Car Battery was purposely drained to force a jump start leaving the lot. as it's an Audi it's impossible to drain the battery from lights being left on once the car is off and keys walk away from the vehicle. I checked the vehicle in the lot the night of towing and no lights were on. Gas tank was syphoned completely empty. It arrived in the lot with a full tank. And they put "auction on all the vehicles right away" ready to make money and steal your vehicle asap. They would not give a receipt when towing was paid for. Charged an extra fee for getting the vehicle out at 12:00 noon on a Saturday claiming it's after hours fee. Spoke to the dispatch to notify the company they have criminal activity in their lot under their own employees watch a they were only out to protect their own kind as aggression and excuses escalated. Do not use them. It's a racketeering company the police use to carry out dark agendas.

In late 2023, I purchased a 2023 Jeep Wrangler that had about 4K miles on it, and I purchased an extended warranty. I recently encountered an issue where the temp. gauge maxed out while we were idle at a traffic light. It self corrected in about 10 seconds, but it happened a second time. I had already scheduled an oil change with the dealer, so when I brought it in at 2:00 I let the Dennis know that I had this strange issue. He quickly informed me that they wouldn't be able to do anything with that for the afternoon as it was "late." He was caught off guard that I had an appt. for the oil change, too. He advised that I bring it back the next morning for both the oil change & a look at the problem. But he couldn't promise a rental car for the day - not sure it was covered under my warranty until they look at it (I have 1 vehicle and a 15 year old daughter to get to/from school & other things). I bring it in, he informs me that the thermostat needs to be replaced, which is covered under warranty. They tackle that and the oil change. I used their shuttle service to get home and found someone to help me to pick up my daughter. Dennis calls me to let me know thermostat is replaced, but he informs me that my shocks are leaking and need to be replaced - but the place doesn't even have that part so he has to order it. A Jeep dealership doesn't have replacement shocks for a 2023 JEEP WRANGLER??? He tells me that they'll order it, I need to bring it back in AGAIN, but don't worry - we'll have a rental car for you so that you can take care of your daughter for the day. The part doesn't arrive as expected, so we wait another day. I bring it in Friday morning and he asks me if I'm taking a shuttle back. I remind him that I need a rental car - he lets me know that they don't have any cars. I let him know that I'm not having the shocks done as I need wheels for the day. He asks if I can bring it on Monday. I let him know that I'm leaving for Baltimore for work all week. "We can't keep the ticket open that long." Why is this my problem??? He asks that if I'm going to be in Baltimore, can I leave the vehicle with them since I'm out. I let him know that I can't get to the airport without my vehicle. He is visibly annoyed and storms off to talk to whomever. Magically, a car is available for me. While we are waiting, another customer tells me this has happened to him. Shocks are replaced, rental is returned that evening and I head to cashier for my keys. I'm told that I owe $106 for the replacement. I let the cashier know that I have extended warranty on the vehicle. She tells me that there is a deductible from Mopar. This was NOT communicated to me at any time when I purchased the vehicle. It was NOT charged to me last year when I had to replace both batteries on the Jeep. I explain this to the cashier and I'm upset because I was told that this was covered under warranty (and it SHOULD be since I paid for it at purchase of the vehicle). "I just work here." She leaves in frustration, gets Dennis. He comes in and simply states, "I lied, this isn't covered." I was hoping that maybe the $106 was drastically less than my cost without the coverage (trying to feel better about the theft). "Oh, I couldn't tell you." I asked if it was in the thousands and he said that it would be at least $2K. I pay the thieves and discuss the situation later with my friend who is a car guru and does almost all his own repairs. He felt bad for me as he knows better. He was sure that I didn't even need the shocks replaced to begin with - the dealer is hitting up the Mopar folks for an unnecessary claim. While replacing my shocks doesn't hurt, it wouldn't have cost anywhere near $2K. Later I look at the paperwork & I notice that they wrote that I stated my "ride has become rough and bounces when hitting bumps." I didn't say ANY of that. They are dishonest, and Dennis doesn't have the right temperament for the job.

We were impressed and felt confident that SLAD was the place to service our beloved RV in the future, for many reasons, too long for this short review. We have since brought our RV in for evacuation and charge of its a/c. The service was performed professionally while I waited. The price was fair and the a/c now blows ice cold. I have been to many auto repair shops and met many auto mechanics, some good, some not so much. I had some discussions about the MB Sprinter chassis, and found that Wayne was up to speed on all the details on this vehicle. I have a lot of confidence with Wayne and SLAD being the auto shop I will be using for all my RV chassis future needs.

Robert was also easy to deal with but later on I contacted him about the fact that there were no owner's manuals in the CX-5 - the only idea he had was to download them as pdf's which is not so exciting to me. It took me about 3 weeks to figure out how to turn off the daytime running lights (take a fuse out). I called them a 2nd time about something else - but they never called back. The USB cell phone charger has an awkward location & is weak/lousy, not as strong as was my former car's cig lighter (in a Nissan Rogue) but I am enjoying the better gas mileage. Overall my purchase was pretty smooth and well done but I still don't know if I can put my old lic plate on this Mazda. Just before I drove off Bruce set up the bluetooth for me - that was nice. I had a follow up call from Bruce a few weeks ago - he updated me about the license plate and told me he would mail me owner's manuals for the car but I have not received them yet.
