These guys are dope af!! They're reliable, responsive and roll with changing and/or delayed moving details. When the non-returnable item I needed moved into my kitchen appeared as though it wouldn't fit through my kitchen doorway, these guys made it possible. See photos for the tight fit with care. Great attitude, kind, accommodating and they were grateful for the opportunity to support moving needs. No sucky attitudes in sight. UPDATE: may 29th 2018: WOW haha I'd love some sort of proof to be uploaded of this police report. A robbery attempt? Because I asked if they had change for $20 bill? Hahahahhahaha wow. Literally so crazy. Also if you don't do jobs for Las Vegas, how was it a robbery attempt? If you aren't even in Las Vegas? Haha caught in multiple lies. Actually. Don't worry. I'll call LVPD and request a copy of this police report. I'll update soon. Wow. So update. A day or two after my honest review, I got a call from them asking me to remove my review because "it ruins his rating" apparently "his friend was screening his calls" that day and there was some sort of misunderstanding. I said there was no misunderstanding. He freaked out on me because I asked if he had change for a $20 bill. A fairly normal request if you ask me. I declined to do so because he was STILL being rude to me on the phone while calling to ask me to remove it. Which I thought was ridiculous. So now I read this reply and....... wow. I have no words except this obviously shows the true nature of the man/ men involved with this "company". I'm actually really glad I didn't hire them and if you're a woman that lives alone I would please think twice about hiring these men. They are very aggressive and demeaning. I honestly don't think I've ever come across someone so rude. Also to cover the Bay Area / Vegas thing. I found them from an ad they posted in Vegas. And on the phone call they said they are a business new to the Las Vegas area. This is no way to treat the community of a place you're starting business in. No idea where the drug accusations are coming from. They never met me in person and we never discussed anything about drugs. These guys are the best! I can't emphasize enough how amazing my experience was with Rapid Moving and Delivery. Tom and his crew helped me move from SF to San Jose. They made everything super easy, even in my tiny, poorly laid-out apartment with narrow doorways built in the 1900s. They get extra brownie points for moving my enormous futon and 3 ceramic sculptures out and down four flights of stairs without a single scratch! They were not only fast (as the name suggests) and affordable, but they were extremely friendly, punctual, and careful with all of my belongings. Rapid moving indeed. I called them late one evening and they were available for the next day. They were 10minutes late, but were so courteous to text and say they're in a traffic jam and they'd be 10mins late. They are super professional and have long experience in this job obviously. They knew the sofa I got won't go through the door of my old victorian apartment building, so they brought the tools to remove the legs. Same happened with the huge kitchen table. And they put it all back together and were super careful not to scratch the wooden floor, and double checked everything, making sure the table is stable. Reasonably priced as well. They were careful with all our items, fast, and Tom even offered some tips on how to clean a pre-existing stain he noticed on one of our rugs. Tom came on time with a friend. They brought a smaller van than I expected and so we had to make two trips to move everything, which took about 30 minutes longer than the expected minimum time. Negative two stars. The movers took advantage of me because they saw I was a single female moving from a hostile situation and they charged me $300 extra dollars. The movers kept stopping the move to tell me that they were going above and beyond by simply moving regular items. This of course made a three hour move turn into four hours. They told me that the "extra" work would cost $500 but if I slip them $300, they wouldn't tell the office. I've called, emailed, and texted the office and have not received a response. They support their movers swindling money from helpless females. read more
