing SmartTub($1000), wrong cover, air knobs not working, interior lighting not working, missing promised matching steps, etc., and got no response. I contacted Scott again letting him know we'd be out of town for a couple weeks and asked him again to get back with us. Waited almost 3 months(they are a few hours away and only come to our area once a month) and no response from Scott, and no service call. We called and told them to come get the tub and refund our money. Joe Hardy got involved and offered us $7500 of the $15,500 that we paid. After going back and forth with Joe, I contacted the BBB, Joe Hardy responded to the BBB lying about the insulation issue and reaffirming the $7500 refund, or offering to warranty and come fix the tub(this is after 5 months, why weren't they knocking on our door sooner?). We thought about it and decided we'd had enough of the lies and lousy customer service, and concluded we didn't want the stress of dealing with them for another 5 years. They refunded $7500 of the $15,500 and took the tub back. Look for an honest Dealer and consider not buying Sundance either. Sundance customer service offered no assistance other than to tell us to take it up with our reseller.

Yellowstone National Park absolutely lives up to the hype. Even if you've seen the photos, even if…read moreyou think you know what to expect -- the scale of this place is hard to grasp until you're standing in it. You can watch Old Faithful erupt, walk past neon-colored hot springs, drive through wide-open valleys full of bison, and stand at the edge of a canyon that looks like it belongs on another planet -- all in the same day. Every section of the park feels different, which keeps it from ever feeling repetitive. That said, it takes planning. Distances are longer than they appear, traffic can build quickly in peak season, and wildlife jams are very real. Give yourself more time than you think you need. It's big, it's wild, and it's absolutely worth the effort.

The park is HUGE, we spent 3 days here and didn't even get to all the scenic points, just visited the highlights. The park is a stunning destination for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, and history buffs. It spans across 3 states Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho with multiple entrances . It is home to the greatest concentration of hydrothermal features in the world, including geysers, hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles. It also boasts spectacular scenery, such as lakes, canyons, rivers, waterfalls, and mountain ranges. Fall is a wonderful time to visit Yellowstone, as the crowds are fewer, the colors are vibrant, and the wildlife is active. The weather can be pleasant but temperature can vary great on a day to day basis and sometimes on a hour to hour basis. The first day we were there it was a nice hot 78 degrees during the day, second day however the cold front moved in and it actually snowed. Yes you read that right. Temperature dropped down to below freezing point over night. Pack wisely. One of the highlights of fall in Yellowstone is the wildlife. Lots of elks and deers freely roaming around, and definitely not afraid of humans. We got stuck in 45min of traffic due to a whole herd of bison crossing. It was a cool sight to see. If you enjoy hiking or biking, fall is a great time to explore Yellowstone's trails and roads. You can see the leaves change color from green to yellow, orange, and red. You can also enjoy the geothermal features without the summer crowds. Some of the most popular areas to visit are Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Mammoth Hot Springs, Lamar Valley, and Yellowstone Lake. You should check the road status and closures before you go, as some sections may be closed for maintenance or snow. Fall in Yellowstone is a magical experience that you will never forget. It is a place where you can connect with nature, learn about history, and have fun. I highly recommend visiting Yellowstone National Park in fall!
