He carried it on his back through the weeds and up the stairs before the guys I had over even realized that he'd started. And this was a BIG COUCH, all natural materials (heavy wood), with a row of three seats as one side and a chaise lounger as the other. He was extremely careful the entire time. When I told the guys they should be helping him, they met up with him at the top of the stairs and he was able to communicate effectively with them (all non-native English speakers he'd never met before) to tell them how to move the gigantic thing through the hallways without hitting any of the wall sconces. I was very impressed. Throughout our entire engagement, Dan was extremely courteous even though I couldn't quite commit to a certain time due to my sporadic communications with the seller of the couch. He was a very good person and happy to help us out. Evidently, the couch seller was impressed, too--she later told me she was considering hiring him herself for a future move.

I scheduled a three-person moving team for my move. The movers were very young, and while they were…read morepolite and hardworking, it appeared to me that they lacked experience with a move of my size. During the move, a woman from the office called to ask how things were going. I shared my concerns about their apparent lack of experience and how long I thought it might take to move my three-bedroom home. Her response surprised me. She said, "Well, we can cancel your move if you'd like." I replied that I did not want to cancel and that I would simply have to stop the move once I reached my budget. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

I saw these movers moving someone else out of my building a week before I decided to call them, I…read morehave always used Two Men and A Truck but thought I'd give them a shot. Availability was open and not a problem, I scheduled to move my 2 bedroom apartment on Friday from Sacramento to Granite Bay. I tried to make everything as easy as I could for the movers everything was in boxes and all boxes were labeled to which room they should go to at the new home. Movers around at the time frame given which was 9:30-10 AM. They showed up in a smaller box truck which I knew from the beginning wasn't going to fit everything. When I called to make this appointment I told them I had a 2 bedroom apartment with a bunk bed and a bed 2 dressers 3 vanities a sectional couch and 40 boxes then misc items. I showed them everything and told them I had to go to work if they needed me to please reach out. The movers were very communicative and would send me photos and updates or ask questions about what should go where, but it threw me off because when the move was finished and I arrived at my new home everything was in the living room. A few random boxes and other items were in the bedrooms but nothing was out where I asked. Not a big deal I'll handle it I'm just happy they moved everything for me. But here is when I started to get disappointed. Let's back up a little, I mentioned the truck would be to small and of course it was they mentioned they would have to go back to do a second trip I said ok no problem. When they went back for a second trip he grabbed a few items and left the rest and asked me If I could just go get it myself. I'm thinking ok maybe it's just a few items no problem I'm sure they're tired. No.... I went to the apt the next day and it took me 2 trips In my Escalade to get the rest of the things and I still have to go back to get one more box that didn't fit in my car. Then, now back at new house I'm putting everything away I'm missing a box from my kitchen with my blender and a whole bunch of others items it's 100% not in this house not at the old apt. We go to put up our tvs and every single tv is missing the screws that connect the tv to the wall mounts not the screws that go into the wall but the screws that mount the tv to the mounts, EVERY SINGLE ONE! Then my main living room tv remote is gone it was in the side table next to the couch and now it's gone and I have to buy a new one. I'm not terribly mad but it's just annoying, I know they work hard and it's not an easy job but I've never had to go back myself to get the "rest" or had things missing. Again I appreciate the movers and tipped them still but I probably won't be using them again. This move felt like more of a headache than a smooth transition like the past moves we've done. I tried to reach out to let them know and it just seems like they were more worried about stating they should have charged me more than trying to fix the problems. At the end of the day if they brought a bigger truck I feel like none of these problems would have happened. Also I've been asking for my missing box and if they know where the remote is, no response. ‍

I had a move to a pod service that gave me a 4 hour window and could only tell me 1 hour in advance when it would be arriving; Travis was extremely flexible and made sure he and his team were prepared for whatever time the pod would arrive. His moving team was extremely friendly, efficient and communicative, as well. A lot of the move did not go as planned, due to the original storage location owners being super unhelpful and unfriendly, and me realizing that a number of things simply had to go to junk disposal due to damage in the original location. As result Travis' team had to move the items by hand to the curb outside the storage facility. They also technically had to unload and reload 3 times, but they did it with a kind nod and smile and understood that it wasn't my fault. Travis was absolutely right to recommend 3 movers, as without the third we would not have gotten done in estimated time that I required. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
