Don't know how you can one star this place. Donuts are great! But the best thing about this place has been it's service. Today I walked in to three gentlemen with the best vibes you could ask for (also playing jams I haven't heard for decades that really made my morning) . I wish I could walk into any restaurant or store and encounter this kind of environment. Also to note, I didn't spark any conversation with these folks, just ordered my donuts and felt taken care of really well! Love love love their donuts. They have amazing selections to choose from and they have made it so easy to order them online. When waiting in line to pick up our box they actually checked the donuts and replaced the one they thought was over cooked or burnt. Don't get me wrong I always enjoyed their donuts their Apple Fritters are so good especially, when I warm them up at home. Although I am very concerned I have no clue what is going on but I just went there not to long ago to find the store shut, lights off, donuts in the case, and a sign that says "On brake, be back at 7." For a brake you shut down the whole place? I went to grab some donuts for a party I was going to, and now I am having to drive to somewheres else to get donuts. What a great addition to Pasadena! I have been a fan of Randy's donuts from their other locations, but there's something special about this new location. The line may seem daunting for a box of donuts, but they are well worth the wait. From classic raised donuts to specialty decorated fruit loops and churros, they offer a treat for the whole family! I highly recommend the bacon maple long john, butter crumb raised and if you're a nutella fan, you have to try the nutella raised! Not only do they have the best donuts, they have the friendliest staff. I was served a cup of cold water while waiting in line (during 90+ degree weather) and they do a great job of staying patient with their customers since picking out a dozen donuts can be slightly overwhelming once you get inside! Not sure of the hype here... Went here twice this week in the morning for fresh donuts and was served yesterday's old hard and flavorless donuts. Way overpriced donuts here. Smaller shops seem to offer fresher and less expensive donuts than this place. Obviously selling you a name with nothing to back it up. You cannot get fresh donuts here at 10am so there is obviously something wrong!!! Will not be going back. I highly recommend NOT stopping by, the hassle of parking, one entrance and one exit with a line makes it very inconvenient to pick up a reasonably priced fresh donut. Since only opened few weeks ago, the line is long, had to wait for about an hour, got mixed #4, good donuts.

Great donuts! Suggestion, try everything once. Caution skip the coffee, you will find it mildly offensive. These are not coffee people, in fact I think they hate coffee. Had their ice coffee and it almost ruined my donut buzz. Getting back to the donuts, their basic dough formula is so good that even the plain is delicious. Frosting to donut ration is alittle high for my taste but some people like that. For now there is a long line, stick it out it is worth it. In closing, eat more donuts! read more

Randys has the best donuts ever. The bacon maple is the best donut i have ever had. It is really good and the bacon and maple are a great combo. The butter milk is really good too i like it so much it is thicc and tasty with lots of sugar. I love the butter crumb too it is great. another food that i like is the coffee it is very tasty and is premium coffee . The blueberry cake is delicious and you should get it. NOT LIKE THE ORIGINAL RANDYS! I love Randy's donuts near LAX and was happy to know it came to Pasadena. Unfortunately, the donuts at this location are a miss. We ordered the bear claw and the dough was still raw/uncooked near the center. When I told the worker her response was simply "thanks for the feedback" and kept of selling the undercooked donuts. AND they were sold out of apple fritters by 9 am! Looks like I will be headed back to local donut shops. Very disappointing. read more

Went to Randys earlier this week with my little boy and the cashier was extremely rude. She was an older white women with glasses and her costumer service was terrible. Amazing donuts! We got the bacon maple bar, chocolate cream, sprinkles, old fashion, and blueberry glazed. My favorite were the bacon maple bar and blueberry glazed. The donuts had a crisp texture when you first bite into it but are moist and fluffy inside. Parking isn't great since it's on a busy street with many restaurant. If that young lady doesn't work there, I would have given it a 4 stars to Randy. Here's the story. I hardly buy donuts before but found Randy's Donuts have great substance to their donuts so I went a few times, I usually buy 2 donuts every time. But one time I decided to treat my friend's family a box of mixed donuts & 2 extra for myself. Well, I was happy to tip the staff when the tab was over $20. But after that time, I have been buying 2 singles each time, this same young lady asked me to touch the screen to tip her for my 2 donuts which the total came out to be like $2.70. First, I paid with my Apple Pay bc I didn't want to touch anything just to avoid the exposure of COVID19. Second, I really don't know how much should I tip her for merely a small tab of $2.70. I've been there few times, none of the workers asked me to tip them except this same young lady. Every time she would insist to have me to tab on the screen to tip her. It was so annoying to have someone to be so persistent. Note: I usually tip servers 20% but definitely not a total bill of $2.70 & to someone make me to do something I'm reluctant to. My excitement turned into disappointment very quickly. I preordered my daughter a birthday doughnut 2 days before her birthday celebration as I was told to do. Well when I went in to place the order, Michelle was extremely helpful and even went above and beyond by printing out a picture of the exact way that I wanted it decorated and she attached it to my order. Low and behold the pick up day rolled around and when I asked about my order no one seemed to know what I was talking about!! When Michelle finally came down, as soon as she saw me she began to shake her head and apologize because believe it or not, she forgot to expedite my order to someone that day!!! How does that happen?? I think she's even the owner or manager?? She couldn't stop apologizing and went as far as offering to put some of the big donuts together to create some kind of cake donut! ‍Of course I was extremely angry and repeatedly asked for my refund because I had 1 hour to go buy another cake for my daughter! She was giving me all kinds of excuses, which to me meant nothing because, I'm sorry a big franchise like this not being able to complete an order placed days in advance? Sorry, no excuses. So please, if you're thinking about being creative and replacing a birthday cake with a "donut cake" from Randy's, just go to good old Coldstone and pick one up there, they saved my birthday cake drama!! First time at Randy's. They just opened in Pasadena. Waited in line and the donuts were great. We felt super rushed when we finally got inside. Went with the kids and of course they couldn't make up their minds, but that's just being a kid. So many options to choose from. The staff forgot one of our donuts. Not sure if we got charged for it. They should have confirmed our order before, but again we felt super rushed like we only had a couple minutes to order and run out. The space is narrow. Not their fault. There are going to be lines everywhere due to COVID restrictions, but we should still feel like we can take our time to see what we want and order. Also, one of our chocolate milks was old! My son said it tasted weird and I tried it. It smelled gross and tasted gross! So, our first time wasn't the best, but I'll still be back! These donuts are addictive! So many delicious flavors. They're more expensive than the National chain donuts but so much tastier. They don't have so much sugar that they make your teeth hurt like some of their competitors.
