When I questioned if it had been - they had "forgotten" I must say I'm totally dissatisfied with the customer service at this establishment. I brought them a $325.00 Toro push mower that needed the carburetor cleaned and the old fuel replaced due to sitting for a few months. The mower looks brand new and it was only used a couple of times. There is not even grass stains on the wheels. Nick the man at Mowchines I dealt with told me it would cost $60.00 -$70.00 dollars to clean the carburetor, replace the gas and call them in an hour to pick it up. I called them in the requested hour and they told me that they needed another hour because the carburetor was so filthy it needed to be ultrasonically cleaned. I called them back in another hour's time and they told me that the carburetor could not be properly cleaned as filthy and pitted as it was and the needle was totally plugged up and could not be cleaned. Nick then told me the entire carburetor needed to be replaced at the NOW cost of $150.00. Or I could pick up the mower and pay them $38.52 for the diagnosis. I picked up the mower from them, paid them the $38.52 and immediately drove down to West Palm Beach to see a friend of mine that knows how to repair mowers. I told the Nick gentleman at Mowchines that I would be doing this because I found his diagnosis and jacked up price hard to believe! My friend pulled the carburetor off and it was obvious that it was hardly dirty at all, the needle was not pitted or plugged up at all and it was totally fine. My friend simply sprayed and wiped down the carburetor with carb cleaner, put it back together, put fresh gas into it and the mower started on the first pull and ran like new. He then shut it off, waited an hour and again restarted it on the first pull, It runs like a charm! This tells me that High-Performance Mowchines in Port Saint Lucie was not being honest with me to take my money without doing the proper job I came in for! After this ordeal, I will get my $38.52 back from them one way or another! It's a good thing I listened to my feelings and did not get taken for the jacked-up price of $150.00. All I can say after explaining this experience is to be careful when dealing with them! I know that I will never deal with Mowchines again!

The issue went unnoticed for some time and in this time the company was bought by Florida coastt. The issue got escalated to a manager and they denied my refund request stating that they couldn't find the information. However, someone else from the company was able to provide me with details of the order before I got to the manager. This person was a former employee of the company they bought. They asked for corresponding details which matched but the employee then said that was from years ago and there was nothing they can do. Be careful with this company. Keep in mind that this was a item that was not even shipped. Their customer service is not like Amazon's.

Being ex-military showed up 20 minutes before they opened for the installation. Being experienced with hurry up and wait, figured I'd finish the morning cup of go-go juice and hang out. Nope.
