Convenient, usually pleasant if not chatty, they really do unload your vehicle! I had a lot of stuff, a number of computers and a whole bunch of metal shelving I couldn't find homes for. They didn't blink an eye. The only issue is they can only take four (4) screens (monitors or laptops) per day per person. It is the law, but they don't mention it on their website. Luckily I only brought four. Other areas are not nearly as fortunate to have a place like this. It has been really helpful to have around. read more

Easy peasy! Just drive your load to the back and the team there will unload. Call ahead or see their website for cost on microwaves and other items like plasma tv. Note you're limited by the county or state 6 tv every 6 months per household. So yeah I had more than 6 TVs I accumulated over the years. read more

Since my last visit, Rapid Recycle has moved up the Street on Pacheco. I stopped by today to drop off an old microwave. There was no charge and the guy took it off my hands quickly and with a smile. Found this place after Delta Hazardous Waste turned me away after I told them some of the items came from a church (considered a business) and handed me a bunch of forms for the "business" to apply to dispose of e waste,. Looking at forms and has nothing to do with e-waste but Hazardous waste....anyway it lead me to these folks who gladly, and quickly unload my small truck. What a crazy place I dropped off a Stove $18.00 on Saturday I thought was a fair price. They have a retail area there that they resale items When I tried to purchase a item I was told they only sale stuff on wed from 10-2 pm The Kid running the place was rude. So I was in the area on Wed so I pulled in when I went to walk into the store I was told to park on the street no retail parking in the lot there was 8 open spots I was there to spend about $200.00 on a few items. Who would run a business that would pass up cash sales every day of the week and then run people out of a empty parking lot. I will never go back there again read more

These guys recycled my giant, 15-year-old, 47" LPD television for $20. They told me they take everything else for free, but Gov. Jerry Brown makes us pay a $20 surcharge to even attempt to recycle those monstrosities. That's okay, I was happy to pay to try to help mend the Earth. The staff was super friendly and even apologetic about it, but they showed me the sign about disposing of LPD televisions, I knew it was legit. As much as the place looked and felt like a mini junk-yard, they were actually extremely organized and professional and even the charging of my $20 was hi-tech, using a Square Register that emailed me a receipt right away. Over the years Ive had a few things that I needed to get rid of and couldn't take to a regular dump. Our washing machine broke so we took it here to drop off. I moved and had an extra microwave that for some reason no one wanted to even buy at a yard sale. I didn't want it and rather than tossing it I thought Id bring it here. The microwave cost me and extra $10 to drop off but at least it will be recycled. They also charge $10 for laptop batteries. They were free to drop off once a long time ago but not anymore. Think about it before you take those electronic items to the dump and bring them here. How good for the environment this is, is unknown to me. read more

Went today, 3/9/22, approx. 10 a.m., for the first time. I had a lot of monitors/keyboards and a printer, some practically brand new. I pulled in and a gentleman directed me where to park. After I got out, that same man and another gentleman came over to my vehicle and asked what I had. I opened up the back and they immediately started unloading. Wow, what a great experience!!! Vince was very friendly and professional. They met me at my car and unloaded all my ewaste from the trunk and were nice enough to give me directions to the hazardous waste drop of location just a half a mile away. Absolutely effortless. After calling several places to get estimates on drop offs, only to discover that they charge you a ridiculous amount; I finally decided to call Rapid Recycle after a friend recommended them; and after finding out that they don't charge anything, unless if its a DOP t.v ( they charge $20.00 for that), I knew our search had come to an end. We hauled the big, monstrously dated t.v. into my mother in laws truck and headed on over to little Pacheco to get rid of the sucker. Located right off Pacheco blvd ; smack dab on the left - junk everywhere - can't miss it. As soon as we pulled in, a guy came out with a dolly and helped us unload this dated thing away.They require to ask for I.D. and give you a receipt. Fast and easy - no hassle - no dough forked out - fantastic. This is definitely the place your probably looking for and will certainly be our go-to spot for our future electronic/junk drop offs. This place is great for any E-Recycling needs. I have been here a couple of times. They say they take anything with a plug, and they do. I brought a couple of strange work-related items here, and no problem, they took them with a smile. Last week I finally brought 2 old CRT TVs and that was a snap. They do ask for your name and ID, but then they gave me 2 ticket for a drawing as well. I think the winner gets tickets to a ball game. (A's, not Giants). Once I found this place it was great. Their website has an old address and the map here on Yelp at the time was also showing the Second St address so that was a pain and why they lost 1 star. Google found the right place for me and after pulling into a parking spot 2 employees came right out and unloaded my car. I had 25 years worth of dead computers and a TV and stuff and they had it all unloaded in 2 minutes. I had to show ID for the TV for a some state law but no biggee. Totally free and painless. My garage can now be filled up with the next 25 years worth of dead electronics... Just be sure you go to the Pacheco Blvd address and ignore their website! read more

After buying a new television, we had the problem of removing the fossil taking up space in the corner. I tried to call Best Buy, and was transferred to Magnolia and got disconnected after 16 minutes. I called up Rapid cycle, asked how much to pick up the 200 lb television and when could they. The lady on the other line was very pleasant, had an opening for the next day between 8 am and 3 pm. Told me that they will call on there way. No problem. They called about nine, in and out. Had a dead fridge I needed to get rid of so I loaded it up in my truck and dropped it here for $25. The dump would have charged me closer to $35 so it was a decent deal. We needed to get rid of our old TV and stereo, and since this place is a few blocks away we thought we'd give Rapid Recycle a try. However, their listed business hours are all over the place. If I don't know exactly when you open or closed how can I find the right time to drop off my e-waste? I decided to call their office -- no answer. "The user's mailbox is full and cannot accept more messages. Good bye." I visited their website -- it's a blank page. Finally we decided to just roll the dice and drive over -- nope, closed. There was a sign on the (locked) gate that said "8-5." What does that mean? Are you open or not?!? Rapid Recycle - Recycling Center Near Me - Pacheco, California

I visited Rapid Recycle for the first time today and had a very unpleasant experience. I called ahead of time to confirm that I could drop off all of my old computers and I was told that would either drill a hole through the hard drive in front of me or they could write a written confirmation that it would be done. When I arrived, I was told by an employee that they did not have to time to deal with it and they would only be accepting 4 of my computers. The car next to me was dropping of boxes of electronics and I don't understand why mine were not being accepted as well. The way that I was spoken to was very unprofessional and doesn't seem to agree with many of the other reviews. I am not sure it was just this specific employee, but It makes me question the company as a whole. read more
